wlrg I'm so sorry for your loss, look after yourself.

brickie Glad all seems to be well - I know someone else who was told the heart beat was slow around a similar point and baby was fine :)

Well I'm absolutely shattered today, was almost dozing at my desk! Came home early for a nap, the cat clearly approves of this plan and has curled up with me!

mrsfazruns · 21/05/2015 15:59

Scan done .... Heartbeat going amazing!! Very emotional but really helped reassure me x

oneconfusedchick · 21/05/2015 16:28

Carno you sound just like me! My DS is 21 months and as also have been trying pretty much since he was born!

Can someone add me to? I'm 30 have one DS who is 21 months old - not sure if you need Anymore info?

parsnipbob · 21/05/2015 16:33

Lovely news Mrsfaz

AlohaMama · 21/05/2015 16:42

The highs and lows of early pregnancy.

So so sorry wlrg14 Flowers. Best of luck for future.

Congrats to all the newbies.

Having a rubbish day today. Felt fine (apart from the constant nausea which I'm kind of getting used to) yesterday when my parents were down with me to help out, so spent the day doing heavy gardening. Then today, I have no energy at all, keep having to sit down and rest. Fell alseep on the sofa for 2 hours after lunch but DD (22 mo) didn't nap, which meant DS (4) didn't want to have his rest, so DH had to step in to the breach. Now feel horribly guilty as he has a ton of work to do (he works from home) and I keep finding myself randomly crying because of feeling so pathetic.

OK moan over. Just so you know you're not alone jmac

SleepyDragon · 21/05/2015 16:46

brickie& and MrsFaz* fab news ladies, that must be amazing!

jmac no sore boobs here, just very sensitive when cold but i've been recommended to look at Hot Milk website for pretty, decent priced, humongour maternity bras

AlohaMama my sickness seems to have kicked in full force today, i've managed not to be sick but i am having serious wretching issues, you have my sympathies!

Donnadoon · 21/05/2015 16:52

Ha littlebunny I thought that i did it myself at 6;30 am but just looked now and it didnt save Confused but yes thanks for the spreadsheet Grin
wrlg Flowers :(

kep1979 · 21/05/2015 17:01

mrsfaz fabulous news about the scan Smile

Boobs-wise I gave in and bought some Hot Milk bras - just went up one back size (so from 32D to 34D) and bought one of the pretty ones and a sleep bra - OMG the sleep bra is soooooooo comfortable. That comfortable in fact that I wore it to work today. It has made such a difference, and my boobs look pretty good too. Much better than the m&s ones I bought last time that looked horrendous on. I resisted buying more as last time I went from a 32D to a 36FF, so cost me a fortune in bras!

Oh and hot milk has 25% off their sleep bras today (not sure how long it lasts)

kep1979 · 21/05/2015 17:05

Oh and is anyone else really thirsty? I seem to have a really dry throat and mouth today - so drinking loads and therefore needing loads more wees!

I am flying to the US tomorrow for a 10 day belated by two years honeymoon.... I am really looking froward to the holiday and all of those lovely naps but dreading the flight - which typically has a free bar as we were upgraded Envy. Any tips from anyone who flew in early pregnancy? Needing the loo is one thing, but the smells is the thing I'm worrying about. The smell of Lynx is setting me off at the moment, no barfing yet but feeling horrendously nauseous.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 21/05/2015 17:19

wlrg - I'm so sorry. I hope that your DP is looking after you and that you are managing to get some rest.

jmac - nope, unfortunately I haven't had any issues with my boobs. I'm a bit gutted actually. I thought pregnancy might be the one time in my life where I had a chest worth having!

Valancy - I know what you mean about the tiredness!!! Luckily I am not working at the moment, and I have no idea how any of you manage it frankly! I don't feel particularly tired, but am sleeping way more at night, randomly woke up from a three hour nap earlier (an unintentional one at that), and think if I was having to go to work every day I would really feel the exhaustion.

I'm also having this thing where I'm not overly nauseous (like I was on Monday), but even though I'm starving hungry, no food at all seems appealing. The thought of having my normal breakfast seems disgusting. The idea of de caff coffee (which I was liking before!) seems revolting.

Literally the only thing I've been eating for the last few days are:

crackers
crisps
bread
a bit of cheese (but sometimes I regret the cheese afterwards).

They aren't cravings - I don't crave any of them, they are just the only things that don't make me shudder when I think about eating them.

ValancyJane · 21/05/2015 17:37

MrsFaz That's wonderful, glad to hear it went well for you :)

goodness I'm a teacher and the only thing that's kept me going this week as that next week is half term and I can just sleep!! Thankfully I'm secondary and it's the time of year where everything starts to slow down with exam classes finishing. Lucky you - do have some sleep for me please!!

