Wow, busy chatty ladies! So much to catch up on.
Congrats on all the positive scans and results and sorry for those having worries. Fx for you all Flowers
12 weeks today by my adjusted dates and 2nd attempt at NT scan next Thursday. I'm also under consultant care, and need to be scanned every 4 weeks from 20 weeks on. It's good to get updates on the bump so frequently with the extra risks for both me and the bump, but a teeny bit frustrating being at the hospital so much.
Shouldn't complain though! Smile

Scan all OK. Baby was asleep so took almost half an hour to get all the measurements but NT thingy was fine I think (2.1?), and heartbeat etc. all OK :)

Good news about scans today.
Thanks for the new thread!
We haven't DTD since I did the pregnancy test. Just too scared to, hopefully I'll feel a bit more up for it further along. Hope so anyway! Wink

It's exciting with all these scans. It makes it a bit more real. Still waiting for Harmony results here and it was 10 days today.

I've got such an easy commute - I could walk it if I was on time but it's 2 mins in the car, right opposite the sea. I know I'm a bit spoilt and I really feel for anybody commuting across London at the moment.

Yay for all who have had lovely scans today.
Can't wait to see some pump photos.
hehehehe to the lady falling asleep during foreplay and forgetting about it hehehe your poor DH ego Grin
With DD, toward the end I had a midwife appointment and she thought I had preaclamcia (sorry spelt wrong) so she sent me to the hospital, I had to get the bus, by the time I got to the stop I was a worried, huffing and puffing, sweetie mess, as I got on the bus everyone seamed to get up and stand right at the back of the bus, and they all watched me, I must have looked a right state and as if I was going to give birth right then and there Grin was very funny.
I also went over due so did lots of walking, on my due date i went food shoping and a lady asked when I was due, as I told her today she went in to panic mode and shoved us to the front of the cue, I have never got such lovely service and out of a shop so fast, was really fun would recommend it just so you can see people's faces like your going to give birth then and there (if only) hehehe

Wow this thread moves fast. Sorry to all the London commuters who struggled today. I worked from home but I did put my badge on yesterday for the first time and everyone was fab. One guy stood up immediately. It helps that my bump is huge already and I had a tight dress on so no risk of faking it. I was very reluctant to wear it but having nearly fainted in a national trust property earlier in the month and all the fuss that caused I thought it was safer to wear the badge and not risk delaying anyone's journey by getting sick on the tube.

Just logging in the new thread :)

I too would love to see everyone's bump pictures :)

I'm sure mine is excess fat from dc1 and dc2 :(

Scan tomorrow, who's with me?

I've already cracked the badge out, had it from last time! My train is t that busy but I'm so sick and dizzy from the vomming I def need a seat. I felt so sorry for the girl that gave me her seat on the really hot day last week - the train was packed and kept stopping, it took ages. I offered her a face wipe at least :)

Thanks brickie and treenie.

Welcome back chatty! Hope you had a great hol.
You're definitely not alone with baby brain. Decided topick DH up from work with the dog today and go straight to local country park for a walk to clear the head. Took him a change of clothes so he could get out of work things. 10 mins in and in middle of the park he says "what's up my sleeve? Feels funny", then started pulling something out - picture a magician doing the drawn out handkerchief out of the fist trick... And it was a pair of my knickers! Giant, comfy, preggo woman knickers! How did I manage that?! He looked like a right pervy weirdo in the park, holding a big pair of my crackers looking bemused. Laughed so much.

Valancy we've clearly swapped lives, I am a Yorkshire girl born and bred but moved to London 4 years ago..... Luckily I can drive to work but DH has to get tube/train and bus.

Brooke, Phizz is right - mine is at 2pm! Already wondering how I'm not going to need to wee! Lol!

Fish I have a blood clotting disorder (APS/ Hughes Syndrome), that was discovered after I had a stroke at 7 weeks pregnant in my last pregnancy. I need blood thinning injections throughout pregnancy (on warfarin usually but had to change when TTC) and aspirin. APS can restrict growth so need growth scans every month. I have minor epilepsy as a result of the stroke and meds can cause problems with bump's development so need detailed heart scan at 24 weeks.
All well otherwise though, and I've managed to miss most other symptoms like morning sickness etc so I'm pretty lucky really. Smile
Last pregnancy ended with an amazing and healthy DS who is 3 in October after a pretty awful pregnancy so looking forward to an easier run this time with an equally lovely, healthy wee one at the end of it all!

Massive sympathy for anyone having to take the tube, I really don't miss it at all. I think it's a total lottery between tube lines/areas as to whether people give up their seats or not but I can't imagine doing that kind of commute pregnant, hats off to you!

I've been back to the Smoke twice since becoming pregnant, and I can't even face the tube off-peak - just too noisy, smelly, hot and above all bumpy! I defo need to sit down a lot more than before I was pregnant too.

Right now I have a 20 min drive to work, but even the bumps in the road make me feel ill. Just glad there's no one next to me to see my face!

Peeps if you update your stats, I don't mind reordering by EDD every week or so.

Thanks teenie and brickie for the new thread and link.

Hello new thread!

If anyone's looking for maternity wear, JoJo Maman Bebe have got a sale on at the moment. I may have bought quite a lot (online) during my lunch break Blush I need some work stuff! My sister returned my maternity clothes and added hers in, and between us we have about 15 navy and white striped t-shirts... Might need to branch out!

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow too. I outed myself to the biggest gossip at work today, so I'm sure the entire staff knew by home time. I was going to wait until after my scan next Wednesday, but he asked me outright and I don't like lying.
