Parsnip! Flowers and welcome!! I booked my ob when I had officially missed my period (so was four weeks + 1 preg). You're too early to have symptoms lovely.

charchar I'm also in Oz Smile EDD based on ov date is far more accurate. If you go for the earlier date just be aware that if you go overdue, they will want to induce you at 40 +10 days (so having a later EDD could buy you a few days).

Hungry and sick here today. And craving fruit, fruit and more fruit.

CharChar2015 · 17/05/2015 05:29

Hey coffee that's cool to know I'm not the only one down under haha. How many weeks are you?

I think I'll stick with ovulation dates... I doubt I'll go over as I didn't with DD and I'd probably decline an induction anyway (if it was only for post dates).

coffeenut · 17/05/2015 06:19

6+4 char. Did you have DD in oz?
They can be pretty pushy with induction from what I've heard so I thought I'd mention it! Smile

Freaking out. AF is due tomorrow and my bbt dropped today. Noy below cover line but still a drop (see chart). So I POAS on another FRER and the line was lighter than it was yesterday. Not a squinter, but definitely lighter. Am now terrified this is a chemical.

Only thing keeping me positive is I tested with FMU today but yesterday and day before I tested in the afternoon after holding wee for a couple of hours, so maybe my FMU isn't that concentrated...

Any insight welcome!

First morning feeling terrible here so think the morning sickness is finally ramping up. Heres to another 10 weeks of sickness...

There's a few people I'm telling fairly early here. Family and close friends who I know will help out when the sickness is bad, and who would be supportive if things didn't work out. Last pregnancy the sickness was pretty bad so it was hard to hide anyway. If people don't know you're preggers then they wonder why you're hanging out with them when you've obviously got some horrible vomiting bug!!

coffeenut · 17/05/2015 06:33

parsnip my temp dropped the day that I tested positive - about the same as yours did. I didnt bother temping after that! Try not to freak out - if you look at the FF pregnancy charts, this isn't uncommon.

Did you use the toilet in the night? Or drink a bit? I wouldnt stress too much about a lighter line at this stage. Use another frer this afternoon after holding for a couple of hours.

AlohaMama · 17/05/2015 06:34

Sorry parsnip, cross posted. Its only one day of temp dip so you can't really tell yet, maybe just an odd reading for some reason? Hopefully things are still on for you.

coffeenut · 17/05/2015 06:39

aloha sorry you are feeling awful Sad

Bluebird89 · 17/05/2015 06:43

Parsnip try not to worry too much, I had a temp drop the first day I tested. I took my temp this morning but more out of habit. I'm not going to take it again.

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 06:46

Thanks everyone, I'll test again this afternoon. I don't think my FMU is always very concentrated for some reason(don't drink at all at night so who knows why)

CharChar2015 · 17/05/2015 06:46

Hey yeah I did - I had her at home. I'm pretty pushy too when I need to be haha ;)

I had something similar on my chart too parsnip - just a small dip but not below baseline. Then I stopped temping - not too sure re the darkness of lines?

CubanoHabana · 17/05/2015 06:57

Elba congrats on twins!

impatiently I went to school in Newcastle. They didn't offer the sat but I think I will ask.

I had no symptoms with ds1 except for tiredness and a very mild sick feeling whilst driving but this time I'm ridiculously tired and lots of feeling sick (although not actually been sick), random cravings for crisp salad, banana milk and beetroot (not together!)

OTheHugeManatee · 17/05/2015 07:15

It's all about the frankfurters here :D

OTheHugeManatee · 17/05/2015 07:20

Is anyone else really anxious about mc? I have no reason to be, as this is my first pg so I have no history either way, but this baby is so very wanted and I both can't bear the idea of mc and find I can't stop worrying about it Sad

I went for a short (30min) run yesterday and got a tiny bit of spotting after, and FREAKED OUT COMPLETELY. If someone can hand me a grip that would be great.

CharChar2015 · 17/05/2015 07:48

I think it's pretty normal to be anxious manatee - especially if it's your first or if you've had a precious miscarriage. I'd say relax but I know it's not that easy. I won't relax until I hit the 12 week mark this time Confused

ValancyJane · 17/05/2015 08:12

Amy Good idea about swapping lemonade for champagne, I have a friend's wedding coming up next month and will be remembering that one! I got through the hen do without anyone suspecting - put something up on Facebook about feeling ill in the morning, told a long-winded story about OH undercooking chicken, then sipped lemonade all evening - when people asked me later on how I was feeling I convinced them I'd tried a vodka lemonade but it just really hadn't sat right... Think I got away with it!

