Wow purdey that's a lot of food. T be fair I've had wheetabix, 2 ginger nut biscuits, a chicken burger and chips from the canteen (dry as fudgery) and some belvita biccies too. Really fancy pork chops for dinner.

Purdie mine vary from really sore and achey to feeling fine with 'brilloed nipples' not sure what's better!

I got home about 5 with my dd in tow and was desperately wishing for bed, but now she's asked to go to bed at 5.30 (about 1.5 hours early then normal hope she's not getting ill) and as soon as I'd put her down I now feel wide awake! Should I go for a rest anyway or make supper for when DH gets home?

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 17:51

Mine are fine if in my bra and I am walking slowly, brisk walking or going down stairs and they ache, same with lying on them. Nipples are fine though.

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 17:53

DH has pregnancy cravings so have had to go to Sainsbury's to fulfill them Grin

Lahottiereturns · 08/06/2015 17:58

You all sound so well and perky!!! With your jolly boobie comparisons, and competitive eating. I want that!!!! Instead I feel dreadful and have just managed to pee for the first time since last night....(I have been on a drip today, so I am trying to get on top of the dehydration).

I want to know when someone else is a nauseous basket case like me!!!

birdbrain21 · 08/06/2015 18:05

Aww lahottie that sounds awful you poor thing! So far I've kept the nausea mostly under control by drinking and eating lots. With the warm weather though I definitely find it worse. Hope you have an OH who's spoiling you and taking care of you well!

Stepawayfromthezebras · 08/06/2015 18:10

Good effort purdie!

My boobs are quite small too so maybe that's why they're hurting. Them growing massive is the symptom I'm most looking forward to

LAhottie that sounds grim you poor thing! I hope you get better soon!

roobanya · 08/06/2015 18:15

Wow, thread 2 already, so much to talk about! It's so nice to know that there are lots of others going through the same variety of emotions.

Sorry I've not been on over the weekend, I've had my Dad staying so been tied up with family stuff. Was very strange not drinking!

Thanks for the exercise tips last week. Having been blasé about how normal I felt, the nausea kicked in over the weekend and the tiredness even more so. Work was a challenge today so I'm a bit worried about coping for another 30 weeks or so!

I've booked a GP appointment for Thursday as the surgery wanted to see me, anyone know what to expect? I imagine it will be pretty routine.

Charlotte - I hope to see you back here soon. Just echoing what others have said about seeking help for your anxiety, that's what it's there for after all.

Lynnie - so sorry to hear that you're not well, I hope you feel better very soon.

In awe of those having second babies while the first are small. DH and I are babysitting our 14 month old niece at the weekend so hopefully it will give us a good insight into the future!

Marsaday · 08/06/2015 18:33

Called gp today, they said don't make an appointment ,just call the midwifes. Midwife won't even speak to you about booking in until after 8 weeks in case you miscarry, so i won't see anyone until 10 weeks or more. Last time i got a letter about my scan but it only arrived 4 days before the scan date.

Marsaday · 08/06/2015 18:35

Sorry to those feeling sicky still, lahottie the dehydration sound particularly awful. I had written a really long reply to everyone but mn keeps eating my posts and i dont hace time to type all again now as need to dunk toddler in bath.

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 18:37

So sorry to hear that you are feeling so unwell lahottie :(

It's so weird not getting appts isn't it mars! Makes it not seem quite real to me :(

Lahottiereturns · 08/06/2015 18:41

Thanks all. It stopped before 12 weeks last time, so fingers crossed. My boobs haven't changed one jot either, so I really have got the short straw here....

pretzelpieces · 08/06/2015 18:58

I've got big boobs and brilloed nips as well. Nothing further to report Wink

Betty5714 · 08/06/2015 19:02

Welcome and congratulations Wizard, Disney and lahottie

Thinking of you Charlotte. I have struggled with anxiety at times in the past, its a vicious cycle. I dont always notice it. My DH has a wonderful way of calmly telling me i'm being anxious and dont need to worry and whilst this doesnt make it go away it helps to bring me back to reality. Hope you have someone supporting you.

