Yeah I think it's a no no too but the OH can use it for me xD he needs the relaxing break just as me. He can pay for a pregnancy spa day for me in return :P

mrschatty · 17/07/2015 22:02

Oh re pelvic floor I've been so lax- I know it's weird but my mums encouraged me to do them since I was 10. I can still hold it for well over 60 seconds but I've become very lax need to do some more.
Got my pram it's great looks so Cosy and so easy to put up and down took me 2 minutes to go for completely flat to build up with car seat secured in- silver cross 3d. Car seat for who was asking mine uses both isofix or seat belt so that's good cos my car is ancient. I hope everyone is well looking forward to the weekend xx

coffeenut · 18/07/2015 05:08

That interactive baby growing link is fascinating!

Pelvic floor - yes the hormones will make it way more lax. Still worth doing kegels but don't panic if they feel weaker than usual. My cousins wife thought her waters had gone in third tri but really was just wee leaking!

Great news on the scans brickie, looking and romeo!! And congrats on team blue looking!

Freezing again here today. Already dreaming of summer with a crisp sav blanc.

lutrinae · 18/07/2015 07:56

Aloha oh he naps fine. Just doesn't sleep through the night - never has Confused

lutrinae · 18/07/2015 07:59

My pelvic floor is awful, after DC1. I can never remember to do the exercises though!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 18/07/2015 08:03

Must remember to excercise my pelvic floor!

Got my results through yesterday from my Down's screening. Nice and low, a 1 in 6300 chance. Found something in my notes saying NT was 1.4. Feel relieved about that now! Smile

mrschatty · 18/07/2015 08:32

maybe when did you have your scan mine was a week yesterday still no results which I know ie a good thing they said higher risk will hear quickly but I just want to know!

mrschatty · 18/07/2015 08:33

Oh and p.s wonderful news maybe

Lookingforadvice123 · 18/07/2015 08:45

mrschatty the letters for the screening results differ so much, I had mine a week to the day after the scan, but friends who are also pregnant and had their scans a few weeks before mine didn't get their letter for weeks! Rest assured you would've heard by now if you were high risk, so you must be low risk. Yey!

Lookingforadvice123 · 18/07/2015 08:46

Thanks coffee! Excited to be having a little fella Grin and feeling all smug that my "mother's instinct" was spot on, nothing to do with the fact that it's a 50/50 chance I'm sure Wink

mrschatty · 18/07/2015 08:59

looking thanks- ill continue to wait! And congratulations on team blue how lovely. My mother's instincts are also saying blue to me!! Better be as cannot get a girls name we agree on!

Lookingforadvice123 · 18/07/2015 09:21

Thanks mrschatty so happy! Boys' names are harder for us, there's one we both love (Seth) but I'm adamant we have a little list as I don't want to be set on it before he's born in case it doesn't suit, we've got a couple more, one is more my choice really I don't think DH is fussed, and then the other we both really like (Lucas) but it doesn't go so well with out surname which starts with an 'S'. Worried people will think it's Luca!

dinosaurdaughter · 18/07/2015 09:22

maybe good news on your results. I had my scan on the 2nd July and still no letter yet but they said three weeks if low risk.
I'm thinking its a boy this time but having seen all the girls clothes we have stored in the loft a girl would be a lot cheaper Grin

coffeenut · 18/07/2015 09:29

dinosaur that made me laugh. I'm getting excited about getting rid of my million and one tiny girls' things! Would've been cheaper to have another girl though for sure.

Love the name Lucas. DD1 goes to preschool with a lovely Lucas.

coffeenut · 18/07/2015 09:30

We have a shortlist of boys names now but none of them really feel right Sad We can't have a one syllable name as it just doesn't fit with our long clunky surname. And many lovely boys' names we know have been taken!

mrschatty · 18/07/2015 09:34

Dh has had his little heart set on a particular boys name for as long as I've known him...He won't even consider another...just as well its one I like too!!

nicnicspicnic · 18/07/2015 09:45

It does seem like there are going to be a lot of boys born in January! I finally told my 3 DS about the baby and they were really excited. It was so sweet. My middle son wants to know if he can teach the baby how to play football. I said we'll give him a year and then he can. They are all a bit obsessed with thinking of names and we've had some unusual suggestions such as Roger, Geoff and Bob. Don't think we'll be going with any of those! (Sorry if anybody likes those...) I said we'll think about names in December and hopefully come up with a few more suitable ones. It doesn't help that we've used up 9 favourite boys names already as each DS has 2 middle names.

Anyway enjoy the sunshine this weekend. Smile

mrschatty · 18/07/2015 10:05

Aw nic that's so cute! Roger isn't too bad actually!
I can't believe I was talking about my risk results earlier THEY HAVE JUST ARRIVED 1 in 37000!!!!!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 18/07/2015 10:12

OMG. I read this poem this morning. Tear-jerker alert!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 18/07/2015 10:31

Very cute nicnics.

Great results MrsC

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 18/07/2015 10:34

mrschatty Great news, you're even lower risk than me! My scan was on the 8th. 6 weeks yesterday until the 20 week scan, time is going to drag so much. I still can't stop staring at the photo from last week Grin

tinyme135 · 18/07/2015 10:35

Me and the OH have already thought of the names if it's a girl or boy. And I got a feeling that this little one will be a boy going by both my side and his side of the family. He a shock if it's a girl xD

What you lovely ladies up to this weekend?

MissMartin10 · 18/07/2015 10:42

i think mines going to be a girl Smile not that i mind either way!

tiny my plans are to take my baby bunnies to the pet shop to be sold .. & go to the trafford centre to buy some more baby outfits Grin

Then relax... what about you? Smile x

Blackandwhitecat3 · 18/07/2015 10:43

Tiny there are so many things I'd like to get done this weekend - gardening, shopping, knitting, walking, tidying, think about next week's holiday, send birthday cards etc. etc. but I've woken up feeling nauseous and don't really know what I'll be able to do!

How about you?

tinyme135 · 18/07/2015 10:47

At the moment I'm at work till 1 then I dunno what I'm doing today haha. Tomorrow I'm off out with my nan to go strawberry picking and then resting me thinks.
