With our swamp fanjos and supermarket jobbies it's all going on in our knickers. It's a wonder our men agree to deliver the prostaglandin injections but then we are the 24th Just Shagging Grads!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 24th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is herein its 41st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs herefor once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

:( that's very sad bat

mountaingirl01 · 21/03/2015 17:17

I finally got out and got myself a foof wax today, she took quite a lot off- poor thing looks a bit baldy! Shock

Should I be having a bit of a bump now? (14+2) I seem to start of the day without and then it grows! Felt very very sick last night, which was my first real sickness moment, but this morning I can definitely feel my fundus more than before so I think it was my uterus pushing everything?!

I don't know the way it works in maternity, but I always automatically give anti emetics with iv morphine

LaLaLaaaa · 21/03/2015 17:21

mountain I was the same, just seemed to have bump in afternoon to evening, but it popped out around 16 weeks.

LaLaLaaaa · 21/03/2015 17:22

I can't see my foof anymore!

lildottie · 21/03/2015 17:40

had to come in and lol at the cross ginger ga, that's bloody hilarious! she's going to be a handful when she's a teenager!

good luck boo! hope all goes well.

PiS hope the pumping helps!

DulcetMoans · 21/03/2015 17:52

Yay boo! You can cheer on those ladies at least in the mean time. Have a muffin in the mean time.

ga does she ever give a reason about why she was in the oven?!

My bump defo changes size mountain and is bigger in the evening. Friend told me it could be baby position as it moves the more you are upright in the day. I blame food!

That is sad bat but that's the risk of those monthly buses in the early stages. Hope you aren't too shaken up about it.

Lots of telly shouting in the dulcet household today. Nearly over though and then we need to rush out to a birthday party. There's a hog roast, I can eat that right??

So much of my weekend runs around the bloody sport!

Toast85 · 21/03/2015 17:54

Ga, did the cross ginger one have any reason to give as to why she was in the oven? That's pretty hilarious.
Bat that is sad. Wonder who that was from the October group. What a nightmare. The same thing happened to someone I work with last year, it was so sad.

mountaingirl01 · 21/03/2015 17:56

Ohhh I want hog roast now!

Toast85 · 21/03/2015 17:56

Oh my goodness dulcet, hog roast?? Yummm. Don't think there's 'owt wrong with a hog roast unless it's still oinking.

Purpleball · 21/03/2015 18:11

Oooh I love a hog roast!

Ga did you take a photo?

Bat that is so sad, the poor girl Sad

La that sounds like a lovely Saturday. Tell your MiL that tiny babies need orthopaedic support!

We're off to MILs tomorrow for late lunch. Hoping BIL will help DH widen the drive so we can get a pram down it without moving the car.
We got quoted £900 for digging out a strip of grass, putting sand down and a dozen flags. Bloke reckoned he needs a skip (which we already said he doesn't) and it would take 2 days!

gaggiagirl · 21/03/2015 18:13

DD said she was only playing in the oven. As you do. Kids have got crap excuses for stuff.
We went to see SpongeBob. Antonio Banderas was in it, thank fuck for him and m&ms to distract me.

batfish · 21/03/2015 18:17

toast it is auntiedee if you remember her posting, very sad.

I won't lie that it has made me feel slightly uneasy after I've been feeling so much happier since my 9 week scan but I can't cope with going back to panicking like I was so I'm just going to not let myself think negative thoughts! Next scan 1st April so not long until I get to see the (hopefully healthy) bean again Smile

batfish · 21/03/2015 18:22

Mmm totally jealous of the hog roast! We did have a bbq today however and mr bat although can't cook anything else at all makes a mean steak so even though it had to be well done it was delish!

