Hiya - just thought an alternative place for those of us on our 2nd or more pregnancies might be a good idea. I just found out and already it's very different than the first time!

I'm on #2, EDD 25/3/16, one DS 2yrs and 2 months.

Had an interesting voice mail on my phone today from the midwife saying my urine sample suggests i might have a urinary tract infection. Guess that explains why I've been peeing so much!

MayFlowers16 · 15/09/2015 20:14

Sorry for falling off this thread. I haven't been able to get on mn while the app hasn't been working. Just been catching up on my pc.

I had my 20w scan today - everything was fine and she thinks it's 'probably' a girl. (?) I'm secretly hoping she's right as I'd love another girl. Smile

hufflebottom · 15/09/2015 21:32

I love the probably. Fingers crossed for you

LastOneDancing · 16/09/2015 06:31

Morning all.
Got woken up at 5.15 and I can't get back to sleep so today is going to be a long one!

Told my boss yesterday as my bump is already showing, he was fine, seemed very happy for me which was nice. Also means I can crack out the maternity wear properly and stop shoe-Horning myself into my work trousers!

Good luck for today sunny

LastOneDancing · 16/09/2015 06:32

And great news may!

CarrotPuff · 16/09/2015 15:15

I had a 2h nap and I'm still tired... And the rain outside is making me grumpy!

SunnyL · 16/09/2015 16:10

Phew scan went well. Everything in order and have even moved me forwards by a week - new EDD of 21st March.

Feels like such a relief!

Brindler · 16/09/2015 17:23

Congratulations Sunny!

CarrotPuff I'm super jealous of your nap! I've got an annoying little cold that won't properly come out and I've been wanting a nap all day!

Tiredoftiredness · 16/09/2015 17:27

Congrats on scans May and sunny! No news here really, except that I can not stop eating.

Looking forward to anomaly scan next fri

SunnyL · 17/09/2015 14:09

Have given myself permission to crack out the maternity jeans. Gawd I'd forgotten how comfy they are

CarrotPuff · 18/09/2015 07:40

Tired I can't stop eating too. And mega tired. I've read the baby is about to have a growth spurt, so I hope that's the reason...

ThursdayLastWeek · 18/09/2015 07:43

Hello everyone!

Am I totally mad to think that sometimes I can 'feel' the baby? I'm 14+6, and I do t mean kicks or anything, just sometimes like a pressure right deep down in my uterus?

I'm probably mad Grin

Did my first Pilates class back after the summer last night which was lovely, my teacher is totally fab. I'm really going to miss doing it when I'm not allowed to lie on my back for too long.

I hope everyone's ok?
Any scans coming up? Consultant appts.?

RooibosTeaAgain · 18/09/2015 09:30

Congrats on goods scans May and Sunny.

has everyone had their "12" week scan now and either had or is waiting for the anomaly scan?

I managed to sort out my first (!) midwife appointment - for 15 weeks. Apparently all midwives are moving clinics hence I get a joint book in and 16week check at 15weeks! Totally rubbish.

CarrotPuff · 18/09/2015 12:34

thursday, not mad at all, I felt baby move at 14 weeks. I felt it moving about this morning too, but it's still very weak.

Got 16w MW appt at 2pm today, yay! Must not forget to ask for exemption card! Really need to see a dentist, my gums are driving me insane!

Roiboos you are having your booking in at 15 weeks? How weird!

CarrotPuff · 18/09/2015 12:39

Forgot to say congrats on scans May and Sunny!

RooibosTeaAgain · 18/09/2015 12:56

Carrot - it is a joint booking and 16 weeks in 1hr at 15weeks I think!! it is how the services here treat you if you have a stillbirth - see you less ( can you tell I am not impressed!) The other midwife said no point seeing her as she was moving jobs. As all I get is: 8, 16,28 week apt as not a first pregnancy ( not know after that) seeing 2 different ones makes no difference to me!!

SunnyL · 18/09/2015 12:56

Thursday I can definitely feel baby fluttering and I'm 13w. Was obvious during the scan.

Oh and Carrot I've already had free dentist care - they didn't want to see a card. They just took.my word at it. Course this is Scotland so.might be different?

RooibosTeaAgain · 18/09/2015 12:57

Hope you get card sorted and a good check today Carrot.

CarrotPuff · 18/09/2015 16:11

All was good, heard the heart beat Smile Baby quite high up, hence feeling the movement. Filled the form for the card, hopefully will get it next week.

Rooibos that's pants. I hope the appointment itself is good at least!

Thanks Sunny, I've heard that, but I'l be joining new surgery so don't want to come accross as some dodgy immigrant wanting free dental care Grin

IndomitabIe · 18/09/2015 18:22

Afternoon all.

Not sure I'll be joining the fb group. I like mn for this.

Glad your appointment went well Carrot! I remember hearing the heart beat at 16 weeks being more emotional than the scan last time (maybe I'm weird?)!

Shame about your lack of appointments Rooibos. That's really quite terrible. Did someone upthread mention seeing your GP for antenatal care? Might be worth a go?

I like that Thursday and Sunny have been feeling things early. I'm fairly sure I've felt some turning-type movements. Like a change in pressure in my pelvis, sometimes some nudging. I've felt reassured by it anyway! Though I know I've "felt movements" when I definitely wasn't pg too!

My DS screening came back as 1:7000 - low, but not as low as I was hoping for. But still, seems to be one less thing to worry about.

Spotting has stopped - some slightly tinged CM today (a minuscule gusset-stain, if you'll excuse the TMI!) and nothing on wiping (maybe a little discoloured this morning, but nothing now). Seems to have been the residual of the 'pink' I had on Wednesday. Very pleased it didn't escalate (or hasn't so far).

My 16wk appointment isn't till 9/10, 20 week scan is 5/11.

hufflebottom · 18/09/2015 19:33

Hi Indomitable, ????Not long to go till the 9/10. My 20 week scan is coming round quite quickly. That's on the 5/10. ????Need some ideas for my GTT and what to do for 2 hrs. Short of filling my kindle with books. I'm going to get so bored. I don't do sitting down for too long. ??

IndomitabIe · 18/09/2015 20:56

Aargh, sorry I've got my threads mixed up. Been lurking around this one but not posting much. Still, most of it is logical and stands!

hufflebottom · 18/09/2015 21:16

Smile ????Lol, thing is it made total sense. ??

hufflebottom · 18/09/2015 21:17

Why does it keep adding question marks? ????Really confused Confused

IndomitabIe · 18/09/2015 22:04

I thought the question marks was you being confused at my slightly out-of-context post! Glad it's not! But also, no idea why, sorry!
