Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
OTheHugeManatee · 21/05/2015 22:25

I'm 6+5 blackandwhitecat. I can't really go to the GP tomorrow as I'm away in Greece until Sunday. But I will keep an eye and find a way to get it checked out if it continues.

Blackandwhitecat3 · 21/05/2015 22:45

No rush unless you get really sharp pain, especially in the shoulder.

coffeenut · 21/05/2015 23:51

parsnip knowing how anxious you get, perhaps it is a good idea to pay for an early scan just to help you relax. Don't worry about the kitty litter. What's done is done and the risk I'm sure is minimal - & if you've had toxo already, you're basically immune x

I'm so sorry once again wlrg. Sending positive thoughts.

Congrats for positive scans b&w and others Smile

Tonicandgin · 22/05/2015 02:39

Manatee-when I had dd, I had spotting very early which I put down to implantation bleeding. And had a small amount again at 14 wks. I do know people who had a lot more than me and carried a healthy baby to term. Everyone's different.

Tonicandgin · 22/05/2015 02:42

Another night another hideous nightmare... Always, about my ever so aggressive ex Hmm who I walked out on 8 hrs ago!! Why the hell is he in my dream?! What makes it worse is I'm dreaming I'm with dd and he's being an arse so I'm trying to protect her.. Shock

Bloody awful... Anyone else having awful dreams?

ValancyJane · 22/05/2015 06:17

Tonic Night before last I dreamed that we were building a fallout shelter underneath the garage as it was nuclear war... So yes, not just you!!

goodnessgraciousgouda · 22/05/2015 07:38

Tonic - Not quite the same, but I had a very realistic dream about having a mc, so also not very nice.

And also fighting dinosaurs, but that wasn't so bad.

OTheHugeManatee · 22/05/2015 08:29

Less relevant and more woo, but DH had recurring dreams about a nuclear bomb going off earlier this year and always around 8 May...which is when IRL I found out I was pg!

So maybe a scary dream doesn't have to mean a scary thing Smile

CubanoHabana · 22/05/2015 08:50

I had quite a lot of spotting at 10 weeks and have healthy 15 month now, had to have a scan and injection (as I'm rhesus negative) but other than that was fine.

parsnipbob · 22/05/2015 09:11

4+4 today and stupidly did another digi. Still says 1-2 weeks. My O date was May 5 so I feel it should be 2-3 by now.

MelonMelon · 22/05/2015 09:15

parsnip I am giving you a virtual slap! I say this with affection, please stop testing, what is it achieving? I am 100% with you on the anxiety, I'm a mess. But the testa are giving you no new information. We just need to wait the new few weeks out, book an early scan for 6+ weeks when you can see a heartbeat Smile

parsnipbob · 22/05/2015 09:17

Thank you melon, I need a slap!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/05/2015 09:34

Wow this is moving fast - still not done the stats - have had a very busy week! Will trawl through them tonight. Hope everyone is doing ok! 7+5 here, booking in appt Monday - excited!!

Blimeygirl · 22/05/2015 09:43

Lovely to hear about the early scans going well! Wish I could convince dh to go for one but he has only come round to the thought that he needs to come to the 12 week one! Am 7+5 today and feeling absolutely shattered. I think looking after a four year old and two year old twins could be a challenge today!

TeenieDeenie · 22/05/2015 09:54

Congrats to all positive scans yesterday, is anyone having one today?

Manatee How are you today? Any more spotting? I hope you're having a nice time in Greece.

Parsnip step away from the tests my lovely! Agree with melon that we're all shitting ourselves but I think continuing to test is just feeding your anxiety, not helping it. Have you had any more thoughts on an early scan? It may help to settle you a bit?

4+4 today if I go by my predicted O day. So far this week I've noticed finger nails, toe nails and body hair all growing at the speed of light. I also wake up around the 4am mark and struggle to nod off again. Am massively bloated at night (is there multiples in there or what?). And finally gas... and lots of it Blush

Booking appt confirmed for 17th June and waiting on the GP calling today so I can beg for an early scan. Fingers crossed she refers me...

OTheHugeManatee · 22/05/2015 10:07

Tiny bit more spotting this morning (brown, not red, sorry if tmi) and a dull ache sometimes, low down on one side. I really hope it's nothing but I'm still in an absolute state with anxiety Sad

parsnipbob · 22/05/2015 10:09

I've done something constructive and booked an early scan for June 11, when I'll be 7+3. Very nervous but I think I will go mad otherwise.

Manatee I'm sure it's ok but totally understand your anxiety. What has your GP said?

OTheHugeManatee · 22/05/2015 10:13

I haven't spoken to a GP. I'm in Greece till Sunday. I suppose I could still call but it's not like they can do much?

parsnipbob · 22/05/2015 10:19

You could call and they could offer some reassurance. I'm sure you only need to worry if the pain is severe and bleeding is heavy/red. How many weeks are you?

TeenieDeenie · 22/05/2015 10:24

I can imagine how worried you must be manatee If I were you I would call your local EPU on your return and see if they can scan you on Monday just to see what is happening.

Great news on the scan parsnip

Lookingforadvice123 · 22/05/2015 10:28

parsnip I have to agree with melon, I'm an anxious mess and have been googling constantly but even I haven't tested since my first test - it literally means nothing! So there's no point. Xx

parsnipbob · 22/05/2015 11:18

Looking yes I know you're right :)

mrsfazruns · 22/05/2015 11:28

Think we all need to make a pact of no more POAS xx

jmac88 · 22/05/2015 11:28

Little bunny I'm also addicted to the fruit! Guess it's a good craving to have though!

jmac88 · 22/05/2015 11:34

Parsnipbob I have read a lot about this. Don't feel guilty. Apparently it's a bit of a hype about the cat poo. If you have s cat you are very likely to have been exposed already which means you'll be immune. Some interesting facts in Emily oster's book expecting better xxxx