Parsnip I'm similar today - did a FR this morning and got a good line - but not as strong as the one from two days ago. However, I seem to get better lines late afternoon, am buying another FR today (and swore to OH that it would be my last one... which is exactly what I said a few days ago...) Did an IC yesterday afternoon and got the strongest line I've had so far, so that's reassured me slightly. Are you going to test again later?

Manatee Same, first pregnancy here and no huge family history of miscarriage and I'm worrying big time (see the above obsession over still POAS!). I am constantly worrying about symptoms and that I don't really feel hugely pregnant - this morning my cramping is more period pain than the pinching pain I had a few days ago, and my nipples seem slightly less sore than yesterday - it's utterly ridiculous, but I can't stop worrying. I keep trying to tell myself that worrying won't change it either way (and I may have given the embryo a pep talk about continuing to divide Blush!!). I also keep reminding myself that for the last six months I was worried that I couldn't get pregnant (doctor thought I might have trouble conceiving) so I should just be positive about that... But oh god I can't stop worrying - and googling! So it's not just you :)

MiniTickle · 17/05/2015 08:17

Manatee I'm super nervous about a MC. I've stopped all exercise apart from swimming (less impact) and counting down till the end of first trimester. Have only told two friends so far might tell parents In a couple of weeks when I go and visit them, don't want to do it over the phone.
DH is being very supportive which helps lots.

OTheHugeManatee · 17/05/2015 08:19

Valancy I've been fretting about symptoms too Blush Every time the weird feelings/soreness/whatever subsides for a bit I feel great, then panic 'omg what if this means I'm not really pregnant or something's gone wrong?'.

mappemonde · 17/05/2015 09:06

I am very worried but also feel a bit more accepting that what will be, will be this time. I think pregnancy is one of the few things we have so little control of and it's hard to just wait it out. Having had an ectopic before I know how awful it is when it goes wrong but also that I did nothing differently to when all went well.

It's so hard! I've got my early scan in a few days and will know more then.

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 09:11

Super nervous about miscarriage especially given temp drop and lighter test today. I'm hoping the drop was a one off (and it wasn't below cover line). I'm also hoping that as my stronger bfps were both done with afternoon ur one, that the reason I had fainter lines today was because Ive tested with FMU. AF is only due tomorrow so I will just have to wait and see I suppose! No cramping or anything which I suppose is a good sign.

Lookingforadvice123 · 17/05/2015 09:41

Well done amy, and how nice of the catering staff to bring you a glass of lemonade!

So I'm still in bed despite having been awake for an hour because I feel SO SICK Sad it has been building this last week and I'm 7 weeks tomorrow so I guess it's to be expected. Had takeaway fish and chips last night so I'm wondering if the advice to avoid greasy food is really true, as this is the worst I've felt to date!

Also have a terrible headache, the type I usually get before af, so hope it doesn't mean anything bad!

How is everyone today?

mrsfazruns · 17/05/2015 09:46

Big worries about MC here too!!! Had MMC in dec and terrified!!! Everything feels a bit more "healthy" this time but just keep thinking I'll go to scan and it won't be in there!! It's such a horrible feeling!! I'm
A running/gym addict too and because bleeding last time started after a run then second bleed after the gym Ive associated them together and have not done either since I found out ..... It's all driving me mad!!

Symptom wise .... Nausea really kicked in and couldn't do anything yesterday .... Every time I stood up I though I was going to be sick!! Craving juicy fruit and soooooo constipated!!! Boobs slightly more tender but not too much and EXHAUSTED!! 6w1d today .... And counting x

coffeenut · 17/05/2015 10:07

omg greasy food. stop it. just stop it.

headaches can be the result of a hormones change or surge, def normal during pregnancy.

AmyFlame1986 · 17/05/2015 10:14

looking I know I just told them on the quite and they were so lovely! It's the only thing I was worried about as that was the only time people actually had to see me drink. Also everyone gets so drunk at weddings that by the Middle of dinner no one was looking at me. I was keen to avoid an out right lie 'I'm on antibiotics etc' but having just got married and being a certain age I thought it would be pretty obvious!

I keep taking a lot of pregnancy tests... Which is silly I know but it is to check that the line is still there. AF was due yesterday and has not arrived, also I don't feel how I would when she is due so that's encouragjng!!
Anyone else desperate to see the weeks tick by?

Lookingforadvice123 · 17/05/2015 10:27

I didn't realise there was a whole other page of posts I thought amy's post was the last one Blush baby brain much!

manatee YES I'm so worried about mc in general even though it's my first pregnancy. So many people I know have sadly had at least one mc so it's almost like its the norm. I have anxious days and positive days though, and like amy am just counting down the weeks and wishing time away! 7 weeks tomorrow yey.
