Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Congrats boo that's amazing news and a lovely name!

Hmm drinking. I have not banned completely but tbh I have gone off it anyway. The last drink I had was Christmas but not intentionally. We actually have a bottle of our favourite red in the kitchen which we bought to celebrate our anniversary but it hasn't been opened Shock

I would feel odd ordering an alcoholic drink in a pub now that I have a bump.

Pisghetti · 22/03/2015 19:27

Interesting you said that Chat - I've never really liked french wine and therefore thought I must be some sort of charlatan! I do like a Pouilly Fume though.

I'm a big fan of Vina Maipo Chilean merlot, it's very smooth.

There was a bottle of barefoot cab sauv on the dinner table at mils today. I decided that I'd find it hard to stop at a sip so had none.

Plug Pom Poms Pis Grin that's got to go on the next Fred title!

gaggiagirl · 22/03/2015 19:38

boo well done! I thought my 6 hour labour with DD was super speedy, I want a labour like yours.

mountaingirl01 · 22/03/2015 20:24

Yay! Congratulations boo Grin

RPopz · 22/03/2015 20:33

Christ Boo! Were you induced last time as well? Or was it an impromptu home birth?? They told me I'd laboured fast going 5cm in 5 hours! the liars Enjoy your well earned snuggles in any case!

ChatEnOeuf · 22/03/2015 21:43

Popz, 5cms in 5hrs is just fine!, especially with your first.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't normally turn down a nice glass of French wine, but it's almost all they sell here. Gets dull pretty quickly. Though the wine shop over the road from us are v good, DH's tipple this week looks a good one - a zinfandel-pinotage from SA. I may even try a bit Smile

deeplybaffled · 22/03/2015 21:52

Congratulations, boo - lovely news and hope you aren't too shellshocked by the speed of it all!

deeplybaffled · 22/03/2015 22:25

purple - I'm probably being techno - incompetent, but don't seem to be able to find the Facebook group....how do i know if i am added?

deeplybaffled · 22/03/2015 22:35

Sorry, complete techno-incompetence now resolved. Please ignore previous rramblings and move along. Nothing to see here.BlushBlush

LaLaLaaaa · 22/03/2015 22:46

You should have an email deeply, or if you go to groups on Facebook the invitation should be there.

Boo I'm in awe of your labour calmness! You seem so chilled Smile hope you're enjoying a rest and some cuddles.

I'm pooped. Been tiring weekend. It's been nice seeing mil but I'm ready for my space back. I don't feel like I've had a break. I think the funny turn I had this morning might be related to lying on my back this morning as it was just afterwards. I read that dizziness can be result of pressure being put on blood vessel when you lie on back which is why they recommend lying on left. I sleep on left now but I was reading on my back this morning. I went back to bed for an hour on my left, got up and felt absolutely fine!

Mil finished the vodka and 4 bottles of wine. She also drank the full 8 pack of diet coke and sent dh out for more. Been nice having her but the cats have been very stressed coz she won't allow them in spare room when she's staying. Despite having had cats her whole life apparently if any hairs were on bed she would wheeze so she shuts the door. I then have two very upset cats who prowl miaowing loudly because that's their favourite window to watch the world from and they don't understand why they've been shut out. She then remarks that they are spoiled. No, they just have a routine like anyone else and have favourite places, which you are disturbing, so they feel unsettled. It gets wearing having to get up and retrieve them from where they are yowling outside the closed door :( I don't understand why people can't get that animals are like people and if you disturb routine that they have every day on your fleeting once a year visit then don't be surprised if they are not happy. I heard her on phone to her dh saying 'the cats are doing their usual'.

I feel bad coz then they are being a pain and won't settle which looks awful but I just want to say 'if you just let them in there this wouldn't be happening'

I think she thinks I'm neurotic but I don't care. We have our quiet little life with our furballs and they have a routine.

I'm going to have to go to dr about my hips. I was born with hip dysplasia as I've mentioned and it was splinted but when I was 7 I started horse riding and if caused problems. My hip would be sore and pop out lots. Went for multiple examinations and dr said I have shallow socket and need to exercise to keep it healthy. If I tried to walk long distances it was very sore.

So I've always done dancing and stuff to keep my hip in good shape and it's been fine for years. But with pregnancy I'm not doing as much exercise and I'm carrying extra weight, so it's starting to hurt again. It's popping out just now in bed.

Do you think this will affect whether I'm able to give birth naturally? It hadn't occurred to me before now because it's been fine for 10 years or more. But today it's very sore and if I flex my leg the hip pops out.

Massive essay sorry!!!!!!

Night night!