We told our good friends today too and she is really into second hand stuff - which is absolutely fine but she has already said she has tons of stuff to pass on to me and I'm so polite I'm already worried about what if she tries to give me stuff I don't like! She is SO lovely and generous but we don't always have the same tastes and I will be so worried of hurting her feelings if I say no to anything as she is the sweetest person. She did offer my friend a second hand breast pump - I'm all for second hand stuff but a breast pump?! Shock

Purpleball · 21/03/2015 18:36

I've been offered a breast pump by SIL, I'm ok as I'll sterilise it and I know her

Toast85 · 21/03/2015 18:37

Bat the odds are very low if you've had a good scan at 9 weeks- think it's less than 2% chance. That's what I'm reminding myself anyway. But the thought is usually not far from my mind either. There will always be something to worry about though and I'm trying to keep a lid on it as much as possible- and as ga has shown us helpfully today- even when they have arrived they will still be a constant source of concern!! Grin

DulcetMoans · 21/03/2015 18:39

Sorry viroids, I should know better than to mention food to a bunch of pregnant/recently unpregnant/currently being unpregnanted viroids.

Try not to let it worry you too much bat. It is scary and horrible when it happens but odds are still very much in your favour. What happens in someone else pregnancy does not mean it will happen in yours. We will count down the days with you!

If she wants to play at it proper gaggia give her some gloves and cleaner next time!

Did you walk far la or keep it more reasonable?

batfish · 21/03/2015 18:44

Ah maybe I shouldn't see a breast pump as a personal item then purple - just seemed a bit yuck to me but yeah like you say if you know the person and it's all clean then I suppose I shouldn't be grossed out by it. I'm very lucky that I have such a lovely generous friend who is so excited for us and wants to help out so I shouldn't worry about what if she gives me things I don't want, should just be grateful that I have her support.

Indigoblue2 · 21/03/2015 18:54

bat my next scan is 1st April too, we can be scan buddies Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 21/03/2015 18:56

Mmmmm...hog roast...and I'm vegetarian!

We walked a short bit over some fields and I felt fine, then went into arundel for a browse which was lovely. We've just eaten some farmers market feta, tomato, pine nut and spinach pies and she's back on the wine but we are getting on fine!

Have a lovely time tonight dulcet and tee!

Gaggia I love sponge bob!!!

Bat first tri is awful due to the worry but you've had a good scan and they say scan showing hb after 8 weeks is very positive. Try not to get sucked in to the anxiety and stay off the buses if they make you worried.

How you doing boo? Thinking of you!

gaggiagirl · 21/03/2015 19:05

My sister got my breast pump and I intend to get it back for this one. Its a tommee tippee hand pump, £9.99 worth every penny!

LaLaLaaaa · 21/03/2015 19:11

I'm going to get breast pump later on - was it you guys who suggested waiting to see if I actually need it?

ZylaB · 21/03/2015 19:35

I do use mine, for getting a bottle so DH can feed her on a weekend evening once so I get 4 hours uninterrupted sleep! Also using it now to get some to mix the gaviscon powder with cos I didn't really want to do it with water and if I do it with breast milk she'll take it from a cup before a proper feed, which is good. However, I don't know what others find, but I don't get anywhere near as much milk by pumping as H does by feeding properly, so it takes me a while to get enough, and multiple pumping sessions. Mornings are most productive for me!

willywallace · 21/03/2015 19:35

I reckon you'll use it for first baby la unless you choose not to bf. I never get time now but did it virtually every day last time. Get one with a manual option. I'm missing that this time.

Ah the conundrum of how to put the toddler to bed whilst the baby wants held. Single parents are amazing.

RPopz · 21/03/2015 19:47

Hope you're getting on ok Boo! And hope the in labour ladies get moved out to the labour ward soon... must be a bit off putting for you!!

Minigaggia reminds me of my nephew who disappeared for ages once... only to be found in the shower cubicle with his buggy... apparently it was "school" Grin

That is sad Bat ... it's the unfortunate thing about those freds. There's so many people on them that statistically some scary stuff is likely to happen to a few. (A lady on mine had a stillborn boy. It was devastating Sad) Like the others say though, a hb at 8 weeks puts your mc risk right down

Enjoy the hog roast dulce

RPopz · 21/03/2015 19:51

I got a breast pump after DS was born. Never really got into the habit of using it... first off he was always cluster feeding and never had a chance to express! Now he feeds less but I just can't be arsed. Plus he won't take a bottle anyway (because of my lack of consistency tbf).... Hmm Maybe get a cheap manual one for now and then once babyLa arrives see how you get on with expressing.
