With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Exactly Bat! I feel like sitting on the sofa scoffing everything in sight is something to be proud of Grin

Toast85 · 25/03/2015 17:50

Bat I'm also in the first trimester worry camp.
Just remember that there aren't too many stories online telling you about the thousands of totally normal uneventful pregnancies that end in beautiful healthy babies. Whereas it's so easy to find a sad story. Yes it happens but not to the vast majority of us.
On a lighter note- who was it who had an itchy nipple the other day? I had this today at work, couldn't really walk around the hospital with my hand down my top could I? Thought about some kind of sneaky poke about with a pen, decided that could be dangerous and opted for a shoulder shimmy which seemed to sort me out Grin

willywallace · 25/03/2015 18:54

Oh my nipples are always itchy Toast, drives me mental!

minimooo · 25/03/2015 20:09

I'm in the itchy nipple club too! Blush

Had growth scan today. Mini-minimoo is still measuring small, but they're not concerned about her as the growth is consistent and she's in proportion. She's estimated at 4lbs 4oz and I'm almost 36 weeks, so she will likely be a diddy little thing when she's born! At least all the tiny clothes my dm has bought will fit her.

Had a bit of sad news that my nan passed away last night (df's mum) I'm not at all close with df or his family but still sad news to hear nonetheless Sad So there'll likely be a funeral to go to in the next week or two.

lemon that's so interesting re the vaccinations - I've never even thought about half the stuff you mentioned. Definitely food for thought.

bat try not to worry (easier said than done, I know) like popz says, a good scan at 8 weeks means that the mc risk drops dramatically.

mountaingirl01 · 25/03/2015 20:20

I have felt so sick this afternoon viroids :( haven't had sickness like this till this week, I though the second trimester was supposed to be nicer?!

sorry to hear about your nan moo, but glad your little one is growing merrily

willywallace · 25/03/2015 20:40

Sorry to hear that Mini.

Hope you feel better soon Mountain.

deeplybaffled · 25/03/2015 21:13

mountain - i was exactly the same! Got away pretty lightly with the whole nausea thing until about weeks 13 /14, which was also when the tiredness really started to kick in too. I think I'm suffering from some kind of delayed pregnancy reaction to the whole thing - at this rate, I'll be feeling the first kicks in the third trimester. ....

did want to ask for some advice though - been struggling a bit with hip and lower back pain for a good few weeks now. Can anyone advise if this is normal at about 16 weeks? I'm quite worried about what will happen as bump gets bigger if I've got issues now.Confused

LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 21:37

Evening viroids

bat I know it's so worrying in that first trimester, but try to remember that barely anyone is going to start a thread saying 'I'm pregnant, feel fine and nothing is wrong'. Which is why it's so much more likely to see upsetting posts online. Honestly please try not to worry. Both my dsil have had no symptoms whatsoever in first trimester, but they are both definitely pregnant (one 8 weeks and one 30 weeks) and the one who is 30 weeks definitely felt her symptoms later!

I completely sympathise though because I went through the same worry and feeling that I was waiting for something to go wrong. Hang on in there, first trimester feels like it lasts forever but it doesn't.

I'm definitely in itchy nipple club! If I tweak them it feels better but I can't exactly sit at work tweaking my nips!

Did presentation this morning, all good!

Oh mini I'm so sorry :( That's very sad. Are you ok? That's great to hear that your wee one is doing well.

deeply I think you're at the point of the round ligament pain too. I had loads of weird cramps, twinges and aches - it's your womb expanding as baby has growth spurt, perfectly normal. Go look up round ligament pain and you'll see what I mean. Keep an eye on the hip pain though - I've just been told that what I think is hip dysplasia could potentially be pelvic girdle pain. Very common but painful. Speak to your midwife if it continues.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 21:39

Baby is a wriggle bottom.

Also my phone is randomly autocorrecting words. 'You' is now 'zebras' and 'love' is 'wibbly'.

It's making life interesting. I asked my dh 'did zebras have a brownie?', followed by 'I wibbly zebras'

deeplybaffled · 25/03/2015 21:53

Thanks, la - just googled, but sadly pain in wrong place for that:( it's sacroiliac pain and joint based, spreading into my hips, unfortunately. Maybe physiotherapy might help?

really a bit bothered by it -walking hurts, and after dtd pretty sedately, been paying for it since. Meh!

on the bright side, i wibbly brownies!

LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 21:57

It sounds like a chat with the midwife would help. Are zebras not due 16 week appointment?

LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 21:57

Ffs!!!! Are Y O U not bloody zebras!

gaggiagirl · 25/03/2015 22:05

Zebra! Haaaaaaaaaaaa!
Have we heard from tee today?
Were on holibobs this week in filey a seaside resort in a caravan beachside holiday lodge. I feel like I'm constantly at the bloody kids club. I might punch Bradley bear and Roary tiger. I drank a giant green slushy tonight. My tummy is in disagreement.

With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!
LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 22:07

Mmmmm slushies!

I wibbly slushies

Hope tee is ok

Toast85 · 25/03/2015 22:08

Deeply I'm gonna suggest physio for zebras you, like I said before it is better to try and sort it early on rather than wait for it to get worse. zebras You may have access to specialist women's health/obstetric physios or maybe local outpatients clinic but they should be able to have a look at what is going on and suggest ways to manage it as zebras you get more preggers.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 22:10

Haa ha! Toast zebras are hilarious! Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 25/03/2015 22:11

Seriously why is it doing this?!

Fleurchamp · 25/03/2015 22:39

Ha! You ladies do make me laugh Grin

Need it tonight, have had a long day and got home at 9.30pm to be greeted by blood all over my house. We are having a new bathroom installed and clearly someone has had an accident. Two tea towels and a white (!) hand towel are write offs and so I fear is half my stair carpet. It's on the walls and banisters too. Like something out of a horror film.

I feel bad for the poor guy who has hurt himself but a little wipe down by his mate wouldn't have hurt Sad or a bit of warning!

willywallace · 25/03/2015 22:45

Has Mr La been changing settings on your phone for a laugh? That's so funny. Grin

Deeply, do you get pain there normally? I do and it was definitely worse at some points in pregnancy. But if this is a new thing for you, maybe refer to physio? I found yoga helped.

DulcetMoans · 25/03/2015 22:46

I wibbly zebras too! What a weird autocorrect! Although you probably type zebras more than me in your line of work la.

That is really poor fleur, did. They not leave a note or anything? You could be really shaken by mystery blood on your house!

The worry is normal bat, just try and defeat it! We all went through it and continue to. Should have heard me panicking about baby not kicking hard enough last night! There will always be something.

Bit mixed news around scan there mini but overall sounds ok? Do they check you again?

Do you get access to physiotherapy or anything deeply? I know our hospital you can self reefer for that sort of thing.

Ok working from home rest of the week as having new windows fitted. Sounds like fun but can't even lay in the bed or wear PJs as they will be there.

ZylaB · 25/03/2015 23:07

I just woke the baby up laughing at zebras and wibbly Grin

lildottie · 25/03/2015 23:13

haha love the autocorrect fails la!!

lildottie · 25/03/2015 23:13

or should I say I wibbly the autocorrect fails Wink Grin

RPopz · 25/03/2015 23:16

LOL La - someone's customised your settings for you Grin

batfish · 26/03/2015 03:55

toast it was me with itchy nipples, horrendous!
