OMG CarrotVan I'm glad I'm not the only one!

CarrotVan · 08/05/2015 11:08

How was your midwife appointment bear?

kep1979 · 08/05/2015 11:57

LOL carrot yep rather moist here too - cue knicker checking on a regular basis!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 08/05/2015 13:35

Carrot Edgar and Kep I'm feeling pretty moist down there too. It's making me paranoid.

Just made my drs appointment. They had a cancellation so it's this afternoon eek! And midwife appointment 1st June.

CarrotVan · 08/05/2015 13:44

I'm still waiting on my appointment letter for the midwives. Hope it goes well this afternoon maybe

Chip86 · 08/05/2015 13:57

Got my doctor appointment on Monday to Grin. Yes all the doctor does is refer you to midwife and get you in the system. First midwife appointment they will ask you lots of questions and tell you about drinking and smoking give you loads of leaflets to read.
I picked up my pregnancy vitamins yesterday so have started on them Grin
And eating at least 2 almonds a day because DH belives they make baby smart Hmm by the end of 9 months I never want to eat another almond ever again Envy

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 08/05/2015 15:33

hello all and big congratulations to newly bfp'd. Still holding out for a positive outcome for *greysar.

its been a few days since I posted....had my hands full with my friends 2 children whilst she is away on honeymoon. Not the best of weeks to be in a strange house been woken at all hours lol. but the end is in sight and I'm glad I have been able to help out.
So for me....5w4d now. Gp appointment booked for Monday and viability scan booked for a week tomorrow. I'm kind of holding out until then (scan) to relax a bit (and even then if all is good it will probably be a temporary relax). The legacy of miscarriage eh :(
My symptoms seem to come and go. Today was the first where I felt slightly Envy ...... stood outside school and there were buses running whilst waiting for their pick ups. Ewwwww....my tummy literally turned at the fumes. I then craved a maccies so treated the little ones to one...but the chips tasted like blood. Now I'm left with a hangover type headache. Guess this could be something or nothing....time will tell.

Ditto to the "moist' feeling too .

Yokyil · 08/05/2015 18:57

Craving a McD's so much...just want salty chips! Surely I can make up for it tomorrow with lots of healthiness then Grin
Peed on another ic - first time test line is stronger than the control line!!

brickiemum2 · 08/05/2015 19:06

Hi, I've stalked followed kep over from ttc after mc. I'm currently 4+1 or 2 with #3 but have a history of recurrent mc. Had my last loss in Feb which was mmc and has made me incredibly nervous. Parking my bum on the edge of the thread but don't think I'll get comfy until I see a heartbeat.

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 08/05/2015 19:13

Welcome brickie Hope you have a healthy 9 months this time.

Yokyil You'll make me want a McD's all weekend now. Might have to convince DH to get me one. Unlikely though as he's not working this weekend and I'd get told off for being naughty Blush

jugglingmonkey · 08/05/2015 19:25

Hi everyone,

Just checking in and saying hi. Not posted for a while but hope everyone okay, anyone had a 12wk scan recently?

6+2 here, nausea kicking in... Very tired... DS waking up at 5am too, yuk!

DH making chicken curry tonight, I'm ravenous but not sure I can stomach it!

OrangeBeehive · 08/05/2015 20:17

Hi everyone,

Just checking in like Juggling...it's been a busy week! Hope you're all well. Greysar I'm keeping my fingers crossed things are ok Flowers

Nothing much to report here - 6 weeks tomorrow. Think my boobs are getting more sore and starting to feel a bit queasy from time to time (but mainly in the evening!). Took a digi the other day and it said 2-3, but that was only 2 days after passing 3 weeks and I used second morning urine instead of first. So will test again over the weekend and hopefully see the magic 3+. Then I will stop doing tests!

Carrot, I am also a bit damp...

