Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Valiant1 · 13/06/2015 21:30

Ok so I'm 31 have 5 children am 7 weeks(?) got no due date or scan date yet x

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 21:39

Yes it does, thank you May. And thanks to the lovely lady who took the time to add my stats Smile

May, how are you feeling? How far along are you now? Smile

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 21:40

Ahh Rally you are due on 29th! So funny that our babies could be born on that date in a leap year! Smile

MayFlowers16 · 13/06/2015 21:45

Just coming up to 7 weeks now Mumo. I've been feeling quite sick for almost three weeks now and have gone off loads of food and drinks. At first I was worried that such early symptoms could only get much worse but (so far) I'm plodding along ok. Living on carbs atm, struggling to drink enough so have a very sore mouth. It's all very reassuring Grin

How about you?

MayFlowers16 · 13/06/2015 21:47

Valiant, I haven't got an official due date either but have just put an estimated guess based on LMP/ov/cycle length.

Rufus I do hope you're ok Flowers

goodnightmush · 13/06/2015 21:48

Just wanted to say a quick hello before I head off for an early(ish) night. Congrats to everyone who's recently had a BFP and also to Cheesy for hearing the heartbeat - wow!

I've got my booking in appt with the midwife at home on 24 July. Until then it feels like I am wearing the worst poker face ever and like everyone I speak to can already tell (especially with this tummy)! Hmm

MayFlowers16 · 13/06/2015 21:56

I know what you mean goodnight, I look about 6 months pg in the evenings! And then it's gone again by the morning Confused

Mirabal · 13/06/2015 22:01

Thanks for link May. I can get to right page but then cannot add details, sure I'm just being dense. Is it too early (4 weeks) to blame baby brain? Just exhaustion here. Hits quite unexpectedly at about 8pm.

If anyone can do it easily would it be possible to add my details.... Dc 2, 19th Feb, London, 34

Great news on heartbeats x

goodnightmush · 13/06/2015 22:15

By the way, purdie, have you tried alcohol free mouthwash on top of brushing and flossing? I feel like it makes a difference to me, maybe it would help your gums.

If anyone very kind with better computer skills than me is adding to the list - I have a DS1, this DC2-to-be is due 14 Feb, I'm 32 and we live on the London/Surrey borders.

Night night!

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 22:20

Sorry to hear you've been feeling sick, May. It's so horrible! Hope it eases soon. I'm fine thanks - v early days for me so no sickness (yet). My tastes have completely changed already though & I can't get enough of herbal teas! I'm also craving fish for some weird reason!

RattyCatty · 13/06/2015 22:53

Night lovely ladies!

I have been at a long 30th today / told one friend so she could help with drinks but overheard some girls discussing whether I was drinking and was I pregnant... Argh!

Felt so shattered so sloped off early.

I think I'm 6 weeks but think my GP thinks I'm further along because of my long cycles after the pill as I got my letters through for blood tests (30tj june) and nuchal scan (7th July) today. I think ill only be around 9 weeks then? That's too early isn't it?

rallytog1 · 14/06/2015 00:29

mumof1 I'm actually due on 29 Jan - but no baby has ever been born early in my family and my dd was 2 weeks late, so I feel more at home with the Feb crowd! Didn't realise it's a leap year next year though - I wonder if anyone will have a 29 Feb baby...

Mumof1sofar · 14/06/2015 07:10

Rally you'll definitely have him/her before the end of Feb then Smile If my baby is overdue he/she could arrive on 29th feb Confused Haha - having to explain to your child that they actually only have a birthday every 4 years!!

AbFab86 · 14/06/2015 07:16

Hope all those of you feeling sick have a relatively nausea free day today! Why is there no green smiley on here?!

I'm telling my headmaster today. I know it's mega early but a job came up last week for assistant head of 6th form and I think he'd have expected me to apply, so I'm going to tell him so he knows I'd be interested any other time.

