ifelola welcome, so glad you're on the pregnancy board after a long journey and mmc.

manatee so glad it was a bit reassuring today. My friend had lots of concerns last year with a v large fibroid, but didn't need treatment in the end and now has a bouncing 6 month old. Hope it's same story for you.

Lookingforadvice123 · 23/05/2015 20:03

beehive I'm 8 weeks on Monday and I've suddenly gone huge the last couple of days Confused my waist has disappeared (always been 26", haven't measured but is probably 30" now!) and I'm permanently bloated and my skinny jeans are uncomfortable when sitting down. This isn't normal surely, is it just down to pure greed?!

OrangeBeehive · 23/05/2015 20:14

Looking it's probably bloating plus a little bit bump! I don't feel that bloated anymore and don't feel like I've put on much weight yet even though I've been eating like a horse (although don't weigh myself so can't be sure). Does your body burn more calories when pregnant? Good news for so!

OrangeBeehive · 23/05/2015 20:15

Good news if so!

dobbythedoggy · 23/05/2015 20:19

manatee really hope you get some good news when you get home to the uk. A friend of mine had a fibroid when I was pregnant with dd. Her dd is one my dd's best friends at the moment. Although it caused a lot of worry, her mum had a relitively straight forward pregnancy.

Really pleased I managed to get dd out of the house for most of the day. Two diffrent parks and a trip around the clothes shop.
Thanks to the staff entertaining dd at our local baby and maternity shop, I got measued for a new bra. Gone up massively already, 34C/D to 38E, only 4+5! Got a really comfy sleep bra from them. Then walked into primark and found maternity bra two pack for £7, impressed with how comfortable they are.

parsnipbob · 23/05/2015 21:19

Was on a diet before I got my BFP, now can't stop eating. Need to stop or I will end up massive!

Anyone else's pre pregnancy BMI slightly too much? Mine is 25.5.

Joey0805 · 23/05/2015 21:21

Looking - I am exactly the same... Unbelievably bloated. My normal flat tum is long gone and even when tense it all up it's still not flat. Made worse by the fact we're away for a week so I'm in a bikini feeling like an absolute whale! I'm 7+3 so the baby is the size if a blueberry so I can't kind myself it's some sort of baby bump yet!!

coffeenut · 24/05/2015 03:28

I feel bloated fat all over. It pisses me off as I haven't been eating more . Will avoid weighing self but the skinny jeans I bought from zara one size up are already too tight across my pelvis and doing up with a rubber band. SIGH.

Welcome to the newbies Smile

manatee I'm glad everything is looking okay Smile

CubanoHabana · 24/05/2015 07:01

Ah! It was dh's turn to get up with ds and he kept pretending to be skep or saying ds wasn't crying. Finally managed to get him up but I'm now completely awake... But I'm adamant I'm staying in bed until 10.just need to find the kindle!

Chip86 · 24/05/2015 08:39

manatee glad it's positive news, all the best
original oh no your sickness sounds horrible please look after yourself
Welcome new ones
Hope everyone is having a lovely long restful bank holiday weekend.
We have told both are parents, well DH mum guessed over Skype ShockConfusedGrin and we told DH siblings yesterday and might tell my DB today.
But DH is much happier and excited about baby now we have told family.
I am so tired and feeling sick with a headache feel like I am living in a fog Envy< sick looking face
I am 6+3

Blackandwhitecat3 · 24/05/2015 08:59

Hi everyone, we're not fat, we're pregnant! I love my belly sticking out Smile

Juniper44 · 24/05/2015 09:13

Cubano is DH off tomorrow? Maybe he should get up with your DS then too! DP and I are doing alternate days this weekend but it's my get-up day today. Already shattered and it's only just turned 9!

Manatee so glad to hear your levels are rising. I don't know anything about fibroids, but very impressed with the Greek centre's efficiency! Is it covered by travel insurance?

I've been worrying because I'm not feeling as crap as I did last time, so I poas this morning Blush It was a internet cheapie so only 15p...
The positive line came up before the wee had even reached the control segment! Line is darker than the control, so that's made me feel a lot better.

