Hiya - just thought an alternative place for those of us on our 2nd or more pregnancies might be a good idea. I just found out and already it's very different than the first time!

I'm on #2, EDD 25/3/16, one DS 2yrs and 2 months.

Oh no Thursday, that's such a sad one I have to turn it off. I usually turn ad breaks off anyway after I cried watching one about a donkey sanctuary when I was pregnant with DS. I think charities make most of their donations from pregnant women

I crying at everything. I'm normally a hard nut so I'm sure its amusing for folks at the moment. I cried at In the Night Garden Live for goodness sake!

At 2.6 yo DS isn't into ITNG anymore - we thought that obsession was going to run and run and run...
He loves Mister Maker now - I'm thinking to taking him to see him, but it's in March next year...

Had my 12(13) week scan on Thursday, all good, measuring 6 days ahead, so EDD moved to 4th of March. My 20w scan will be on 16th of October, at bang on 20 weeks. 16w MW appt booked already too in 2 weeks' time.

Anyone got/booked their flu jab yet?

Congrats on the successful scan carrot ! Nice to be moved forwards too I bet.

I happened to spot the flu jab signs when I was at the docs recently so have got mine booked for first weekend in October I think. Getting rather sick of needles!

Congrats lod and carrot! I had mine today too and all looked fine, phew! Baby slept through the whole scan, so we're hopeful this one may be a sleeper I was surprised at how different to DD this baby looked, comparing their scans.

Oh yes must book my flu jab too. And my 16 week appt.

qwerty I'm crying at all kinda weird shit, including Angus, Thongs and Snogging. Am gonna blame the hormones for the fact I was watching it in the first place and really enjoyed it

Crispy that's ace! It's not even a sad film is it? I had the news on in the car driving home tonight & was sobbing about the refugee crisis. Obviously it is really sad but I looked completely unhinged.

Insomnia has now struck - I've been awake for the past week at half 3. Grrr.

Great to hear scans are going well. Only a week til mine.

Strangely my insomnia has died down but has been replaced with the maddest dreams. I feel like I.must be thrashing around in bed because one crazy dream leads into the next crazy dream into the next. Last night i had a magic car key that opened every car in the world!

I'm not having nightmares, but my dreams are crazy vivid. Despite waking up for a wee a hundred times a night, luckily I'm still so tired I go straight back to sleep after.

Great news crispy! Sounds like you might be on for a DS if the babies look so different? My blob has a big round boy head just like DS's so I think I'm destined for a house full of boys

Good luck thursday and qwerty! I too was awake at 3.30. Just couldn't get back to sleep and as a result the morning sickness was awful this morning and I've had to take the morning off work. Can anyone remember if the insomnia lasts the WHOLE pregnancy? I know I had it badly towards the end, but don't remember it in the 2nd trimester?

Thursday you might have your scan before me at this rate! LOD you might have a challenger; 3 hours?! I'm going to burst in a minute

Think I had insomnia most of the way through but I didn't feel too bad as I had the luxury of napping on the sofa. No chance this time round. Hope your feeling better Crispy

crispy I have to admit to having a bit of a soft spot to Angus, Thongs.. haha think I even went to watch it in the cinema though in my defence when it came out I was in my early 20s

14+1 now and sickness finally going. finally! still exhausted but feel like I'm turning a corner and expecting a relapse in the next week or so to bite me in the arse. DP is away this week so really hoping this feeling of normalness continues!

another one suffering from insomnia here :( and on the days when I don't wake up at 4am, DD decides to wake up extra early at 5... sigh

Just had a letter through for another 2 scans after my 20 week one.

Had to phone to change one though as it was on the same time as my GTT.. Whoops.
Thing is it's now an after school one. I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to take dd. she's 5. I'm already having to ask one mum to take her to school that morning I feel bad asking her to pick her up too.

My insomnia was really bad, it took ages to fall asleep first thing and whenever I woke up. I think it's slowly going though, maybe I just got to too exhausted point.

had mine yesterday - moved forward 2 days. I was so anxious forgot to ask for a photograph - am so annoyed with myself! Now an anxious wait to see if am high risk ( am 40 and had a stillbirth). next scan is the anomaly/20 week one.

Is it 16 weeks we see a midwife? I have not seen one yet, just a scan at 8 and 11+5 weeks. So guess need to see if can book one ( if not all slots taken!)

Nope! I was finally seen at 11.15 thought my bladder was going to explode! Had loads gagging about to do afterwards so didn't get back til half 12.

All good have been moved forward to the 23rd (3 days) although baby was lying upside down so not sure how accurate it is.

Feel a bit more relaxed...for now!

My hospital was very efficient, although the bean tried to hide the back of his/her neck for as long as possible so it took a little longer than we'd hoped.
But baby is well and good and healthy - I've been put forward to 13+4 though I don't hold much faith with EDDs to be honest.

It was lovely to see that fluttery heartbeat

I had high blood pressure with dd. so they want to do another couple of growth scans.