LaLaLaaaa · 22/03/2015 22:47

I love a nice Bordeaux and I love two hands lily and barefoot. Also pinotage and Viognier. Yum.

gaggiagirl · 22/03/2015 23:59

I like Ribena Grin

willywallace · 23/03/2015 03:33

Grin Gaggia

You're all so posh knowledgeable about wine. I know nothing, except that I also don't really like French stuff.

La, I'm surprised they left your hips like that when you were little, that sounds sore Sad . I've no clue about the labour question although maybe a labour position is quite good for your hips? Can you self refer to physio and maybe they can give you some specific exercises to help?

TheBooMonster · 23/03/2015 04:21

la when they do internals they make you put your ankles together and flop your knees out, it's really not great on your hips, so I would definitely bring it up again.

batfish · 23/03/2015 04:46

Ouchy la the hip thing sounds painful, I would definitely ask them about it. Hopefully it won't be a problem but best to know now so you can decide on your options.

teejayem · 23/03/2015 05:49

Opinions please viroids; I've just got up for my scheduled 5.30 wee and I have brown spotting when I wipe. It's not loads and not painful, but there are/ were some quite noticeable bits in it. (Bleugh) I know it's old blood, no gushes of fluid or red or anything. Baby is moving around okay; no cramping or anything, do you think it's because I've probably overdone it this weekend? (No shagging either so isn't irritable cervix) or can placentas move back South after they go north?! ? I'm going to call midwife when I get up just in case... Anyone else had this? SPD is especially bad this morning too, monday can do one already. Confused

Toast85 · 23/03/2015 06:01

Ouchie about the hips la Hmm - there will be specific exercises you can do to strengthen the muscles around your hip joints and help stabilise the joint- I would definately try to get a physio referral ASAP though as you will need time to build their strength up, rather than wait until it's got worse.

Oh tell me about in laws and cats! You know how some people just don't understand cats? Yeah, that. So they always comment how spoilt she is- no she is just a cat who genuinely loves a big snuggle and we have no reason to deny her that. But it's on her terms and when she wants space we give it to her. So when you try to force her to play and only get a disdainful look in return, or when you keep stroking her and trying to get a loving reaction out of her despite getting no affection in return, don't be offended when she gets fed up of being poked at and swipes at you. It's sort of funny, but winds me up a little as the PiLs always comment about how spoilt she is- no she is just a cat with an individual personality! They're more 'dog' people really.

LaLaLaaaa · 23/03/2015 06:48

I only know wine coz I was a bartender in fancy hotel wil Grin otherwise I'm normally common as muck!

I'll speak to dr about hips. They were fine when I was little but I started horse riding and wrecked them! My fault I guess!

willywallace · 23/03/2015 06:58

La physio referrals take ages, I'd phone today.

Tee I don't know what it could be but definitely phone up and ask advice. I'd be inclined to phone triage as they're 24 hours.

LaLaLaaaa · 23/03/2015 07:00

Tee I missed your post sorry :( I don't think you should worry as it's brown but best to ring and get checked.

Pisghetti · 23/03/2015 08:02

Definitely get checked out Tee although brown probably is nothing worrying.

BabyPis is on the move! Waters gone and having short but frequent contractions. Exactly 41 weeks today Grin

DulcetMoans · 23/03/2015 08:03

That's not what you want to see tee but I would call midwife first thing. It's probably fine, not sure why it happens later in pregnancy but sure there is a reason.

You do all know a lot about wine! Those could be made up words for all I know but you sound like you know what you're talking about. I even hate ribena gaggia. I'm a coke professional though!

Do you ever suffer with hips when having smear etc la? Position sounds similar to what boo described. Worth mentioning for advice I think. Your poor cats as well, it is upsetting when you can see they are displaced and people don't understand. My old boy passed away 18mnths ago now and had cat dementia so used to cry if he couldn't find you and visitors would moan about his being so loud. It wasn't his fault, we knew his routine so knew what he wanted and it's his house! Silly guests! At least it's temporary and they can have their window back this week.

Can babies get stuck in a position? This one woke me up for the first time yesterday morning as it was booting in the same place and again and again when I was on my side. I rolled over and it seemed to free it up to move. Thought maybe it had worked it's way into a corner and got stuck!

DulcetMoans · 23/03/2015 08:05

Bloody x-post with important post again!

Yay pis! How you getting on?! Still at home bouncing through them? 'My cervix is open, my mind is free, my baby is ready to meet me!' (I made it less sweary!)

teejayem · 23/03/2015 08:13

Woohoo pis! Bouncy bouncy! waves pluggy Pom poms

Spotting has stopped, going to ring mw at 9.
