Yay swimming for feeling rough! Grin

Plenty of time for peeps to feel rough as houses!

LillianMakesAMinion · 03/07/2015 23:49

Me too with the evening beer gut - by the end of the day I'm bulging 1-2 sizes over what I was in the morning!

haquoi123 · 04/07/2015 00:14

Congratulations brummie, I'm so so pleased for you! gold congrats also on your scan!
Welcome baby, when do you next have a scan to see?

My tummy looks like I've swallowed a dragon's egg, and it's hard and slightly tender. I felt good all day, so much so that I was panicking... And then I left it too late to eat and could barely stomach a few mouthfuls before falling asleep on the sofa. I'm another fizzy water woman. I can't seem to get a hang of my body. I crave fruit but when I eat it I feel horrendous. Crave fruit juice or squash and the same thing happens. Apart from the bloat I'm certainly losing weight. And my hayfever that I usually don't get? Aaargh!! Any safe pregnancy hayfever relief? anyone tell I'm feeling sorry for myself

Zookeeper73 · 04/07/2015 01:54

What a relief Brummie!

Great news about your scan too Goldmaple!

Fingers crossed for you Baby.

My bloating just doesn't go away at all, even in the morning it's there. It has to be bloat because I haven't put on that much weight and I'm not even 7 weeks yet!

eggsnbeans · 04/07/2015 04:52

Great news Brummie and Gold :)

Omg I am so bloated I can't even do up the button on my jeans already, and that is my fat jeans too! Not looking good for 30w time ;) I had nothing at all until 20w with Dd1!

OpposableThumbs1 · 04/07/2015 07:17

Ridiculous amounts of bloating here. And my bras are too tight. There is no way I will be able to keep this secret for another 6 weeks.

purdiepipesup · 04/07/2015 07:22

The bloat's a nightmare and doesn't turn into a respectable bump for bloody ages yet. My worst nausea is currently 4am. Horrible, bent-over-retching nausea. Cyclizine worked a treat this time, though. Then the baby woke at 4.50 Hmm

NoMontagues · 04/07/2015 07:54

My faux-bump starts right below my boobs Confused

Bouts of nausea seem to be getting fewer and further between and my appetite has returned from being awol for the last 6 weeks.

I foresee a day of face-stuffing ahead! Grin

haquoi123 · 04/07/2015 07:59

thumbs I've given up on bras entirely! I weighed comfort against style and comfort won. My boobs are quite heavy, but still more comfy than having a band pressing on my stomach

ATrueNerd · 04/07/2015 09:15

Great news Brummie and Gold! Xx

Been feeling a bit queezy since yesterday but the bloating is insane! And yes, gave up on bras a week ago, I'm normally a 32 but even 36's are uncomfortable! I am short with a very short body, "short waisted" as my mum says, can everything have started moving up already?!

Tiredoftiredness · 04/07/2015 09:29

I've lost all my bloat the last few days, so much so that I'm in my skinny jeans today, whereas last week I had to dig all my maternity stuff out. No sickness either no boobs feeing much better.

Worrying!

Rufus200 · 04/07/2015 10:59

haquoi Benadryl is safe, not sure about any other anthistamines!

tired all my bloat and nausea disappeared, my stomach went completely flat for 3 days and then it came back again!

Spanoo · 04/07/2015 11:56

So happy for brummie what a relief! Grin

I slept for AGES last night -about 11hours! Thank god as I'm going out tonight and was wondering how I was going to last past 8pm without the buzz of alcohol!

My bloat is currently not too bad but I think it's on it's way... Especially considering my new habit of getting up at 5am for a couple of biscuits each morning!

Spanoo · 04/07/2015 12:05

Also - bawled my eyes out like a baby when watching Eastenders last night! My partner had such a laugh!

We also both told our parents yesterday and I'm glad we did - as it's our first pregnancy we are naturally nervous... But we are both feeling so much more chilled knowing we have their full support.

MayFlowers16 · 04/07/2015 13:50

Rufus is Benadryl activating safe to take? it usually works wonders for my hayfever and I'm really missing it.

Ive just come back from shopping - bought some two pairs of summer trousers in the next size up and some loose tops. Bliss!

MayFlowers16 · 04/07/2015 13:51

Acrivastine, not activating. Bloomin' autocorrect.

Brummiegirl15 · 04/07/2015 14:13

I bought a couple of maternity vests in H&M today just thought sod it as they were £6 each but refuse to wear until past 12 wks.

I did though try some maternity trousers on , they were over the bump and oh my god they were so comfy!! And they fitted - already at only 9+3 Blush

I refused to buy those though

MayFlowers16 · 04/07/2015 14:19

When I was pregnant with dd I bought several loose fitting non maternity tops in a bigger size and managed to avoid buying too many maternity clothes. Definitely got my wear out of my maternity trousers though. Tip: don't buy too much in the first few months as I needed a bigger size (even on maternity) towards the end of the pregnancy. Dd was big though, but I only put on a normal amount of weight.

Rufus200 · 04/07/2015 14:24

mayflower acrivastine says it hasn't been tested in pregnancy. Diphenhydramine which is in normal Benadryl is safe.

MayFlowers16 · 04/07/2015 14:33

Thanks Rufus Smile

Mumof1sofar · 04/07/2015 15:24

Thanks all for the replies. I'm not averse to the dildo cam, just thought it might feel a bit uncomfortable?

Wrt maternity clothes I've already dug mine out at 7 weeks! I've also bought a couple of pairs of amazingly comfortable harem trousers from next - they have a stretchy waistband so I'm hoping I can wear them well into pregnancy Smile

Brummiegirl15 · 04/07/2015 16:59

Not at Mum if anything it's more comfortable than the Sonographer pressing on your full bladder!!!

Tiredoftiredness · 04/07/2015 18:50

I really want a glass of ice cold rose wine. That's all I have to say today!

LillianMakesAMinion · 04/07/2015 19:16

So after feeling pretty good about my spy skills in covering up my pregnancy (from touching a glass of wine to my lips without drinking to ordering a sparkling wine with lime which passed for g&t)... got outed at lunch today within a second of asking for a steak well done.

Ah well at least once it was out in the open I could talk about it!

MayFlowers16 · 04/07/2015 19:27

That's what I have bought too Mumo. It's great when what's in fashion is also good for hiding bumps. Tunic tops were my saviour last time. It's quite exciting talking maternity wear already

Definitely a give away Lillian, You'd never want a well done steak normally hey?! Grin I agree though, it is a relief once you've told a few people.
