Thanks for reassurance everyone! Guess I should just be grateful I don't feel crap yet.

Original hope you're ok :(

originalusernamefail · 23/05/2015 13:57

Hi Aloha and Parsnip. Aloha I'm medicated (phenergan and Stemetil ) and I've seen mild improvement, so my fingers are crossed, they make me so tired though I could sleep the day away. Signed off work for the next week as well. Parsnip don't worry yourself about the lack of symptoms, a work colleague has just gone 20 weeks with her first and apart from a week of feeling a bit more tired than usual she swears she feels no different. Has been on x3 foreign hols and is booked in for Glastonbury and IOW festivals as well. Oh yeah her stomach is smaller than mine was pre preg as well. I'm not Envy at all ...........honest...........well maybe a bit -a lot- . Maybe your destined to breeze through it all like a supermum!

Bovnydazzler · 23/05/2015 14:24

Sorry for your from time original that sounds unrelenting, even if it is a much wanted pregnancy of course you will be feeling horrific.

If you can afford it, can you get a cleaner to help out DH? I'd let him and DD have plenty of ready meals, anything to make life more manageable for you all.

Blackandwhitecat3 · 23/05/2015 14:32

Gosh original that sounds tough. Just complain away, it sounds like you're having a rough time and we all know you're thankful to be pregnant

parsnip I had several days in week 5 with no symptoms. No guessing about today though, I've barely been able to keep my eyes open!

Anyone else sleeping loads? I'm 6+5

originalusernamefail · 23/05/2015 14:36

Nope no £££ for a cleaner but luckily we are both fairly slovenly and have low standards. Anything apart from out-and-out health hazard is being left for now Grin.

Blackandwhitecat3 · 23/05/2015 14:37

Thinking of you manatee

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 23/05/2015 14:41

B&W I'm 6 weeks today. Yesterday was really bad for tiredness, but I missed out on a drink in the morning and work was really busy which won't have helped! Feel a lot better today after decent night's sleep Smile

MelonMelon · 23/05/2015 15:33

Ladies I got away with the spa hot tub situation this afternoo! And the therapists were really discreet and adapted my treatments so they were all safe. If only I could afford to go there every week, this is the most relaxed I've been since getting my bfp!

Blackandwhitecat3 · 23/05/2015 15:38

Glad it went well melon, where was it?

MelonMelon · 23/05/2015 15:39

Only round the corner from my house! (Midlands)

ValancyJane · 23/05/2015 16:31

Original Sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish - hope you are taking good care of yourself. Hope it doesn't last to term this time round.

Parsnip and Amy I'm pretty much the same; 5+2 today and very few symptoms the last few days aside from my boobs are bigger, my nipples are a bit sore, I'm noticing smells more and I'm a teeny bit more tired - but if I wasn't looking for it I doubt I'd have noticed! The cramps I was moaning about at the start of the thread have gone and not come back, and to be honest I don't feel massively pregnant the last few days!! Think it's normal - I'm just assuming all's well and that the cramps etc at the start were just my body getting used to the hormones (or adapting to wine withdrawl?!) and I'm trying to just enjoy having no real symptoms while I can... I'm sure it won't last!!

Melon That sounds lovely, how did you get out of the hot tub in the end?!

ValancyJane · 23/05/2015 16:36

Also, tomorrow we're telling my OH's parents, and I'm actually getting a bit nervous about it! They will be SO happy (his Mum has been dropping hints - well actually just outright saying - that she wants grandchildren for a while) but still, I feel a bit nervous about it! Telling my Mum on Tuesday too, it all feels suddenly quite real!

OTheHugeManatee · 23/05/2015 17:02

Update - my hCG results show an increase albeit not a big one. So it might be that I'm 5wks, not 7 after all. I still have a giant fibroid but at least it's not a mmc. We're both cautiously relieved Smile

Blackandwhitecat3 · 23/05/2015 17:23

Sounds encouraging manatee

I'm heading for my third nap of the day!

MelonMelon · 23/05/2015 17:28

Manatee that sounds good, hope the good news continues!

Valancy I said I was having a particularly horrible AF!

Ifelola · 23/05/2015 17:30

Hi everyone, I am new to the group. I am 35 from Kent and have been ttc since September 13. I had a mc October last year at 5 weeks. This will be our first baby. My edd is 19th Jan 16. This time around I am 5,4 and things seem to be progressing well. Hope everyone gets some time to relax and enjoy the bank holiday, especially those who are not having an easy time of things.

MelonMelon · 23/05/2015 17:32

Hello ifelola !

Wow are we ttc twins? I'm due 19th Jan with #1 too, am 5+4 and also had a MC last year. Congratulations!

impatientlywaiting · 23/05/2015 17:36

Manatee so hoping that you are 5 weeks. What is the plan next? What would the treatment for the fibroid be?

ValancyJane · 23/05/2015 17:39

Manatee Yay! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you - could your dates have been off last month?

Welcome ifelola :)

CubanoHabana · 23/05/2015 17:58

Fab news manatee

Lookingforadvice123 · 23/05/2015 18:01

Great news manatee. I googled fibroids after your post yesterday and they're actually not as scary as the name sounds! Fingers crossed xx

parsnipbob · 23/05/2015 18:05

Welcome Ifelola:)

Manatee keeping my fx for you!

OTheHugeManatee · 23/05/2015 18:24

Thanks everyone! Smile We're going to see what the doc in the UK says and decide on that basis how to treat the fibroid. The Greek clinic (actually a very well-equipped private maternity hospital with everything from IVF to scans and - for some reason - a pianist in the lobby) gave me a comprehensive set of notes, scan pics etc so I'll take those to my doc and see what they advise. Right now I'm just relieved I'm not recovering from emergency surgery or a D&C.

oneconfusedchick · 23/05/2015 19:04

Great news Manatee. If it's any reassurance I didn't have hardly any symptons with my pregnancy - only had sore nipples for a few weeks - but not till about 5 weeks - don't really have that now so sometimes I do worry but I did have mild period type cramps last night which I hope is normal! Now I think tho I do have a bit of metallic taste in mouth and feel like my boobs are bigger! Honestly last time I was pregnant I was pretty much symptom free the entire pregnancy

OrangeBeehive · 23/05/2015 19:48

Hello and congratulations ifelola

And also great news Manatee, fingers crossed HCG continues to rise!

Original your sickness sounds absolutely awful, really hope you start to feel a bit more human soon.

8 weeks exactly today, I feel I have the beginnings of a very tiny bump! I was doing some (ahem) grooming this morning and had to get over an additional tiny bump below the usual big bump (belly). It's very small but definitely there - asked DH afterwards for second opinion and he agreed. Makes it feel more real!
