DH has told me I am getting fat and that I need to stop eating for 2 Angry I feel so nauseous I can barely move but really want to kick him in the balls!

jellypi3 · 06/07/2015 11:55

8rufus* tell him when he's on the verge of chundering every hour or so because hormones are making an empty stomach feel like your on a rocky boat, then he can tell you to stop eating. Until that time comes, he can shit it! I'd kill DP if he said that to me.

ATrueNerd · 06/07/2015 12:51

Mawsy I'm very worried about telling my mum too! Ridicules at our age! I think it's going to be a big shock to everyone, this was a surprise pregnancy and we'd always said we didn't want any more. My mum reacted horribly when we told her with my 2nd pregnancy, it would have been quite a small age gap between that one and dd1 but no idea why she reacted so badly, not sure if I'll ever forgive her for it, I went on to lose that baby and she did feel bad but it was very awkward telling her about dd2 a few months later. I've decided to wait as long as poss and get my kids to tell her! She can't be nasty then!

ATrueNerd · 06/07/2015 12:55

Mama I would call midwife to put your mind at rest, as others said, baby is well protected but it's better for you not to be worrying until your scan x

Hello to all the new people :) x

Spanoo · 06/07/2015 13:28

rufus you can definitely kick him in the balls for that one.

I made my DP sleep on the sofa last night because he came to bed late when I was already asleep and woke me up crashing around after he'd a few drinks. Then the nausea had started and I couldn't sleep so told him to do one. Preg-zilla over here!

Mawsymoo · 06/07/2015 14:05

Rufus that definitely calls for a kick in the balls!

ATrueNerd I wish I could get DS to tell them but he's too small. I think I'll just have to present it in a really positive light and hope my mother can save her worries for when I'm gone. Anyway, too early to worry about it yet...

rebeccax2 · 06/07/2015 14:35

Sweet Jesus. BFP here!

HerewegoagainRound4 · 06/07/2015 15:02

Hi Rebecca! Wink

HerewegoagainRound4 · 06/07/2015 15:07

Rufus if my DH said that to me he'd be crying on the floor with his bollocks stuck inside his stomach! Cheeky fuck. You do what you need to to do get though this. Xx

BananaRaces · 06/07/2015 15:34

Shock Rufus I suggest a bollockectomy!

Congrats Rebecca!! Flowers

Sorry I've been away for the last few days ladies, I've had horrific nausea coupled with diarrhoea which has been making me feel absolutely rubbish. I got quite panicky TBH, but having read up on it it looks as though some women just get this instead of constipation... Oh the joys!!! I have my booking in appointment on Wednesday, if I'm still really bad then I'll mention it to the Midwife. Can't wait to get to the end of the first trimester... Still 4 weeks to go!!

SmashleyHop · 06/07/2015 15:43

So I have finally had enough of the sickness and spoke to my GP. HE gave meds to get through the day (and actually do the dishes!) I thought I was getting over it on my own but the last few days have been even worse.

Rufus I thought my DH complaining about the state of the house was bad... If he had even mentioned my weight he would be wearing his testicles as a necklace. As it is he's licking his wounds for complaining about dishes when I can barely get out of bed.

Brummiegirl15 · 06/07/2015 16:04

I'm so fucked off - had to tell a quite gobby colleague that I was pregnant.

I'm going to an event tomorrow in London and she's given me a load of stuff to carry. I tried to get out of carrying it but she was having none of it. In that basically "what's your problem"

So I had to tell her which I'm cross about. She won't say anything but I did feel like I was backed into a corner

Littleoakhorn · 06/07/2015 16:45

Hello everyone, may I join? I'm 7+1 ish with dc2. I've finally lost most of the fear and I'm feeling horrendously, but reassuringly, sick.

Spanoo · 06/07/2015 17:50

banana I also have diarrhoea and nausea. Lovely isn't it! Welcome oak and rebecca and congrats!

jellypi3 · 06/07/2015 17:54

Welcome oak :) congratulations.

I hope the folk we've not heard from in a little while are all ok?

MayFlowers16 · 06/07/2015 18:16

10 weeks yesterday and still no news about a scan appointment. Feeling frustrated.

RattyCatty · 06/07/2015 18:18

I was wondering that too jelly hope everyone is ok.

Did anyone have a scan today?

I'm in week 10 & feel completely exhausted. Last week of school term is full on & this afternoon I nearly cried!

StockingFullOfCoal · 06/07/2015 18:21

DH walked out last Tuesday. We've had some issues since the MC (mostly my refusal to TTC again immediately) and now he's being a real wanker. I can't really go into detail. Its too much to type. But he's blocked me on everything he can and I have no way to contact him. He's had a meltdown because I said I cannot forgive his shitty behaviour again.

I had a call from the GP this morning. Picked up a script for Canesten and was told my bloods and urinalysis came back abnormal but only the MW has access and so I have to wait for a phone call tomorrow when she's in the surgery. Sad And I'm mad because I'm alone.

Oh, Stocking I'm sorry Thanks.

jellypi3 · 06/07/2015 18:30

stocking Flowers there's nothing to say to what you are going through. I'm so sorry x

Mirabal · 06/07/2015 18:53

Oh no stocking he's behaving terribly, especially when you need someone on your team. So sorry Flowers

IrisBlue15 · 06/07/2015 18:55

Hi!

BFP on Friday and only just got my head around it - little bit of a surprise but should be due mid Feb.
Just wanted to say hello!

(But also feel a bit crass being so chirpy after Stockings's post. Hope it gets much better soon.)

BananaRaces · 06/07/2015 19:06

Oh no Stocking! Shock Thanks

WombOfOnesOwn · 06/07/2015 19:09

7 weeks here, thought I was 8 until a scan, but everything seems perfect and my cycles are often long, so the date mismatch is no surprise.

SO happy to be here, 2 previous miscarriages 5 and 4 years ago make me very grateful for every wave of nausea and spell of lightheadedness!

NoMontagues · 06/07/2015 19:11

Oh stocking that's shite. Obviously you are having a very hard time emotionally. How are you on a practical level, have you got any help?

Can't remember how many DCs you already have, is it 3?
