I'm 10.1% chance today so nearly 90% likely to be ok. Yey!

Joey0805 · 09/05/2015 12:13

I'm obsessed with that link too...87% chance everything is ok for me today! My boobs were so sore in my sports bra when I went running this morning - that's still my only real symptom. I have been quite tired but I'm busy at work and drinking way less caffeine so hardly surprising I'm tired!

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 12:34

I can't find the link :(. Been scrolling on my phone til my eyes hurt, i must be missing it everytime.

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 09/05/2015 13:02

Is this what you're looking for?

spacefem.com/pregnant/mc.php?m=04&d=11&y=15

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 13:25

Thats the one *maybe....thank you.
So my overall chance is down to 10% apparently. However I'm well aware that this takes no other factors into account. I guess its one if those crazy things we do in a ritualistic sense.

CarrotVan · 09/05/2015 13:30

Just had an awful spell of nausea, hot flush, and dizziness whilst trying to wrangle the toddler in Yo Sushi. Feel awful.

My massive pack of test strips and a nice maternity top (brand new from Asos via ebay so dirt cheap) arrived in the post though.

10.5% risk for me. And I've lost 1.5 lb! This is due to eating badly as we are temporarily without functional kitchen. I miss proper food

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 09/05/2015 13:42

Currently having a slight wave of nausea.

Not weighted myself yet, and also still 28% risk for me.

Browsing ebay for maternity clothes and undies. Any recommendations?

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 14:03

Aww sympathies Maybe and Carrot. Since my ramdom spell of nausea yesterday I've had a çouple more bouts aswell as a definate bleurghhh feeling for all of this morning. I would love to get out in the fresh air and have a good walk but I didnt have room to pack anything waterproof for my trip.Sad The weather has been totally pants. Oh well...back home tomorrow. I hope the flight is a smooth one with feeling queasy. x

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 14:08

ps....scuse typos on this phone raaaa.
I havent dared look at a maternity stuff yet....call me old fashioned but it feels like I will jinx things.

I did allow myself a very cursort glance at the newborn clothes as I floated through Tescos yesterday. Had to snatch myself away quickly lol. ....daft woman x

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 09/05/2015 14:12

I've had a good browse but not bought anything since we found out. I have a few things that were intended as gifts for my nieces but never got given to them, but that was from months ago.

In tk maxx the other day I saw a babygro/bib outfit set thing that was the Very Hungry Caterpillar. I resisted temptation but really hope they still have it when I'm further along!

Chip86 · 09/05/2015 14:20

Hi everyone
Hope you are all haveing a good weekned
Underwear wise great big comfy nickers incase you have c - section, you won't want anything near that area, plus after birth you need to wear pads.
I got my feeding bras from mothercare they do a good range and I have had mine over a year and still doing well.
Trying to be good weight wise my BMI says I am very over weight so need to put on as little as possible this time no eating for two in the first trimester, going to snack on fruit not rubish x

CarrotVan · 09/05/2015 14:27

I'm craving fruit

After my first section the midwives recommended low cut knickers so the wound could breathe but you need sturdy knickers for maternity pads IMO.

Debenhams is pretty good for maternity/ feeding bras

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 14:38

i'm a fan of biiiig knickers lol. anything too low just rolls down my already slightly rounded belly (blushes). I lost over 3 stone last year whilst Dh was away serving for 6 months but since he came back with an injury I think all the stress caused me to comfort eat and I have put on about 2 st. bmi currently at about 29 so needing to keep an eye on it. x

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 14:57

I haven't bought anything yet, I'm bidding on a couple maternity things on eBay though. Dug out my old stuff and had a sift through DS's baby clothes today - so cute!!

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 14:59

i would be starting from complete scratch. Fortunately I'm not bothered (infact would prefer) to use preloved stuff. I already know in my head what I would nt bother with this time around. :)

AlohaMama · 09/05/2015 15:00

After a couple of days last week of feeling hideous last week am now feeling mostly fine, apart from needing afternoon naps. But then that makes me worry - it's horrible feeling sick, but if you're not you worry everything is not ok! Seems like a long time to wait for the first reassuring scan.

Am also realising just how much stuff I'll need to get hold of for this baby (#3), having given everything away after 2 Blush. Every day I remember another thing I used to have and use regularly and will need to replace! Plus other stuff that is in cruddy state having been used by 2.

headlesschicken247 · 09/05/2015 15:26

I'm not buying anything yet. I've had 2 miscarriages recently, one at 10 weeks and the other at 12 and as a result I've got stuff in the loft. Feel like I jinxed it each time, crazy I know. So until I get tithe scan I'm not getting anything

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 15:36

Headless....I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same. 2 mc's at that stage is so tough . I know people say "oh its early...." but for me at 10 weeks I had already bonded.
I will probably wait until at least 20 weeks before buying anything (assuming I get that far). I wouldnt mind picking up one of those dopplers though. They werent around when I had Ds so would really like to be able to hear a heartbeat myself x

Yokyil · 09/05/2015 16:33

How have you all got on with cramping? Much of it? Strong cramps / coming and going? First day of low down cramping and it's scaring the life outta me after mc in January Confused so have been resting up all afternoon though the lying about gives me time to worry

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 09/05/2015 17:13

Yokyil I've had some cramps that come and go. Some strong, some not so strong. Wish it would settle down a bit!

CarrotVan · 09/05/2015 17:14

Might be stretching pains yokyil - if it's your first then those can be quite bad. With subsequent pregnancies I guess the uterus is more flexible or something

I really feel rough today. I hope it's the placenta kicking in and not a bug

mrsfazruns · 09/05/2015 17:31

I've been looking at ebay too but scared to buy anything!!! Boobs are growing at a huge rate though so might need new bras soon!! :-/

Yokyil · 09/05/2015 17:45

Hope so carrot and mrs - after last time the cramping was the beginning of the end, so every twinge I think I'm always gonna be super scared. Can't wait to get a scan and hopefully settle some of my anxiety Confused

FizzyPinkWine · 09/05/2015 17:58

Yokyil, I've had some cramping today. Low down as well, panicking every time I feel it. Just have to keep fingers crossed. I rested a lot this afternoon. Still waiting to hear from consultant about a 6 week scan, I'm 6 weeks on Monday...

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 09/05/2015 18:05

I have cramping most days......sometimes its sharp one sided stabbing pain, other times its ind of just inside my hip bones and tonight it feels just like central af pain...which is the one I hate the most. it seems to me that sort of pain I can only associate with bleeding. But like somebody said earlier. ...a healthy bean will survive through moat things. what will be will be x
