Aloha I also keep dreaming of 1 night on a hotel. What a luxury that would be!

Forgot how knackering pregnancy was, especially running round after a toddler. A toddler who doesn't sleep Shock

MissMartin10 · 17/07/2015 17:06

im going to ask a slighty embarrassing question but it's only because for some reason in the last 2 weeks its happened to me a few times Blush
has anyone wee'd alittle from throwing up or sneezing.. i can't stop it from happening.. i thought i had a good pelvic floor as for years I've done kegel exercises and this is also my first baby.. dp thinks im gross, as i have the need to tell him everytime it happens Grin

frozenfairy123 · 17/07/2015 17:32

Yes I have leaked loads when vomiting but only during pregnancy. I actually do lots of pelvic floor all the time but I think the muscles are just more lax with the hormones. Keep doing your exercises so it doesn't get worse! Xx

tinyme135 · 17/07/2015 17:33

I'm guilty of it too haha. When I was waiting for my 12 week scan I kept laughing cause I was nervous and all you saw was me do the oops advert face and OH just burst out laughing.

tinyme135 · 17/07/2015 17:35

MissMartin yeah I've got a brochure in my bag of somewhere like that but a tad cheaper. When I finish work ill let you know of the company so you can go have a look. If you have an apartment on one of their sites it's like just under £200 for two people.

brickiemum2 · 17/07/2015 17:49

I had my scan this afternoon and all looks good (fingers crossed) Baby active and growing. No signs of further hematoma or bleeding under placenta. Still a waiting game but they said to be positive.

tinyme135 · 17/07/2015 17:58

That's great news brickie

And MissMartin it's called hoseasons

Joey0805 · 17/07/2015 17:59

I'm 15+2 and haven't felt anything yet...getting bigger though, people are starting to notice if I don't have a strategically placed scarf in the way. I'm not ready to be big yet!

kep1979 · 17/07/2015 18:01

Fantastic news brickie Grin

Joey0805 · 17/07/2015 18:01

Teenie - re wedding outfit, if you've got good legs I'd actually be tempted to go for something really short but sort of floaty that skims off the boobs...later in pregnancy I think we'll all be living in comfy maxis but right now for me at least they make me look a bit chubby whereas my legs and arms look same as normal so short and not tight is the way forward for me at the moment!

melonface · 17/07/2015 18:17

There must be something in the water in our neck of the woods....We've had 3 pregnancy announcements in our group of friends today! If I was still ttc it would have pushed me over the edge!

Lookingforadvice123 · 17/07/2015 18:20

Great news brickie.

I also have good news from my scan this evening, everything looked totally healthy and fine, same as last time I had spotting really - no sign of anything wrong with the placenta or sac so it must be from the cervix which is hormonal. I'm 16 weeks tomorrow, baby measuring just over 16 weeks so that's reassuring too.
And...we found out the sex!!!! It's what I was convinced it was, a boy!!! Team blue Grin mad to think we know as we weren't going to find out until the 20 week scan, but she could see and I couldn't not know! So excited. Team blue!

melonface · 17/07/2015 18:24

Yey more happy news looking !

Oysterbabe · 17/07/2015 18:24

Congrats on scans and congrats Looking on team blue Smile

I've been worried about how big my bump is already and was clocking around the internet trading stuff. I found this little animation interesting, showing how the organs move around as the pregnancy goes on www.msichicago.org/whats-here/exhibits/you/the-exhibit/your-beginning/make-room-for-baby/interactive/

So glad to hear that brickie, hope you're feeling a bit more positive in time for your holiday, and fingers crossed you don't have any more worry.

Great news on the scan, too, looking!

kep1979 · 17/07/2015 18:55

Glad all was well looking and lovely that you also found out you are team blue Grin

Romeolovesjuliet · 17/07/2015 19:16

Excellent news brickie.
Our scan was great today, all fine. Got to wait for combined result but nt was 1.6.
Buggies - we have a bugaboo cameleon and a Phil and teds. Won't be getting anything new sadly but planning to get rid of the P&T as I don't like it for newborns and my friend says I can borrow her donkey if I still need a double.
Oh yes and definitely agree with the advice to keep doing your pelvic floors daily!!

Yokyil · 17/07/2015 20:39

brickie am so glad you've got some positive news today and hope you enjoy your happy hols!!
looking great news on your scan Smile go team blue!!
Speaking of pelvic floor...anything I've been reading says hold it for 10 seconds or more....flip sake I'm managing about 4/5 seconds! Confused my pelvic floor is gonna be in tatters

FizzyPinkWine · 17/07/2015 20:43

That's great news brickie. Hopefully you can relax a bit now.

MissMartin10 · 17/07/2015 20:44

Tiny oh great! thanks ill have a look Smile

dinosaurdaughter · 17/07/2015 20:55

Fantastic news Brickie and congratulations looking on joining team blue.

This thread moves so fast so a quick hello to the newbies and well done on all the scans.
I have a Bugaboo camelon too. I will probably get a buggy board for dd to stand on and I'm aiming to use a sling the rest of the time for baby.

Don't want to spoil anyone's fun with the hot tubs but I think they are a no no when pregnant.

lilyb84 · 17/07/2015 20:59

Great news on your scan romeo!

AlohaMama · 17/07/2015 21:05

Congrats on the scans brickie looking and romeo

True on the hot tub dino but you can sit on the edge and dangle your feet in!

lutrinae does your toddler never sleep or just not today? I hate days when DD doesn't nap, mainly because she NEEDS it and if she doesn't then afternoons/bedtimes are hideous.
