brickie, glad they are seeing you before. Really hoping for a good outcome for you.

Yokil I'm with Kep, hot water bottle on the back of the neck really helps me and if poss a neck and shoulder rub for which I totally pull out the pregnancy card with DH

Teenie I'd say a pretty maxi dress too. I'm a bridesmaid at a wedding Saturday in long multiway dress, so going to tie it how it looks best on the day (never know with this inflating/deflating bloat) but def feel like I popped out in the last few days. I'm also going to a wedding next weekend when 16 weeks. I'm planning on a bright maxi (it's actually a monsoon beach one! But it has sequins which I figure is wedding-y and I can get away with, with a good bag and the right accessories! Think maxidress wil be more flexible for whatever shape I'm in!

Also... I'm 14+5 and totally think I felt my first fluttering last night in bed. I first puzzled over whether it was wind shifting (the glamour), but it felt really different. I never would have believed it this early! Though my mw did say she felt her first in week 14. Weird. Still not 100% sure but waiting to see if I feel any more.

fishermanswife1 · 16/07/2015 16:19

Oh and good for you tiny. I've asked for mental health help too. I've struggled before and would rather be on their radar.

kep1979 · 16/07/2015 16:24

fisher that's exciting.... and that is totally what mine feels like - I'm 13+6 and have had it for the last few days. Last time it was quite early too. It is amazing - I cannot wait until we are getting booted from the inside lol

tinyme135 · 16/07/2015 16:26

I'm worried incase if they do think it's that ill suddenly go high risk and where I want to give birth it's for low risk people.

tinyme135 · 16/07/2015 16:30

I want to feel a flutter :( all I'm getting is horrible heartburn and stomach cramps. No fair haha

SleepyDragon · 16/07/2015 16:31

Just got my NT and Patau/Edwards results back... 1/6318 Downs and 1/52333 Patau/Edwards

So happy!!!!

Romeolovesjuliet · 16/07/2015 16:32

Congrats sleepy Smile
Tiny, sounds like you are doing the right thing seeking help.
Brickie, I'm glad they are seeing you and good luck for the scan tomorrow.

Blackandwhitecat3 · 16/07/2015 16:53

I'm so excited about my bump Grin

EdgarAllenPoe · 16/07/2015 16:56

tiny Even so, it's better to get help as soon as possible and who knows, you might feel a completely different person by the time the birth comes about, then to carry on alone and it potentially get worse.

Plus any number of things could happen beyond our control to make a higher risk birth inevitable. I try not to place too much importance on the where and the how of birth. I have lots of naive optimistic, first-timer notions of how I would like things to go. But if I get to 39 weeks and the wee thing decides it's breech, I guess I'll have a c-section and be glad at least it's an option!

MissMartin10 · 16/07/2015 16:57

glad they are going to see you again to check on you Brickie x

sleepy great results Grin

Tiny i really wouldnt be concerned with it being flagged up least that way you will get all the help you need..
my mum seems to think I'll get pnd due to how emotional i am as a person.. i don't think i willHmm i have no depression .. i do suffer with stress &Anxiety and they are fully aware of that.

Everyday this week I've wanted fahitas. . my wish will be fulfilled tonightGrin

tinyme135 · 16/07/2015 16:59

That's true. I feel better talking about it even if I am going on a bit haha. And I could he worrying over nothing too.

nicnicspicnic · 16/07/2015 17:54

Marvelette and kep you're youngsters! I planned to finish having babies by 35. But 3 DS later I'm pregnant again at 41 and it was definitely not planned.

Brickie I'm glad you're being checked tomorrow. Hopefully that'll give you some reassurance and you can enjoy your holiday.

SleepyDragon · 16/07/2015 18:19

Thanks ladies!

I think I felt a flutter earlier on!!!! I was playing some music with my iPod resting on bump and the only way I can describe it is a weird tickly, ripply sensation I've never had before

DM reckons that's defo the bubba! Grin

Brooke113 · 16/07/2015 18:22

I've been saying to dp for the last few days I'm sure I've felt bean, I'm only 13w though, so a little dubious, the way I can describe it is it feels like a little fish doing little flips lol

mrschatty · 16/07/2015 18:27

Aw I'm jealous I've definitely not felt The
Baby at all!! Only 13+4 though.
I've been v organised we've bought a pram silvercross monochrome 3d travel system with car seat. Got cot-bed, unit, wardrobe all cleared out (and stocked with a few outfits) next stop crib/moses basket! What prams are you all looking at?

SleepyDragon · 16/07/2015 18:31

Brooke yes! A bit like those plastic red fish you used to get in crap xmas crackers that used to flip about in your hand!

SleepyDragon · 16/07/2015 18:32

MrsC we're looking at Silver Cross Wayfarer!

mrschatty · 16/07/2015 18:44

sleepy I really liked the wayfarer pioneer and surf. The 3d was very squishy and looked so cosy I wanted to get in there myself haha xx

Brooke113 · 16/07/2015 18:45

sleepydragon yes! I did tell the sonographer and she said because it's my third, I could definitely be feeling things this early, she made me feel like I wasn't going mad Grin I think it must be when it's turning over, that's what I think anyway :)

SleepyDragon · 16/07/2015 19:20

We looked at the Surf first MrsC but the Wayfarer has a bigger basket underneath.

Brooke well going by the music our bean loves Chas n Dave LOL!

mrschatty · 16/07/2015 19:29

Yes that was something I liked about 3d a decent basket!!

brickiemum2 · 16/07/2015 19:42

I've been feeling wee flutters since week 12 and now at 14+5 it's proper little kicks. Love it Grin When I was in hospital on Monday night the mw decided to find heartbeat with Doppler and just as she found it baby kicked the probe. I yelped and laughed and obviously she heard the impact on the monitor. She grinned and said "you're feeling kicks aren't you?"
It is my third though and I have exactly zero muscle tone Grin
I'll let you all know how the scan goes tomorrow afternoon.

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 16/07/2015 19:45

MrsC I'm very impressed with your organisation! I've only freed up a bit of drawer space so far!

I've been looking at the Oyster 2 pushchair and carrycot. Nice design, does everything I want it to, has a handle suitable for the giant DH, and can be used with a maxi cosi carseat Smile

I really want to buy a moses basket now but don't know whether it still seems a bit too early (I'm 14+2).

kep1979 · 16/07/2015 19:58

mrsc I want the Bugaboo Buffalo, not sure about the car seat yet. Although i just had an e-mail with the Silver Cross Vintage Balmoral and have fallen in lust with the turquoise one! Obviously completely impractical not to mention costly, but love it Grin

Brooke113 · 16/07/2015 20:07

Wow brickie how fab, the dc keep putting hands on my belly wanting to feel kicks, think they'll.be so excited when they can, it's my third too and my stomach muscles are non existent!
