melonface · 09/07/2015 20:53

OOooo thanks Juniper! I like the blue and white spotty top! Might add to basket and treat myself after my scan Smile

dinosaurdaughter · 09/07/2015 20:59

I got my consultant appointment letter about 2 weeks after booking in appointment. Not sure if that helps but maybe give them a call if you are worried.

Pugmumlondon · 09/07/2015 21:02

Update on the commute from hell. 40 Min ish walk to Victoria. Queues out of this world. Currently 3hours + and not home yet. Hub now collecting me as stranded in North Finchley. So fed up and so tired I'm almost in tears. Standing outside wait rose looking bedraggled.

nicnicspicnic · 09/07/2015 21:06

Just had my Harmony results back and it's low risk. I'm so happy. Smile I also found out the sex and it's another boy. So I am going to be the stressed and harassed looking mum of 4 boys. Shock Scary!

brickiemum2 · 09/07/2015 21:20

Congrats nicnic Grin
Excuse me for not knowing (I'm technically in a different country lol) but how long is the strike on for pug ? In the future I think you would be well justified in having the day off...a commute like that is not good for your health and stress levels.

mrschatty · 09/07/2015 21:52

Wow at these bumps!!
My mum brought me a doppler home from work tonight we had a lovely listen to a very strong hb put me right in the frame of excitement for my scan tomorrow I'm planning on having a go at skull and nub theory- nub I know what I'm looking for but what's the deal with skull does anyone know? X

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 09/07/2015 22:05

mrschatty I've never heard of skull theory! I'd be interested to know so I can attempt to interpret my scan pic!

MissMartin10 · 09/07/2015 22:18

Aww cute bump oyster Smile x
Here's my bump!.. bearing in mind im pretty bloated in the evenings. Sorry it's hard to see with my black carpet lol Smile

MissMartin10 · 09/07/2015 22:20

mrschatty that's Lovley that you could hear the heartbeat Grin Goodluck with your scan tomorrow x

Readyforthefuture · 09/07/2015 22:31

Thanks for the new thread. Scan today was excellent, my wriggly one was all over the place, and the sleepy one needed some convincing to be measured. Both neck measurements were absolutely fine though - phew. While I was there they booked my 20 week scan (27th August), plus my first consultant appointment for the same day. Apparently the letters for my monthly scan will be in the post today too.

Work wise, it feels uncomfortable still there, but have spent the day building a log of events and writing notes from these meetings. Just need to decide whether to put in a formal grievance or not. To be honest I just want them to back off until I start my leave, then I can look for something else, I don't want to work with these kind of people. It's very stressful though, trying to keep things in check and remember my little priorities.

fishermanswife1 · 09/07/2015 22:33

Great bumps ladies!

I see flood, only wondered as I now need to have scans every 4 weeks too to chevk heart and growth.

B&wcat I had my booking on 1st June when we agreed I'd be shared, mw and consultant. Got my letter for consultant on 4th July for appointment on 30th. Fully consultant led now and they just said to keep the 30th July appointment. Give them a call if you're concerned.

Wynsey · 09/07/2015 22:37

Wow can't believe we're on another thread already!!

Fisherman - I laughed so much at your post!! Can just imagine your DH picking knickers out his top hahahaha

Wow Dinosaur ! That is an impressive bump!!! There's no hiding that!! Smile

Talking about hiding it - my Best Friend has been asked today by 2 people in work if I'm pregnant as I'm "piling the weight on round my middle!" And apparently 3 other people has asked one of the 2 to ask!! All the people who ask - I don't like so they're all bitches!!! My DH said - but you are so they're not wrong!! Hahaha That's not the point!!!! Phew rant over!!

