Goulash hope everything is ok

GoulashSoup · 15/06/2015 20:48

My gut feeling is everything is fine. I just would rather be sure than go with a gut feeling. I just can't get the idea of an ectopic out of my head.

GoulashSoup · 15/06/2015 20:51

It is reassuring to know that there are others with persistent spotting too.

Mawsymoo · 15/06/2015 20:55

Brummie your poor tummy will be bruised and battered by the end! I'm on the progesterone til 12 weeks too.

Bluenewbie · 15/06/2015 21:05

poor Brummie. it must be awful. Let's think only that it's for the best! send you hugs [hugs]

Peggy can't you give him the card privately, so DS wouldn't know?

Bluenewbie · 15/06/2015 21:09

Goulash I hope the spotting is nothing. I still haven't stopped discharging brown blood. Got my first HCG levels today and looks like the bean is still there (FX) . I will know for sure on Wed probably. I'm just trying to say that it looks like usually this spotting is not a problem at all. I hope you will be alright Flowers

Brummiegirl15 · 15/06/2015 21:14

Thanks all. It stings a bit when I do it. But at the moment I grab a handful of tummy, and inject straight in.

Well when I'm bigger my skin is going to be stretched where I've got a bump. So basically I'm just going to be stabbing myself in the bump!! Shock

GoulashSoup · 15/06/2015 21:27

Yikes Brummie I don't like the idea of jabbing the bump.

Thanks Blue fingers crossed for good results on Wednesday.

haquoi123 · 15/06/2015 21:32

goulash and blue I've been bleeding for the list two weeks as well, brown spotting on and off. I say an atheist's prayer twice when going for a pee (knickers & wipe) and about a hundred times for a poo! To scared to push. Other than that the anxiety is under control. although poor DH, who had to come be with me while I pooed once as I was so anxious, might disagree

haquoi123 · 15/06/2015 21:34

Also another vivid dreamer here. Dreamed that everyone had this infectious disease that could only be cured by cutting the skin and ripping little worms out. Woke up with a start as one of them burrowed into me!

purdiepie · 15/06/2015 21:35

Brummie, in the final weeks of my pregnancy last year I had to stab my thighs. It doesn't hurt a bit.

Night, have you left us?

Mumof1sofar · 15/06/2015 21:40

Poor you brummie. Sounds like you've got really thorough medical care though so that's good.

Mirabal · 15/06/2015 21:41

evening all, wow this moves fast.

birdbrain how are you doing today? hope you're ok

overreaction was interested to hear that you had HG with first then nausea and few voms with second - was it a boy? I'm clinging onto any small hope that it won't be as bad as last time.....I heard before we TTC that 80% of HG sufferers get HG again, and of those, 80% have it worse! scary...

Rufus this might be too late but I had to take a paracetamol in first trimester - had horrible flu thing, was unbearable - OH called up NHS direct or whatever its called now and they said was fine to take one if you need it - understand not wanting to but I would also agree with what someone (sorry forgetten who) said about the stress and upset possibly being worse for baby. Please don't suffer.

Sorry you had to go home from work for puking purdie but also glad you didn't have to carry on! Sorry to all who are spotting and puking and feel awful and having to inject themselves, it will be worth it!

Re: breast feeding, this might sound.....annoying....but with breastfeeding I was the thinnest I had been since hitting puberty - some people actually thought I got too thin (apart from one lady who helpfully told me I looked MUCH prettier than usual - thanks). That is most definitely not the case now (not b feeding any more) but can only think it was down to that. I know it's different for everyone but it definitely can help with shrinking uterus back down quickly and getting weight off. Not that we need to get weight off - too much pressure on women to look perfect again after babies.

Sarah welcome and congratulations - I'm also due 19th Feb

MayFlowers16 · 15/06/2015 21:53

Evening everyone Smile Just spent ages catching up!

Rubbish day at work today -really busy, lots of problems and still feeling rough. Sympathies to everyone else with nausea, esp if you've been at work too Flowers

Quick question: Is anybody else going to the toilet less than they would do normally? I can go all day at work without needing a pee. I'm trying to drink as much as I can but I think I may still be dehydrated as my mouth and tongue are still so sore.