It's been a strange couple of weeks. For some reason I thought I would "feel" pregnant straight away but I don't and it's a bit unnerving. I know our babies are only the size of peppercorns or something but I thought I would "feel" something in there if that makes sense! Naive first timer here Blush

wouldleavehomeforIdrisElba · 08/05/2015 21:31

Orange....i feel the same and this is ds4. Can i be excused by the fact that its 18 years since I last had a thb lol.
Majorly emotional this evening....snit and tears the lot Sad

CubanoHabana · 08/05/2015 21:35

I'm still pregnant according to clear blue... In fact 1 week more pregnant... I was never as obsessed with baby #1 either but think it's because I have finally got my head around the sUprising!

Very nauseous today and also very damp (which is what happened last time), but it makes you even more paranoid!

I had no morning sickness with the boy, so could it mean a girl?

On an alternate note, one of the kids at schools school asked if I was pregnant and one of my team guessed....

impatientlywaiting · 08/05/2015 21:49

Congrats Brickie wishing you an uneventful 9 months.

I'm properly starting to come around to the idea of being pregnant now, and getting really excited. With the excitement comes more nerves though. Had a MC before DS at 5 weeks, so I'll be looking forward to getting past these first few months.

coffeenut · 08/05/2015 23:20

congrats brickie! Really feel for all of you who have had recent miscarriages, it makes this time so much harder. My first pregnancy ended in mc at 13 weeks and when I fell pregnant again, I remember I was so paranoid, I barely wanted to leave the house in case it all went wrong. These days I feel more relaxed - I think there's not much I can do either way - if it's meant to be it's meant to be. I know it's hard to think like that though when the pain is still raw. I hope you all have happy healthy pregnancies.

You're all making me want to vom talking about McDonalds Grin

Mothers' day here tomorrow!

carrot I hope your DS is doing better and you can have a rest this weekend.

CarrotVan · 09/05/2015 07:30

He's much better thanks coffee

Happy Mother's Day to you

bearchomp · 09/05/2015 08:49

Good morning all

Just checking in, had a busy few days

Hope everyone is doing ok, welcome to anyone who has joined recently and fingers crossed for a healthy 9mths.
greysar sorry to hear about the bleeding, hope you are ok and being kind to yourself.

I saw the midwife on Thurs and mentioned my brown bleeding and she said it was old blood so just to keep an eye on it.
She has referred me to hospital for booking in appointment.
Feeling sick now and tiredness starting to kick in.
Busy ish weekend planned but hopefully get some early nights.

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 08:54

Congrats brickie

I've had a busy few days, hope everyone is ok! I'm very bloated under my belly button, got a round bit going on that DP keeps rubbing. Need to get the bio oil soon if I'm going to start stretching this soon!

CarrotVan · 09/05/2015 09:28

I bought some really nice Seraphine trousers on eBay this week. Tried them on yesterday and they fit really well but I can't quite believe that I'll fill that bump panel and yet I know I will as I was huge last time. I'm really hoping to keep weight gain to 2 and a half stone this time

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 09:34

I've got on white linen pair from last time but when I tried them on they are basically see through!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 09/05/2015 09:54

Mummyofone I've been quite bloated so far but not too bad today so far.

I'm sure my friend said she used Palmers tummy butter when she was pregnant (pretty sure it was what she described) so I've got a tub of that and some palmers massage lotion for stretch marks. Hopefully they will keep the tiger stripes at bay!

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 10:01

I swore by bio oil so will be getting that. I ended up with a couple of small ones at the bottom of my tum as I went overdue.

Lookingforadvice123 · 09/05/2015 11:12

Morning ladies! I'm glad others are feeling damp, I've had it pretty much since I found out I was pregnant, it's worse during exercise, just got back from a spin class Confused

I'm 5 weeks 5 days today, will be 6 weeks in Mon. Not many symptoms so far other than sore boobs, bloating and wind...but I've gained 2 pounds since before I was pregnant! I've been starving all the time so I really need to watch what I eat, make sure it's all healthy and low fat!

That link about the miscarriage risks is my daily go to when I'm anxious (a lot!), so thanks to whoever posted it Star

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 11:31

looking I posted it but I got it from someone else on another thread. It is great! I dropped under a 1 in 10 chance today. That's 90% of being ok! Grin
