RH- if your desperate for baby names don't go and buy books look on the net there are millions of pages if you google baby names.
Thats what I've been doing most of today instead of working .
Have come up with 2 blue names (haven't run them by DH yet) but I don't really want anyone to think that we have named one of our beans after them, what to do?!?

Forgot to welcome wilderbeast and eca, sorry! Total lack of any memory at the mo!
I am in the last module of my degree and attempting to write my dissertation which is not going at all well just now so I know where you are coming from.

Sympathize with everyone who is trying to think of names. Pink ones are easy, but we used our bestist names for boys with DS, so if the new one is a boy I am not sure what we'll go with. I think baby names books are easier in a way than the internet, as you don't get distracted by the Top 100 list and so on, and can go with what you really like. To complicate matters, the new name needs to have literary connotations, as DS's name does, and for me it is important. So not only do I need to love the name, I need to love a novelist/character/poet Got the feeling I'm making this hard for myself?

Anyway, reason for posting is that someone earlier requested a new thread, as this is too large for her to access at home. Good idea, I thought, but I don't know how. Any takers?

Evening all!

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow twinkle - will be thinking of you honey!!

If you do want to buy a Baby Names book, may I recommend the one they sell in Marks and Spencer?? It is cheap (about £2.99) and small and I found it v.comprehensive. DH and I have definite willy and hamburger names this time - we decided to sit down and decide for definite as we've had a boys name for yonks and yonks and not a single girls name ..... and so far we've ended up with two pinks!!!!! So we're sorted on that count, just gotta deal with car seat and pram issues and we'll be laughing ....... oh yeah, not to mention the whole "having a house to live in" thing .... Eeeeek!

I think Hector is fab, Cornflake - I'll see what DH thinks ....... He said: "Erm. Mmmmmmmm. " Thought so.

I'll start a new thread .....
