Loving all your baby pics :) so adorable

Another quick question (your gonna be bored of me asking) I'm really struggling with my mood swings. Me and the OH went into a big row last night with him wanting to get away from me for the night. Before I had mood swings but I could control them. Now I can't and I really need help. Does anyone know where/what I can go/do?

I did nct first time around but both couples we got on well with recently moved out of London so although we still see them it's not as often anymore. We did spend a lot of time together when we had our first babies though and then me and one of the girls had our second at the same time so that was nice. I might look into a refresher course but it's an expensive way to make friends. This will be te first time I've been on Mat leave with no other friends at the same time but I'm guessing the Kids will keep me busy.
melon I wouldn't worry about feeding choices - I think most classes hold a separate breastfeeding class right at the end and I don't remember it being covered much outside of that. And out of my group we all have BF a shot but one stopped after a couple of weeks, another after a few months and I carried on for a year so there was no judgment whatsoever.

Oh juniper that is one seriously cute little bear you have there! I know that one of my friends was given a Gruffalo suit. I wish she knew where it was from as it was so adorable!

melonface · 15/07/2015 19:04

Juniper!! That is so cute I might cry. Hormones!

Great pics valancy and juniper! I absolutely love looking at scan pics now, couldn't care less before I was pregnant!

valancy yep similar crap experience at my 12 week scan, DH got to watch the whole thing, in fairness the sonographer showed me the heartbeat flickering early on but other than that and about 5 seconds at the end when I saw baby kicking it's ridiculously long legs, I couldn't turn my head to look.

melonface · 15/07/2015 20:09

Welcome Ami what a lovely clear scan picture! Smile

BeeMyBaby · 15/07/2015 20:10

juniper exactly! What better thing to do with a new baby than to dress it up as a small bear when it's called- and works for girls and boys.

BeeMyBaby · 15/07/2015 20:50

Here is my scan pic from today, the nub looks kinda going downwards in this photo but in another more blurry one/ on screen it looked about 90degrees

lutrinae · 15/07/2015 21:36

Hello there.
Just wondering if I'm too late to join this club? I'm due with my second child 23rd jan.
if so, no worries!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 15/07/2015 21:41

Hello Ami and Lutrinae, there's plenty of room on this big bus, jump on board! Congratulations Flowers

Awesome scan pics today ladies, I've had a great time catching up.

lilyb84 · 15/07/2015 21:47

Lutrinae I have a sneaky feeling we know each other. If I say bird and books...?!!!

If so this is a crazy way to find out each others' news... Grin

lilyb84 · 15/07/2015 21:48

... also congrats and welcome either way!

tinyme135 · 15/07/2015 22:14

Welcome all new ladies :) and congratulations xx

lutrinae · 15/07/2015 22:18

Oh. My. God.

This is indeed a crazy way to find out one of your friends is pregnant!!!
Congratulations to you and G! Xxxx
When are you due?

Just had 12 week scan today so haven't really told anyone but close family yet.

Thanks for welcoming me blackandwhitecat

lilyb84 · 15/07/2015 22:22

Lovely scan news today, and bee - good call on the January sales!

valancy we're due date buddies (again?) for 22 Jan Smile

Anyone else got any back pain? I've had lower back twinges since the weekend which may or may not have been made worse by some over - enthusiastic cleaning on Saturday, but tonight it's become SUPER painful and I'm struggling to walk. Travelling to Bristol from SE London tomorrow so really hoping it's gone or at least bearable by morning!

So much other news to catch up on, sorry to have missed a lot this (busy) week...

lilyb84 · 15/07/2015 22:24

Lutrinae even weirder because I was literally about to speak to G to say we should send you guys a message to let you know when I checked this board for the first time today! I'll message you off board but congrats to you both as well!

HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED BEFORE?!!

Wonder if any of you other ladies secretly or unknowingly know each other?!

lutrinae · 15/07/2015 22:24

Also wondering is anyone else in the Fife or Edinburgh area? Moved to Fife from London last year, still don't know too many people.

lutrinae · 15/07/2015 22:26

Yeah I wonder too lilyb84!
If I'd bothered to make my username more secret we might not have known for ages!

lilyb84 · 15/07/2015 22:28

I did a comical double - take when I saw it Grin

tinyme135 · 15/07/2015 22:35

lily I've had back pain on and off for about 2 weeks now and really bad hip pain on and off for a week. I look like a penguin when I walk xD

lilyb84 · 15/07/2015 22:38

Ouch, tiny - sorry to hear that. I'm certainly doing an interesting type of 'walking' this evening!!
