purdie your garden makes me quite ashamed of my weed pit.
Housework for me today as house is beyond a pig sty and in laws are coming tomorrow.
Got my booking app and scan date through the post today. Booking app-26th June and scan 19th July. Also have booked a private scan in for 23rd June so that should keep me busy! Roll on 2 weeks!
Still no real symptoms for me except tiredness and headaches but not sure how much that is to do with my hay fever. Trying not to worry though.

Stepawayfromthezebras · 13/06/2015 15:29

Eminado I explained my non drinking to DP's mates the other day by saying I had a massive hangover, I'm hoping that allays some suspicions Grin

I had lunch yesterday with a mate who for the past 2 years I've been TTC has always asked every time she's seen me whether I'm pregnant yet, yesterday was the first time she didn't so I was very relieved!

Cheesypop · 13/06/2015 16:25

Well we saw and heard a heartbeat this morning! They said it was a good rate (120bpm) and the sac and everything all looked really good. It is measuring one day ahead (6+1).

When we first went in they were looking on the screen for ages and didn't say anything for what felt like years but was probably 5 minutes. Eventually she showed us the heartbeat but wasn't the most communicative. All in all it was a great experience but I had thought in a private clinic they would be a bit more reassuring and talkative.

Unfortunately our amazing experience was slightly tainted by a huge fight DH and I had on the way home. Sad We very rarely argue so it was a bad day to choose. I am feeling extremely irritable at the moment but it definitely wasn't my fault Wink

Bluenewbie · 13/06/2015 16:40

congrats on HB Cheesypop!
such great news :)

with my DP we are on and off arguing. most of the times he's really sweet, talking to the belly and being happy. Sometimes though he forgets that I might be pregnant and thinks that I'm simply being a bitch. often it's about sex. I just don't feel like it at the moment. And I also read some comments here on being careful when spotting. That made me even more cautious.
so here come arguments.

On private clinic scan- I think they might be just cool about it since it's so early still. Thy try to cover their backs I guess.

Once again congrats! Flowers

raviolig · 13/06/2015 18:01

Just about trying to catch up after my first attempt to join in yesterday!
Great that you saw and heard the heartbeat Cheesypop.
Today I have alternated between being really worried and cleaning. Obsessively cleaning like I had at around 8 months with my dd! I am very moody too. I think that is partly because I feel so tired. I have got a pain in my left hand side, a bit like a stitch. I had it very early on with my ds and ended up having an early scan because they were worried it was ectopic. Ended up being two sacs at 5 weeks but no heartbeat, so I went back for a second scan a week later. That time one sac had a heartbeat but the other didn't, but it had doubled in size. So back again a week later where it had grown again, but no heartbeat. It was such a strange time and the pain I have now is just taking me back there. Sorry don't mean to be so negative. My husband doesn't want an early scan so I just need to wait and see! We have got a holiday between now and then so that is good at least.
Congratulations to all the fellow newbies too xxx

monkerina · 13/06/2015 18:23

Hello everyone! Welcome to newbies Smile and congrats to heartbeats! Currently sat on sofa after stuffing myself with roast chicken, nom nom nom.

Had a couple of twinges in my lower abdomen today, I'm about 4 weeks- has anyone else had this? Not cramps, just the odd twinge. Might be over-obsessing slightly, as I've had 2 MCs so far...

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 19:36

Congrats cheesy on the scan but sorry to hear about your fight with dh. I remember first time round we had lots of rows... I read somewhere that our mood swings are worst in the first 12 weeks!

Hope everything's ok rav.

We had an early scan with dc1 but won't bother this time. We will pay for a private scan at 16 weeks to find out the sex though Grin Did that last time & it was well worth it for £39!

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 19:38

Sorry to hear about your MCs monk. I'm definitely getting twinges too!

GoulashSoup · 13/06/2015 19:50

Congratulations Cheesy, I have had everything crossed for you. It must be the awesome possitive attitude you've had paying off.

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 19:54

Ok for some reason I can't add my stats to the spreadsheet so please could someone do it for me? Jelly, I can see it pinned at the top but I can't click on it. Tried copying the link and pasting it onto a new page then I could see it but couldn't add to it! Sorry, baby brain has obviously got to me already Blush

Stats are:
Mumof1sofar, Age 32, DD 21/02/16, weeks 3+6, DC2, Loc: South East

Thank you in advance Smile

PassiveAggressiveSmiley · 13/06/2015 20:10

I managed to get the spreadsheet to work in chrome on my laptop if that helps anyone. For dc# have you all put how many you already have or what number this one will be?

PassiveAggressiveSmiley · 13/06/2015 20:13

Definitely emotional today. I yelled at dd for running a sink of water to wash up instead of putting it in the dishwasher Sad, bless her she was only trying to be helpful. Then we went to a school fete and I cried at some kids, none of whom I knew, doing country dancing, WTF?

Bluenewbie · 13/06/2015 20:29

so it must be the PG moods that I'm having ;) I hope once I get my HCG levels result it will all back to pure happiness :)

Mumof1sofar it's not your baby brain, this link is not amendable.
Jellypi put a link to the amendable spreadsheet around 5 pages before. Any chance you can pin it on top of the page instead of old link Jelly? sorry, don't know how it works here.

PassiveAggressiveSmiley As far as I understand you put a number of this PG, so if it's first it will be DC#1.

raviolig , monkerina no twinges here. I only have slight cramps but they are there since the beginning until now-7week. If it's baby embedding, I don't understand how long it takes?

Rufus200 · 13/06/2015 20:36

More spotting this morning, had a really nice day, was feeling great. Packed all our stuff up this evening and just watching TV with DH when I went from zero nausea to 9/10 in under 30 secs. Was very nearly sick on the sofa, made it to the bathroom and put my wrist bands on. It is the worst I have had so far by a mile! Nausea dialled down to mid level but then stared to have cramps and have started spotting again! Can't wait to be home if this is the nausea cranking up, why was I wishing for it earlier in the week? I've had a lunch time attack now, morning and evening all on different days, so no pattern to it at all. Wish the spotting would piss off, this is the 6th time I've had it now but 1st time 2 lots on the same day!

Can't wait for my scan on Wednesday, I just really want to know that there is something in there and that I'm not going through all this for nothing!

Onecurrantbun · 13/06/2015 20:36

mumo yay!!

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 20:42

Passive I put the number this one would be. How old is your dc?

Thanks blue, I'll have another look.

Hi one (waves!) Smile How is everything going with you?

Bluenewbie · 13/06/2015 20:45

Rufus hold on! sorry to hear you going through this again.

I hope Wednesday will bring good news to you and me! Flowers

Valiant1 · 13/06/2015 20:54

I've been so ill and had to go work keep being asked why I haven't been sent home Confused this thread has grown loads Grin

PassiveAggressiveSmiley · 13/06/2015 20:54

My dc are 9 and 7 so quite a gap!

PassiveAggressiveSmiley · 13/06/2015 20:57

When is everyone contacting dr or mw? With dd I was abroad and it was all private so saw an obstetrician from as soon as I found out, with ds I tried to get an appointment at around 6 weeks and was told to go away until I was at least 8. I think with ds I went straight to booking in with mw without seeing the gp but I can't really remember.

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 20:59

Wow passive that will be a bit of a gap. How exciting! I'm going to contact the Dr on mon Smile

Still can't find the stats spreadsheet Confused

Mumof1sofar · 13/06/2015 21:00

Poor you Rufus. Glad you're getting a scan on weds.
