Sorry for not posting more. Wife I hope your scan tomorrow manages to find that heartbeat - fingers tightly crossed for you. And Honey, keeping everything crossed for you too.
I have a private scan booked for tmw which will be 9 weeks (finally won DH over!) and am terrified and excited all at once - like Honey my symptoms seem to have dropped off so I am genuinely worried .
Ah well at least I should hopefully know one way or the other this time tomorrow.

Honey spotting is really really scary but as you say you have had it before and all was fine. You are 11 weeks now so it may be that your placenta has taken over properly and that is why your symptoms have gone, it would be normal for your dates, you are very nearly in the second trimester. Stay positive.

Wifey, Honey, hope all works out ok tmrw.

Wifey, if it helps our friends had a scan at 7 weeks and were told no heartbeat. Went back the following week as hadn't had a bleed. Different doctor, found nice strong heartbeat buried away at back of womb. Keep hoping and we'll be thinking of you.

wifey I've read that the equipment or the technique for finding the heartbeat can be a bit rubbish sometimes - hopefully thats all it is. Good luck today. Xx

I've woken up feeling completely normal today which is freaking me right out! First time I've not struggled with making or eating my breakfast in ages. Bbs are still a bit sore but not as bad as they were. Am 8+4 today... Going to sit tight and wait for symptoms to come back. If nothing by tomorrow I'm going to pay for another scan! Fuck it!

Jebel - you're going to Phuket right? You'll have no trouble at all getting western stodge at your hotel!! There are very few places where you can only get thai food on that Island. We are booking a weekend on Koh Lanta at the end of the month with our neighbours here for some proper 5* chilling. As it's not peak season we have found some amazing discounts on the hotels. Making the most of it before I move home next month to no holidays ever again! Haha

Very early good morning! I'm really sorry to hear about the potentially bad news - I hope everything turns out well today for wifey and honey.

Sounds like there is room for both this thread and a Facebook group, nice. I will be away with little Internet for the next two weeks so there is no point in me setting it up, I wouldn't be able to add people. If someone doesn't start one by the time I'm back I will.

honey I have bloody discharge too. I bled masses in my last pregnancy so I 'know' that things can turn out ok but am feeling really worried. I am 8+6. I lost symptoms at 11 weeks last time so am hopeful that all is fine for you.
