Hi all,

Glad I found this bus. I am 43 and think about 4+6

I got my bfp on Thursday, this is my second pregnancy, my first ending in MMC on Christmas Eve. I am with Charlotte here, absolutely petrified.

The first time, I never felt pregnant, well not much! This time, and I so hope it's a good omen, I feel like I have constant travel sickness which comes and goes, and today I have major bloating which I never thought was a symptom. Also had some heartburn today, but that was after a tuna sandwich on white!

However the thing that concerns me is every time I go to the toilet, I feel the need to wipe and look, I'm even making excuses to go, it's like I have to double check all the time. Plus (and sorry if this is tmi), my discharge seems a bit watery, making me feel a bit moister! Is this normal, it's not offensive or anything so no worries about infection or anything!

I am going to do what someone said above and tell myself that I am pregnant today!

Welcome newbies!

I really am loving this thread.

I think I'm starting to get more symptoms... Feeling really exhausted, almost like I've had no sleep. Plus had a moment earlier where I felt quite spaced out? Anyone else had that? Think I'm 6 weeks this week. Toying with the idea of doing another evil cb digital but not sure I can take the stress!

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 20:05

Congratulations lilymog. Yes, more discharge is normal. And you're not the only one running to the loo every few minutes to check Blush

Lilymog · 08/06/2015 20:07

Thank goodness I'm not the only one May! My nipple are really itchy as well. They feel heavy but instead of feeling like they been rubbed with a Brillo, I'd love to take a Brillo to mine! Weird or what.

StockingFullOfCoal · 08/06/2015 20:12

waves Hello Grin I got my BFP on Friday! A little stunned. Had a MC back in December, had a little break Jan-March, my March/April/May cycle was 57 days long, LMP 13th May, I was going OPKs every day and OVd earlier than usual (CD10!) so when my bewbs decided they weren't going to fit in my bra and I was exhausted, figured I'd better POAS. EDD 17th February 2016.

I'm 28, this will be baby #3, I have 2DDs 6 & 4, a DSS 12 and 1 grumpy DH.

Just booked an appointment with GP (not my GP, my GPs, all 3 of the, have left the surgery this month so I have no idea who I am actually seeing this Thursday!) to confirm/sort booking, living in a different area to where I had my DDs so I have no idea what protocol is here for MW apps etc.

I'm going to nip back and read through the thread Flowers Grin

StockingFullOfCoal · 08/06/2015 20:14

Lilymog I highly recommend "best shit grass" thread, I joined them when I MCd in December and I've finally moved onto the grads thread, they're a wonderful bunch.

purdiepie · 08/06/2015 20:26

Can someone tell me it's normal to lose my nausea for a full day? Sad

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 20:31

Purdie I think it can happen, yes. I felt absolutely dreadful at the weekend but have felt a lot better today - still nauseous but not nearly as bad as two days ago. You have other symptoms still though?

Mawsymoo · 08/06/2015 20:31

Ladies step away from the digis! They are such a marketing ploy - a way to keep us buying tests after we have already got the bfp (and bloody expensive tests at that!). The accuracy of hpts is based solely on the positive/negative result and nothing else. I think they should be banned for all the anxiety they cause.

Welcome to all the newbies!

purdiepie · 08/06/2015 20:34

May, my sore nipples are no longer sore. I am feeling afraid and sad.

WizardSong · 08/06/2015 20:35

I'm always checking when I'm at the loo too.. Just want these first weeks to whizz by.

Have just been looking at fun ways to announce your pregnancy which has cheered me up Smile

christianmum2015 · 08/06/2015 20:36

Hi all!

My first time on here and I'm expecting my first DC. I'm 29, EDD is 2nd Feb, sore boobs, very tired and few things tasting a bit funny but no sickness yet-- waiting for it to start as my mum had nausea really bad with me.

Got my first midwife apt next week which is exciting. Is another else thinking of having a water birth?

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 20:38

Oh Purdie, try to stay positive. Symptoms can wax and wane, especially so early on. One day doesn't mean anything. Early pregnancy is such a stressful time. Flowers

StockingFullOfCoal · 08/06/2015 20:42

christian Yes, I am! I had planned it with my DDs but the plan was scrapped quite early on with DD1 due to complications (prem labour) and DD2 due to pre eclampsia so needed to be monitored throughout, but both were pretty chilled, non invasive labours.

I'm going for a home birth this time round - 1st labour was 94 mins and 2nd 40 mins.... I think I'd end up giving birth in the car if I tried to get to hospital this time! DH reckons he won't get time to fill the pool up Grin (we're going to buy one)

surferchic41212 · 08/06/2015 20:43

Welcome new ladies!
Purdie, I'm sure all is fine- prob tomorrow all the symptoms will be back..
I feel pretty nervous at the moment tbh.. Last time I had sore boobs from day of bfp, whereas this time I've had nothing.. Slightly bloated, but nothing otherwise.. Had a blood test today and have another Wednesday to check hCg levels.. Then early scan week on Friday.. Just don't 'feel' pregnant.. Is anyone else feel like that? I hope all is fine, but it's just a nervous time... Confused

StockingFullOfCoal · 08/06/2015 20:44

christian Also I attend Calvary Chapel and am being baptised this summer... Drop me a PM if you want to talk!

purdiepie · 08/06/2015 20:48

Thanks for reassurances and thanks for the flowers, lovely May.

Christian and Surfer, I am a Christian and attend an evangelical church.

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 20:48

Don't panic Purdie, wasn't it someone on here who talked to their doctor sister who said it's normal, our hormones are fluctuating (perfectly normally) and so will our symptoms!

Fx for your blood tests surfer!

Is 9 an acceptable time to go to sleep?

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 20:49

Oh heck, I'm gonna have to give birth again Confused

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 20:50

Don't panic us first timers May Grin I am blotting out that bit and just picturing myself with a beautifully behaved baby playing in our garden next summer :)

elephantfeet · 08/06/2015 20:50

Surferchic I am also without symptoms bar the odd twinge in my tummy...I have a scan on Thursday and it can't come soon enough! I did have sore boobs and was very tired but not had any nausea or anything and the sore boobs stopped the day after my bfp...I had to do another one last night just to make sure!

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 20:53

Sorry night. It can't be that bad if I've chosen to do it again hey?! I ate too much last time and dd was big (I am not). Maybe that's why I've gone off almost all foods.

StockingFullOfCoal · 08/06/2015 20:54

mayflowers I wasn't going to mention this but I will... I did also have a DS, who was my first baby, and my birth experience caused PTSD and PNP. It was... Horrific. I have never stepped foot back in that hospital for anything since.

surferchic41212 · 08/06/2015 20:59

Elephant, thanks for that.. My test results and scan cannot come soon enough either..

I go to a baptist church. In fact, my OH is the pastor.. A surfing pastor- we like to buck trends..

surferchic41212 · 08/06/2015 21:00

And stocking that sounds awful! Poor you.. PTSD from birth must be horrendous!
