Evening ladies, hope you all had a nice weekend. MIAM you dad sounds wonderful, really pleased that things are coming together for you!!

I've been down in the north-east visting my parents, and Leeds visting my aunt.. busy busy weekend. Plenty of bump feeling.. although I dont mind very much when its family..

Date is either 30th/1st.., scan is booked for the 7th.. oh btw I fogot to tell you that we have changed from the Nuffiled to that place over at Livingston, its £50 cheaper, and they sounded pretty good on the fone, plus its a lot easier to get to than the other side og Glasgow.

Oh nealry forgot major drama over the weekend - was driving down to mums, too fast, as per normal for me, guy in front slammed his brakes on for some reason, I slammed mine on but as it was so wet I skidded right into the back of him and shunted him into the car in front - gave myself such a fright!!! Not a huge amount of damage to any of the cars but enough to have to claim on my insurance... £400 excess too which is great. Was so worried about the baby, luckily I had my doppler thing with me so I had a listen last night and this morning and the little one sounds just fine. Just had to keep reminding myself that mothers go through a lot worse and their babies are fine.. am going to drive a lot more carefully from now one!!

scan this week (i think - maternity memory though, had better check) don't want to know what flavour it is, I have 2 blue and know that everyone will say 'oh are you disappointed ' if we get another - which of course we won't be!!! I love my boys, a girl would be good too, I can honestly say I'm not bothered. Honestly! Although it would be easier for all the sympathetic people if I was a 'success' at having at least one of each. It's funny how people think isn't it.

Evening All,

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to all the 20 week scans which are coming up.This thread moves far too fast for me to keep up,but I like to pop in every now and then to say hello.Everything is good here and looking forward to our scan on the 7th Dec,to find out hopefully the sex of the baby.Tomorrow is a big day here in the Bubbaloo household-we are buying Ds a bed,so tonight is his last night in his cot.Just hope we're doing the right thing as he's only 17 months oldbut at least Dh is off work all next week,just incase.

GMM - oh how scary for you. Glad everything is ok and that you've got your doppler to listen to the heartbeat for reassurance.

Bugmum - really feel for you about the jabs. I remember feeling like the worst mum. I tried to make myself feel better by reminding myself that it is better for them to be a bit poorly afterwards than to get any of the diseases they are immunising against. Be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope your DS doesn't get too poorly.

Awwww MIAM, bless your father, warms me cockles, that does!! Enjoy the camcorder - didn't film my births, but do have piccies of babies coming out etc - love having them, don't find it embarassing at all!

Hope all goes well with DS in his bed, bubba - thinking about taking the plunge with DD2 (18m) soon. DD1 was in a bed at 2 and have had no probs at all. It would be nice if they could play together properly in the mornings etc - although DD1 is VERY sweet, entertaining DD2 and passing her toys through "the bars"!!

Hello to all newies. As you can tell, we are a very, very chatty bunch

Miam - what a wonderful dad! A camcorder is a truly wonderful invention (as long as I'm not in front of the lense iykwim), and its always good to treat yourself

We're debating the cot to bed scenario too. More so for me than him, because with my ever expanding bump, I'm having difficulty putting him in, and getting him out of the cot!

For everyone having scans this week - enjoy them, and I hope you get the flavour you want.
