So sorry brickie. Praying things will work out for you. I have heard partial plancental abruptions can just stay partial and everything go fine from here on, so lets just hope that will be the case for you Flowers

Hello there. I don't think I've put my stats on here before. I'm 12 weeks today. Scan on Thursday. Edd on 25 Jan.

Having a really bad day today. Feeling like crap, crying all afternoon after a woman on the returns desk of M&S basically accused me of trying to return worn clothes. They were intentionally faded for Jeff's sake! Feeling sick as a dog.

I don't remember the first time being this bad!!!

brickie I really hope you're okay. Hospital stays by yourself are bad enough with all the stress and worry about the baby (not to mention yourself). Have the doctors given any indication of what is likely to happen? I hope the bleeding has stopped by now and you are getting some rest.

boosie sorry that you're having a tough day - it's tough to cope with that sort of rubbish at the best of times.

All this talk of putting change-mats on top of drawers is making me nervous. My babies were far too wriggly for that! We have a changing unit (bought together with cot at John Lewis) and it has been really handy. It really saves your back from bending down to bed or floor to change and the storage space underneath (shelves rather than drawers on our unit) is really handy for storing all sorts of bathing and changing paraphernalia. The one we have is really compact too so doesnt take up much room - it's similar to this: au.johnlewis.com/store/john-lewis-anna-changing-table-with-drawer-natural/p231375314

Thinking of u brickie, keep us updated xxx

brickiemum2 · 14/07/2015 05:29

Not been any increase in bleeding overnight. The doctor seems to think there are two likely outcomes. I've that this is a partial abruption and it will resolve or two that this is the beginning of the placenta failing. Either way nothing can be done and only time will tell. I'm exhausted, mainly through stress. It was so hard last night, the kids were crying on the phone because they miss me Sad We're due to leave on holiday on Friday and I'm so scared of disappointing them and not going, I know we've got far more to worry about but I still worry for my kid's feelings. They don't even know about the baby so we can't really explain.

Oh brickie, hope baby stays put and it's a partial abruption that stops now. Thinking of you! Flowers

BeeMyBaby · 14/07/2015 06:11

brickie hopefully it's a good sign that the bleeding has stopped and that there is hope. Did the Dr give you any indication of when you would know one way or the other? Are they able to do more tests today?

FizzyPinkWine · 14/07/2015 06:48

Oh brickie, it must be so hard being stuck there. I hope that the bleeding easing is a good sign. It must be difficult being in hospital with children at home who don't understand. Thinking of you! X

tinyme135 · 14/07/2015 07:00