OrangeBeehive · 21/05/2015 17:38

Hello everyone,

WLRG I'm so so sorry. Please look after yourself Flowers

Congrats to all the early scans and heartbeats - exciting!

Still not really feeling pregnant here at 7+5 - bit of nausea in the mornings, eating a lot more (2 bowls of cornflakes at 10pm last night!) and slightly sore boobs. But no tiredness really! Perhaps yawning a bit more/earlier than usual but certainly not completely wiped out. Trying to be positive about it (I don't generally need much sleep and I don't really get ill - perhaps I'm just hardcore!) but it is a bit worrying. No spotting or bleeding though which I'm taking to be good signs. I also woke up at 2am with cramps the night before last - hopefully it was stretching pains!

Someone yesterday (maybe Coffee?) mentioned loose bowels. Someone else (Joey or Mrs Faz?) mentioned long hard fingernails. YY to both of these (although much preferring the latter!)

jmac88 · 21/05/2015 17:41

I'm feeling you sisters with the exhaustion. Currently half falling asleep on the train.

Thanks for the tips on bras will check out hot milk (what a name!)

Also have got a pretty severe thirst on. Though it is pretty hot. I'm sure I'm guilty of attributing minor daily irritations to pregnancy!

parsnipbob · 21/05/2015 17:43

Just got my letter through from the hospital. Booking appointment 17 June, 12 week scan 17 July. Bit scary!

TeenieDeenie · 21/05/2015 18:12

Parsnip I got my booking appointment today aswell, also the 17th June Smile

littlebbunny · 21/05/2015 18:15

Goodness me, I can't keep up, so much is going on since I last logged in.

Okay here are the stats updated. I'm still new to google docs. Let me know yours if it's not entered: docs.google.com/document/d/12Ckb-rrIP2xgB4ht-D21egTk3YfOBvl22af95tuFESU/edit?usp=docslist_api

Brickie So glad things went well and you got to see the heart flicker.

MrsFaz Good to hear your scan looked good.

Organe cornflakes seem to be my go to snack at midnight.

jmac88 I'm always bloated but worse in the evenings which seem to be the time I eat the most! I need to learn to eat small amounts throughout the day. I can't get enough of fruits. My ( )( )s keep on growing, I was worried at one stage because they didn't feel sore or full. And omg (!) the insomnia!

Scan this morning, nervous as hell. My last scan I saw a heartbeat at 5+6, she said the baby had a strong heartbeat when she measured it but still worried.

littlebbunny · 21/05/2015 18:16

Can't even spell! Sorry Orange

parsnipbob · 21/05/2015 18:28

Teenie yay! Though I realise I typed in 17 twice, should be 14 Jun and17 July!

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/05/2015 18:29

Congrats to all the early scanners! You're really tempting me into booking one...will see how far away my 12 week scan is after I see the midwife Tuesday!

gouda I'm always hungry! I've had nausea for over a week but only 1 or 2 days it's been bad, mainly it's just a car sicky feeling at random times of the day and gets better when I eat. Indefinitely know what you mean with the not fancying certain things though.

On that subject, how much crisps do you think is safe/ok to eat? I'm trying to limit myself to one pack a day, is that too much? I would prefer to have several packs a day!

beehive I'm not far behind you at 7+3 and I've not had major tiredness, I get knackered in work around 2-3pm but no napping so far. I'm also not a sicky person like you so can't imagine that I'll get to the point where I'm actually sick...but there's a long way to go until 12 weeks so still plenty of time!

parsnipbob · 21/05/2015 18:41

Still really undecided about whether to get an early scan or not. Thoughts?

TeenieDeenie · 21/05/2015 18:44

Ahhhh, parsnip our bookings still very close tho Smile

Bluebird89 · 21/05/2015 18:47

wrig I'm so very sorry. Please look after yourself

Glad your scans went well Brickie and Mrsfaz. Must have been very exciting and made it all feel very real!

Parsnip we have the same EED, I haven't even rang the GP yet and you have a date for your scan! I better get my arse into gear!

parsnipbob · 21/05/2015 18:51

Blue no I am just over organised :) am a PA so it's in my blood! To be fair I self referred to the hospital on Monday and already got my letter, so they were very efficient.

AlohaMama · 21/05/2015 18:53

looking there is no limit to crisp intake when you're pregnant. I think in first trimester all sensible diet rules go out of the window. Last pregnancy I basically ate the same thing for several days in a row as it was the only thing I could stomach, then when I was sick of that food, I'd go onto the next. I think my diet basically went like this: 3 days of eating only crumpets, 3 days of toast, 3 days of crisps, 3 days of bagels etc. Not exactly healthy balanced but you gotta do what you gotta do!!

parsnipbob · 21/05/2015 19:13

Crap, just emptied a poo out of the cat litter and then remembered I'm not supposed to! Cats are indoor so tox risk is minimal, but feel so bad :(