Re: breastfeeding. My weight fell off after giving birth, despite eating loads. Then dd would only nap in her pram and more fell off. Then I started pumping a little extra for when I went back to work and I lost even more weight. Like Mirabel I was as light as my twelve year old self.

MayFlowers16 · 15/06/2015 21:56

Oh, and yes to the vivid dreams. I had an erotic one too the other nightBlush

MissMartin10 · 15/06/2015 22:05

i had a dream that the dentist had to remove a third of my teeth! my mum searched what it meant and it was related to a big change coming in my life and it can also symbolise the pain we ensure giving birth.. weird huh!?
dreams are so random!!

birdbrain21 · 15/06/2015 22:12

Gosh you ladies have been a chatting a lot tonight. Need to go back and read it all. Couldn't help notice that primarynoodles you're a year younger then me and also live in Manchester, I wonder if we know each other in rl Wink

SweetCharlotteRose · 15/06/2015 22:14

Nosy woman at work knows I'm pregnant.
We unfortunately bumped into each other when I was going for a blood test (as was she but for other reasons). Turned out we were called through at the same time to the communal blood test room and the phlebotomist lady said 'I hope everything progresses for you' as I left and nosy lady heard and pounced and I just ended up admitting it. Since then she's asked me every day if there's any 'developments' and if the gp had phoned with my results. It's really pissing me off. I don't want to talk about it. Stop nagging me. It's nothing to do with you and I hardly know you. Every time I see her it puts me on edge because I just know what she's going to say. I can't help feeling that she'd quite like it to go wrong so she's got some gossip. I mean she can't actually care since she hardly knows me!

primarynoodle · 15/06/2015 22:21

maybe birdbrain! im south manchester.

cant help but notice 6 year old valiant with 6 children on the spreadsheet! Perhaps not quite right Wink

MissMartin10 · 15/06/2015 22:21

bird i also live in manchester Grin

birdbrain21 · 15/06/2015 22:22

Mirabal thanks for asking, I had an okay day today. I still feel really just not interested in anything in life but at least I wasn't bursting into tears every time I was by myself which is what I was doing last week. My class behaved quite well today maybe they've picked up on how I'm feeling. I had a few kids moan at me today that they weren't feeling well and I wanted to tell them "you don't know what that means"!
It's funny I remember in primary school we had a young teacher we all really liked and then she left for a while to get married. She came back to finish off the year with us and she suddenly shouted all the time and wasn't fun anymore. Now that I think about it, bet she was pregnant and was feeling hormonal and took it out on us. I must be careful don't want my class to start hating me, not their fault I feel rubbish. Must go to bed now, can't stop yawning. Good night everyone Flowers and Cake for everyone I'm sure you need it!

birdbrain21 · 15/06/2015 22:24

Ooh maybe nearer the time when we don't mind outing ourselves we could set up a Manchester antenatal group noodles and missmartin Grin

actually turning phone off now, good night!

purdiepie · 15/06/2015 22:30

Charlotte, tell her you would rather not talk about the pregnancy as you don't know who the father is.

Marsaday · 15/06/2015 22:32

Ffs, i am on my 4th round of hiccups today!
Is this a pregnant thing? Want to go to sleep but can't stop hiccuping!
Vivid dreams here too mostly just weird though.
Boo to nasty miscarriage dreams, sorry for those having them.
Don't think breastfeeding did that much for my weight loss. But pushing pram around hilly neighbourhood did! Then went back to work full.time and theres cake and biscuits every day so it all went back on again...

Brummiegirl15 · 15/06/2015 22:36

My "best" vivid dream was that me and DP had sex on stage at a Gary Barlow concert, whilst he was performing Grin

I told DP and he just looked at me as if to say "weirdo"

Well the nausea came back with a vengeance tonight. Was making Thai Monkfish curry and suddenly the smell hit me. Jesus I was nearly on my knees thinking I was going to throw up. I couldn't eat it in the end, I could only eat the rice.

I can still smell it on my hands and my god the kitchen, I can't go in there

Purdie hope you are feeling a bit better after becoming too friendly with the work loos