Talking about DTD - thank god someone else doesn't feel like it!!! It's mainly because my boobs are so.....sore!! I just don't feel like it at all! DH sulks when he doesn't "get it" he's such a boy! Lol

I couldn't believe Coleen Rooney announced she was due in January!! I couldn't help wondering if she's on here! Lol might tweet her and see if she wants to join the group. Grin

mrschatty · 09/07/2015 22:50

Great idea wynsey let her know we don't judge and are here to be her allies in this exciting time....or just to have a giggle with ha
ready sorry to hear about your work troubles I hope your ok Flowers

Phizpop · 09/07/2015 23:01

Quite a few scans tomorrow then! My scan is at 9.25 so less than 12hrs to go!
pug i really hope you made it home in the end, your day and commute sounds horrendous. Hope you are able to rest well tonight!

Oysterbabe · 09/07/2015 23:04

Right guys I need to rein my eating in. Just watched two women on One Born giving birth to 10 pounders.

Lookingforadvice123 · 09/07/2015 23:22

Great news on all the scans!

I have a little bump, even in the morning, but it gets bigger
through the day and it's massive by the time I go to bed! I'm 14+5, had a really flat stomach before so to me its v noticeable but if you didn't know I was pregnant you'd probably think it was a pot belly!

I'm consultant led due to a cyst on my ovary (annoying, would prefer to be midwife led but hope my cyst continues to shrink and disappears by the time I give birth!) and my first appointment is Tuesday next week (I'll be 15+3). Haven't had my 20 week scan appt yet annoyingly, might chase them tomorrow.

coffeenut · 10/07/2015 04:24

oyster I don't think it makes a difference. If you make big babies, you make big babies. I found early pregnancy on the tube harder than late pregnancy. It's the dizziness, the heat/stuffiness and the nausea which take their toll. The extra weight on my feet I could cope with.

congrats nicnics! Another boy!!!! (and four of them omg!) Grin Boy name ideas please!

brickie goodness. That's lot to cope with. I hope you're feeling okay -I'm glad that baby is happy and healthy.

BeeMyBaby · 10/07/2015 06:13

There are some lovely shaped bumps already here! I've only got a bloat bump in the evening but in the morning it's gone. I thought maybe my waist was thickening a bit but just weighed myself and I've put on 3 kg in the last 6 weeks so it's definitely fat. I can't wait for the nausea to stop as I eat to feel better and I can't wait for the tiredness to stop as instead of taking my DDs to the park in the evenings like I did before I just come home and sleep.

dinosaurdaughter · 10/07/2015 07:09

Lovely to see some more bumps on here. I'm sure a lot mine is bloat especially in evenings. Congratulations nicnic on the harmony result and ready lovely news about the scan.
Sorry to hear about your horrible commute Pug I hope you have a better journey today. Good luck to all those having scans today.

Brooke113 · 10/07/2015 08:12

Been up since stupid o clock because I couldn't stop stressing about today...also had a dream baby had downs syndrome, which even if the baby did have,I wouldn't love it any less....good luck to everybody else having scans today xx

AlohaMama · 10/07/2015 08:23

Terrible bump photo taken by my 4 y o son. Bump selfies it turns out are tricky if you don't have any full length mirrors in the house!

crumble74 · 10/07/2015 09:13

Sooo busy on here, I go away to work for a few days and you're on another thread already! Thanks brickie

Sorry to hear about your worrying times fisher, I hope you get some clarification soon and a good result. I had the harmony done in Bristol so apologies for reading all this too late but good you're getting it done on Monday. All the best.

Hope I haven't missed too many scan news, congrats nicnic on the fourth boy!! It was looking a bit too pink in here Wink. Congrats also on the twin scan ready.

Good luck for your scan today brooke!

In other quick roundup news, no discernible bump at almost 16 weeks although am neither very slim nor chubby so can hide it well!
Have to tell work on Monday as I need time off on Tues for a consultant appt (I'm on daily heparin injections). It will be so awkward.

No name choices here...DH and I can't properly agree on anything yet.

SleepyDragon · 10/07/2015 09:16

Scan at 2pm.... Feel really sick and not sure if it is MS returning again or nerves. I think the latter.... Hmm