Rubbish day at work. Previously reported my struggle hiding early pg at work do on Fri by taking tiny sips of pimms and pouring most down sink when i went to the loo. Got to work today to find rumour mill had decided i was pg so spent the day laughing it off whilst secretly wanting to scream and cry. I realise now how awful it is to watch for other people being pg. Close friend has been ttc for over 18 months and i know i'm guilty of it too. Having had a mc previously i am really disliking my colleagues gossip and guessing, even if their hearts are in the right place. Angry

purdie i started with boobs sore at the sides and last few days have had sore nibbles. Had to shield them from the shower Blush

No sickness yet here. Sorry to hear others feeling icky.

Docs appointment booked for Sat morning, so hope to get midwife booked in then for 8-10 wks and scan date should follow after that.

firsttimenewbie · 08/06/2015 19:10

That sucks betty. It's exactly the same at my work. In fact the rumours started before I even knew I was pregnant myself. They are all doing it in a jokey way but I don't know what I will do if anything goes wrong. They are all quite open about talking about it.
Went to get new bras today as wanted some non-underwired ones and all mine are feeling really uncomfy- no wonder ..... I have gone up two cup sizes already!!! Better not carry on at this rate!

Couldtherebe4 · 08/06/2015 19:18

Evening ladies! Poor you Lahottie! I had that in my first pregnancy (and am fully expecting it soon to arrive). You have my complete sympathies, it truly is awful. Hmm
So far just growing boobs and waves of nausea but easily cured with eating little bits of white carbs here and there, and tiredness!

Sending lots of hugs to all those struggling in any way, it's certainly not all around blissful times for everyone. ??x

purdiepie · 08/06/2015 19:19

Welcome to newbies.

Lahottie, how utterly rotten. Mind you, I'm kind of envying symptoms now as today my nausea has completely disappeared after vomiting yesterday. Apart from a voracious appetite I haven't felt pregnant Sad

LynnieLurker · 08/06/2015 19:44

Waves at everyone!

BrewFlowersfor everyone feeling unwell! I'm feeling much better this evening, thank you for all the well wishes. Smile

Thanks for the supplement info. I've just been taking folic acid. Was going to ask doctor about adding vitamin d today but completely forgot. As it is in pregnacare I am going to start taking it. Might get some pregnacare instead though!

I looked up maternity pay today, then stopped myself as felt it was getting ahead of things a little. 9 months....such a long time!!!!

Betty5714 · 08/06/2015 19:48

Apparently getting married a year ago and buying a 3 bed house makes me that obvious Smile.

2 cups sizes, blimey first! Good job you went bra shopping!

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 19:50

Is there room for another?

I've been lurking since I got my bfp a couple of weeks ago but haven't been brave enough to join in yet. I had an early miscarriage in March and I wanted to get past that point in this pregnancy first.
I'm just over six weeks now, have been feeling sick since 4 1/2 weeks and have gone off nearly all foods except crisps and ham sandwiches Hmm Also quite bloated, a bit farty and very tired - it's just great isn't it? Grin Seriously, I'm grateful to be having these symptoms but some respite would be nice

It's nice to see some familiar names from the ttc threads. I'm marysprayer with an all new summery name change btw Smile

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 19:56

Mary or May as you know are! Grin

Rumours were going round about me being pg not long ago (while AF was in full flow ironically, perhaps I should have just dropped my pants). Doesn't help that I sit on the pregnancy office chair!

nightandthelight · 08/06/2015 19:56

Now not know!

firsttimenewbie · 08/06/2015 19:58

Welcome may!

Haha betty same here- this will be a honeymoon baby and we bought a 4-bed place in January..........damn never planned on being so predictable!

Betty5714 · 08/06/2015 19:59

Welcome May. I had a mc in March too. When i get to the weekend i'll have passed the day i mc'd last time. Feels a bit like a mini milestone doesnt it. Congrats for getting past yours.

MayFlowers16 · 08/06/2015 20:02

It is Betty, definitely. Not long for you to wait now.
