I have no feeling whatsoever about which sort mine is; last time, I was certain almost from seeing the two lines on the pregnancy test that I was having a blue one, and I was right, but of course I did have a one-in-two chance of being so, therefore it's not that amazing

I will be GUTTED if I am not able to find out for some reason, such as the baby facing the wrong way, as I am another list writer and want to Get On (eg sort out DS's outgrown clothes, see how much I can keep and so on)

Welcome eca, sorry to hear about your sickness its horrible isn't it, mine started to get better about 14 weeks and im now down to just being sick in the morning which i can cope with but still not much fun. Glad your starting to feel abit better and hopefully it should continue to pick up abit and its all worth it in the end , most of the time anyway

Bugmum I'm the s\me now i've finally decided I do want to know the sex I really want to know so knowing my like bean will be facing the wrong way and we wont find out!

Bubblez I dont know why they think its easier 2nd or 3rd or however many more time. Sleep deprivation is still sleep deprivation no matter how many times you've had it before and its not so easy to 'sleep when the baby sleeps' when the toddler wants to play jump on mummys head or draw mummy a lovely picture - on the wall! And pain is still pain!
But if you have to stay in because you and baby are so delicate and sensitive and at risk then that sounds like a very good argument as to why you should just lie on the sofa and not be expected to do anything you dont want to, just in case! And if dp agrees then he cant really argue can he

CD - he has redeemed himself slightly as he went out with dd and swept up all the leaves on the driveway and has made a nice fire in the lounge, so I'm cooking us a lovely chicken casserole at the mo as that was what he fancied. I think I got my revenge by sending dd upstairs, and her rendition of jingle bells was pure class! Am about to settle down in front of the fire now and put mt feet up - bliss!

Am just wondering, I need to compile some Christmas shopping lists this weekend - what are you hoping for for yourself this Christmas, and what are you buying the DPs/DHs? (dd is sorted btw, kids are so easy and so much fun to buy for).

I def felt my bean move properly today!!!!!!! it is really really strange - like an inside tickle or really soft fingertips dnacing across the inside of my tummy! guess that means theres a baby in there

Having a really lovely weekend with my mum and dad over from ireland. just know i will cry my eyes out 2morro at lunchtime when they leave.... but inly 4 weeks til i'm travelling hoem for xmas x

I live just outside Bath - Bristol about 30 minutes away - I like shoping in Bath rather than Bristol - but Cribbs Causeway does have some different shops like John Lewis and H&M - and supervised soft play if need to shop on my own!

DH says we are going to have a productive day today - cheeky bugger - yesterday I cleaned house, did washing, emptied spare room for baby stuff and looked after boys most of the day. he played golf - enough said!

Time for cup of tea and toast....baby hungry!

I am near Bristol (in a village just outside of Portishead).

Bath does have lovely shops indeed and the park is lovely. We used to live on the Bath side of Bristol and went there nearly every weekend in the summer but it is a bit too far now, Cribbs is right on my doorstep though.

If you fancy meeting up, there is a brill softplay called Jump near ToysRUs/Asda? Maybe when the babies have come...