Early scan on Tuesday to try and work out my dates. If I'm counting from when CB said I ovulated, then I'm 4+1 and got my bfp at 6dpo. I suspect those dates are wrong. LMP was 6th April, so I'm something in between 7 weeks and 4! Only two more days and then hopefully I'll have some answers. I hate not being in the know.

CubanoHabana · 24/05/2015 09:24

juniper he's off all week, so we are alternating as well. It's just so frustrating!

Juniper44 · 24/05/2015 09:47

Yup. I get that. When DP gets up with DD, she always 'comes to say hi'... which translates as her climbing all over me whilst DP somehow manages to snooze through it all. Hmm.

oneconfusedchick · 24/05/2015 10:57

We are going to center parcs with DS and other family - we booke a spa package for us two one evening - gonna be a lot of stuff I can't use now! My DH says 'well a lot of people don't even know they are pregnant by now' - I can't undo what I know though so will just play it careful - will go In the jacuzzi But stay away from sauna - don't really like the sauna anyway!!

oneconfusedchick · 24/05/2015 10:59

Oh also - my dates according to clear blue and going on period I could have ovulated (had blood tests on dr so think it was no earlier than 12th May) I am only about 4 weeks , however as I had LMP on 19th April will they date it from there even tho I know I ovulated between CD24 and 30 not the normal 14!

SleepyDragon · 24/05/2015 11:35

Well ladies, today is the day we spring our 6+3 surprise on our parents as we're all meeting up.... Wish us luck because I've been trying so hard for the last 2 days not to act queasy in front of just Mum lol!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 24/05/2015 11:38

Great news manatee! Hope you're feeling better and reassured now. Fingers crossed those hormone levels keep rising and this was just a blip Smile

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/05/2015 11:40

Good luck dragon! Loved telling our parents Smile

I'm v anxious today but trying not to show dh as its all he's had since Tuesday! So today would be the day my period is due (7+6) and after reading that miscarriages tend to happen round this time I was already nervous, but despite having some nausea when I woke up around 5am this morning, after going back to sleep til 9am I've not had any nausea and my boobs don't seem to be sore Sad I usually feel sick around this time, it's no fun but I wish I was as it would reassure me!

Anyone else's nausea come and gone? I don't have it all day every day but I've had it round this time every day for the past week or so.

SleepyDragon · 24/05/2015 12:37

Looking ta muchly.... 2hours to go lol!

Yes, my symptoms have come and gone a few times which has concerned me but I'm told this is 'normal'.

parsnipbob · 24/05/2015 12:39

Looking I don't have nausea at all. I think it's totally normal to come and go.

I POAS on an OPK this morning just for fun really (I know, how sad) - strongest positive I've ever had on one of those!

ValancyJane · 24/05/2015 12:59

Good luck dragon we are telling OH's parents today - quite excited/nervous. We will have to say it quite quickly though, as the second we step through the door his Mum will offer us a drink, and if I decline (rare) the response is always "Ooh do you have news for us?!" Telling my Mum on Tues. Going to have to warn them both to not get too carried away as it's still so early though!!

Feeling a bit queasy on and off this morning, I think morning sickness may be on its way this week.

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 24/05/2015 13:16

Good luch valancy and dragon! I was scared telling my parents so I snapchatted a photo of the BFP test to my mum and let her tell my dad! Blush

AlohaMama · 24/05/2015 14:03

Great news on the scan manatee, I hope the fibroids don't end up causing any further stresses and that everything continues as it should.

Good luck with those sharing news with family and friends. We have already told immediate family, most were distinctly underwhelmed. I'm assuming that it was mainy due to being suprised as we're expecting #3 but I always said that 2 was enough. Still, the odd congratulations would have been nice!

Am going to stay wtih my folks for most of half term so they can look after me and I don't have to cook. Constant nausea means I have no interest in food whatsoever, but sadly the DCs still need to eat!

OrangeBeehive · 24/05/2015 14:35

Looking my nausea has come and gone, in fact so have all my symptoms. Think it's completely normal.

A few of my friends know our news but we're not telling immediate family until after the 12 week scan. I think they'll be massively surprised and I'm looking forward to seeing their reactions in a few weeks time. Although...my mum has been unusually nice to me recently. Even though I've only seen her once since my BFP I'm wondering if on some level she already knows and there's some mother's intuition at work!
