obsessively googling 'bbt drop and FRER lighter than yesterday' Blush

Someone slap me!

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 10:39

looking I know what you mean, nearly everyone I know has had at least one too but I know I would still be gutted if it happens to me.

Also I had a termination when I was 19 at seven weeks and that was all progressing normally as far as I know, so it almost feels like karma if this one is lost, like it's my fault.

ValancyJane · 17/05/2015 10:48

Parsnip Have also spent the morning googling 'FRER line lighter' and variations thereof so you're not alone. Fingers and toes crossed. Don't be so hard on yourself - I imagine you made that decision for good reasons and it's definitely not Karma! Flowers

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 11:03

Valancy thank you, sending good thoughts your way :)

Will taste later this afternoon so will update!

Rollermum · 17/05/2015 11:12

Hey everyone, wow this is a busy thread!

Parsnip please don't beat yourself up or obsess too much (easier said than done I know). I agree is not karma and is not your fault. The universe doesn't work like that.

Welcome to CharChar we have the same age DDs. Lots of us with 19 month old terrors beautiful toddlers Grin

Tonic Waves! Hello and congratulations! Flowers I think I know who I am saying that to...

Would glad twins aren't a total surprise! My sister had twins via IVF and was amazing.

Lookingforadvice I had terrible headaches last time, and took some heavy meds not suitable for pregnancy before I realised (DD is fine). Have had some twinges this time too, but not so bad.

Symptom wise I feel not very pregnant. Less so that before my test. I didn't know I was pregnant til 6 weeks last time, though, so hopefully is just that. I have also heard BF can reduce morning sickness.

Rollermum · 17/05/2015 11:19

Valancy missed your worries on FRER too. Hope you are ok? I have stepped away from all the test because my lines were weird and I just don't want to obsess... Last time it didn't even occur to me to re-test and I was calmer.

Lookingforadvice123 · 17/05/2015 11:27

Ladies step away from all the tests! I'm the worst Anxious Annie and I havent taken one test since my original positive 3 weeks ago! So many things affect how strong the line is, eg how concentrated your wee is. And it doesn't even mean anything, based on my "research" (read: obsessive googling) a test can stay positive for a while after you've miscarried (just found a quick example now - see link below) So it really is no indication of anything. Sending positive thoughts.

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 11:29

just tested again and the line is waaaaaaaaaay darker than this morning's so I guess my FMU is just a bit crap. Still not quite as dark as the one I did yesterday evening but dark enough to reassure me a little, at least until tomorrow's temp!

mrsfazruns · 17/05/2015 12:03

Has anyone else got lower back pains like AF type? X

Tonicandgin · 17/05/2015 12:09

I have less symptoms this time too. Interesting about bf reducing it, but I also think dashing after my 19 month old means I actually don't have time to realise how crap I feel. I'm hoping that will carry me through morning sickness.. I definitely felt sick this morning.

Started my horse pills, aka pregnacare this morning, why are they so bloody massive?! Last time I was obsessive really good at taking folic acid whilst ttc. As this one was a bit of a surprise I've only taken then for the last 3 days which is worrying me. We were going to ttc in a month or two yet, so I'm a bit shocked.

Oh and I agree...STEP away from the tests. They only make you stress and worry, as hard as it is, just try and relax, keep yourself busy.

loveulotslikejellytots · 17/05/2015 12:10

Mrs ivehad cramping like AF is going to come. And pains down my legs which I usually get when AF is due. I'm 6 weeks today, my mum was telling me she got the same thing until about 9 or 10 weeks in all 3 of her (normal) pregnancies. I have read that its quite normal though.

I think the problem is everyone has such a different time during early pregnancy it's hard to rationalise what is normal and what could be abnormal. It offers no reassurance!

coffeenut · 17/05/2015 12:16

yep lots of lower back pains here mrsfaz.

OTheHugeManatee · 17/05/2015 12:18

I'm 6+1 and having low level cramps, not like full blown period pains but like it's about to arrive. It's doing my nut in a bit tbh as I keep expecting to start bleeding which would of course be a disaster. As fas as I can gather it's totally normal but it doesn't stop me fretting. Glad to see I'm not the only worrier Smile

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 12:19

Yep AF style cramps (more discomfort really) here too :) think it's normal

OTheHugeManatee · 17/05/2015 12:24

Still got the metallic taste and feeling pretty ming so hopefully that's a good sign Grin

mrsfazruns · 17/05/2015 12:27

Thank goodness I'm by the only one going mad!! I'm past the point I had my first bleed with my MC so feeling a lot more positive x

goodnessgraciousgouda · 17/05/2015 12:39

mrs faz - we are exactly the same with our dates apparently Grin high five for 6+1 :-)

I've not had too many symptoms either (that I can really feel). Every now and then I get some serious mood swings, I'm very bloated, and fluctuate between feeling okay and some days where I am just exhausted for no reason. Still waking up at ridiculous o'clock to go to the loo in the mornings Hmm

mrsfazruns · 17/05/2015 12:42

High five right back at you!!! The next 5 weeks 6 days can't go quick enough!!

I've been pretty symptom free up till this week .... Yesterday I had the worst nausea in the world and spent the whole day on the sofa .... Today I'm pretty ok apart from the back pain!! X

goodnessgraciousgouda · 17/05/2015 12:44

parsnip and others really worrying about mc - if you look at the beginning of the thread a lot of others were in exactly the same boat when first finding out about the pregnancy. Even if you've never had one before, you see so many people saying about their experiences that it's easy to assume it will happen to you as well.

If you look back through the previous pages there is a link (put up twice) about first trimester and daily percentage rates of miscarriage. A lot of people here found it helpful.

Personally I am still only 6 weeks, so quite worried, but it was a huge reassurance when I got my blood work done last week and could see my hcg levels.

Juniper44 · 17/05/2015 12:44

I did a CB dating test yesterday morning, yet still decided (on a whim) to do an Internet cheapie in the late evening. It came out negative Shock so I had a very unsettled night's sleep, panicking.

Did another frer this morning and there's a nice strong line.

Moral of the story- step away from the tests!

Rollermum · 17/05/2015 13:02

I haven't had an IC positive the whole time!

parsnipbob · 17/05/2015 13:10

Yes ICs can be a bit crap, I am getting positives on them (faint, but getting darker) but know others have had trouble. They have also given me truly evil evap lines in previous cycles!

ValancyJane · 17/05/2015 13:33

Yes I'm okay roller thanks for asking - just bad AF-type cramps (like a lot of others which is reassuring, as it feels like I'll come on at any minute!)

parsnip I'm glad your line was darker and you feel a bit more reassured! I did just buy one more FR to do this afternoon just to check my line is more solid than this mornings (and should really be stronger than the one I did on Friday), and then I promise I'm stepping well away from the tests ladies!

goodness That's reassuring to know - I think I'll read back through the earlier posts now :)

Joey0805 · 17/05/2015 14:55

I've been using a digi once a week to see it go 1-2, 2-3 and then 3+ which happened on this week so I've decided no more testing. I have my early scan on Weds which I'm now quite nervous about. That said, if there's something dodgy id far rather know now. We've still managed not to tell a soul but I will tell my 2 BFs if this scan is ok.

Total sympathy to those with cramping. I've not had any since the bad ones on Monday which were so stressful. I've been feeling progressively sicker though and my boobs have grown so that's reassuring me it's still in there.

Tonicandgin · 17/05/2015 15:12

I'm definitely pg, I want to murder dh for no particular reason..