Is anyone else having issues with their internal thermostat? I woke up a few times last night freezing cold, then as soon as I got out of bed I was boiling. Been sat in work sweating away. It's 42deg outside today so that hardly helps, but in an air conditioned environment I'd have thought it'd be a bit more regulated.

purdiepie · 14/06/2015 07:28

Abfab, you teach on a Sunday?!
Chin, I've ground my gnashers all my life - and wore a guard in my teens - but yesterday I noticed little slit-like indentations, like tiny stab marks, around the base of a back molar, so I don't know what the heck's going on.
Goulash, I know all about relax in - I only have birth last year Wink
I'm going to use Mush's advice and buy a swill....I'm chuckling at those of you who actually have the time to floss. None of that shenanigans when the tots are here! Grin

Lovely news about heartbeats. I had zero symptoms yesterday so any nausea today will be v welcome.

purdiepie · 14/06/2015 07:29

*relaxin; gave birth

Cheesypop · 14/06/2015 08:11

Thanks everyone, i know how lucky I am to have seen and heard a heartbeat already. I haven't got many symptoms so it doesn't feel very real but yesterday has helped a bit with that. I have another scan at 7+2 so we'll see how that goes. Still taking it one day at a time and wishing on a Star

I'm sorry to hear of the nausea and sickness some of you are dealing with! Hope it gets better soon. I'm waiting for it to hit me any day!

My in laws are coming today and I can't even drink wine like I usually do... Although very kind they can be quite intense and over the top and have already declared they are buying the pram and have quizzed DH at length about what kind we want. Confused

Brummiegirl15 · 14/06/2015 08:16

My nausea seems to have calmed down. For me it's the unbelievable tiredness and sore boobs. I get the odd crashing wave of nausea but it's not constant anymore.

I'm very bloated, have to jeep undoing my jeans now

Purdie being pg at 44 (and with one tube) gives me hope. I've always wanted 2 children actually 3 but because of my age and my losses we think it will probably end up being 1. I worry I'd be too old afterwards (I'm nearly 39) but actually the thought of going through loss after loss puts me off

But who knows!

Mumof1sofar · 14/06/2015 08:19

Good luck telling your head abfab Smile

Cheesy my parents did that for us & we got a bugaboo - would thoroughly recommend it Smile

GoulashSoup · 14/06/2015 08:25

Ha ha purdie sorry if I was being patronising. I don't mean to be, I was just trying to illustrate that lots of systemic things are happening with completely illogical side effects.

I'm a nocturnal tooth grinder too, but gave up on the gum shield ages ago.

I also meant to say well done on 4.5 years, that is an awesome achievement!

raviolig · 14/06/2015 08:25

I phoned the dr the day I took the test! I know the services are very busy here so I wanted to get in as soon as possible. I saw the dr the next day but the earliest they have got free for midwife is 3rd July. So glad I didn't hang around! Last night I was absolutely shattered and fell asleep at 9 on the settee.
I am feeling a bit crampy today but stretchy too. I find it so strange that something the size of a poppy seed can have such an effect.

Cheesypop · 14/06/2015 08:40

I haven't told my GP yet, I'm waiting until after my 7+2 scan because I'm under the care of the fertility clinic until then. I'm quite reluctant to phone!

monkerina · 14/06/2015 08:51

Good morning ladies! Just added Valiant, RhiPea, Mirabal and Goodnightmush to the stats list.

Off for a day of DIY fitting our kitchen with DFiL, hoping that he won't notice me refusing to touch anything heavy... usually I'm far more hands-on than DH!

Brummiegirl15 · 14/06/2015 09:03

I've got my GP appointment tomorrow to be referred to midwife

IslaMann · 14/06/2015 10:17

Morning all. I've noticed a pattern with my nausea and tiredness. Fine all morning until straight after lunch when I get the most overwhelming nausea, although rarely actually am sick. Then about an hour after that I get the urge to sleep. An hours kip and I feel much better, with just mild nausea until bed time. That's fine at the mo as am off work for another week but don't know how I'll manage when I go back a week on Mon as I am running around for the full 10 hours of my shift
