10 sheets.
i actually lost four pounds this month. i am so not worried about it. this baby is in a very plush host. super comfortable, i am sure. i have plenty of pounds to spare.

pebblemum · 24/10/2006 19:24

I forgot about TPT too. Have just measured and im 9.5 squares at 10wks which means ive grown half a square since last week. I have changed loo roll so maybe this one has smaller squares or maybe its just wishful thinking, if i carry on putting on half a square each week i'll end up using the whole roll before by the time i give birth!!

mummymelling · 24/10/2006 19:24

Jess i lost loads of weight with my lost pg ,all through stress etc and DS arrived 8lbs and gorgeous so i wouldnt worry about the loss, unless youre super skinny, and when i say loads of weight the week after i delivered id lost in total 4.5 stones [14lb to a stone]

moomimin · 24/10/2006 19:29

hehe you ladies make me chuckle.

jess it's moo mi (as in me) min.

Sorry just thought I'd try to help out on that one as i get sooooo annoyed if I'm reading a book and there is a name in it I can't say.

mummymelling · 24/10/2006 19:30

Pebblemum my firstpg ,my folks measured me on xmas bay as a joke [DS was born 1st feb weighing 9lb8oz] and the tape measure just met 60inches!!!!!, almost as round as i was tall [im 5ft2"] and i still had 5-6 weeks to go, but i only put on 1.5 stone with him, but boy did i have a belly overhang afterwards[tmi sorry]

aprilmeadow · 24/10/2006 19:31

Jess i'm so glas you asked that question! I have been sat here trying to work out how to say moomimin! Thanks M for setting us straight

OP posts:
moomimin · 24/10/2006 19:40

hehe, glad it's helped. I'll tell you where it comes from: dd's name is Madison.

We call her Maddie, which became maddie Moo.
Which became, Moo Moo's.
Which became Moomin or Moomi (said as in moo me)

When I had to choose a name for here I tried moomin but it wouldn't let me have it as it is used, so i put the two together and got Moomimin.

Useless info for you, but I feel better in the comfort that my name won't annoy you each time you read it. Even if I do. lol

aprilmeadow · 24/10/2006 19:47

ah thats lovely! mine is really boring. Was due in April and looked out my office window and saw a meadow!

My ds is Jack and we call him Jackanory, which i turn into nory or macanory. When he was a baby he used to flap his arms and legs a lot so we called him flapjack

jessinwa · 24/10/2006 19:52

i am so glad you all are hanging out on here in your evening! although it keeps me from doing laundry, dishes, hoovering, tidying up, showering, etc... my most important task is to hide all of my secret purchases i made in dh's absence. it only totals to about one hundred dollars, but we have been on a very tight budget lately. hope dh doesn't mind.

jessinwa · 24/10/2006 19:53

my nickname comes from jess, my name, and where i live, washington state. so boring. jess-in-wa.

puppydavies · 24/10/2006 20:10

thanks for the welcome guys. am currently cwtshed up under a blanket with laptop and cat, but will get around to mummifying myself with looroll next time am forced to move, promise does it matter what brand?

my stats info: i'm in s wales, have a daughter 3yrs, edd 31 may

my username is after one of dd's stuffed toys, i was torn between that and her imaginary friend lucy the camel. aprilmeadow yours isn't boring at all, it's very uplifting and serene.

MKG · 24/10/2006 20:13

At least you are semi creative. My nickname is my initials. Marta K. Garcia. I suck at making up names and would never remember it anyway.

pebblemum · 24/10/2006 21:50

My name is boring too. When i was younger i got called pebble (my surname was stone)and now im a mum so im pebblemum. I found it hard to choose a name, any decent ones i thought of were already used so i went back to basics.

mummymelling-with ds2 i showed quite early but nowhere near as much as this. Ds1 was the best, i didnt show for 5months and even then i had a nice neat bump at the end. With ds2 i still looked pg the day after giving birth

Does anyone remember the Moomins tv prog (that was what i thought of when i first saw Moomimin). They were strange fluffy creatures that lived in a garden. I used to get up early every sunday to watch them

puppydavies · 24/10/2006 22:03

never saw the telly programme but i love the books and so does dd. tove janssen wrote some adult books too and they all have that innocent but fantastical and faintly menacing air, fab

pebblemum · 24/10/2006 22:32

OOps pg brain got muddled they werent fluffy at all were they? For some strange reason i was getting confuse between moonmins and the flumps (doh) Still liked the moomins though, didnt realise you could get the books, am now off to have a look for them on amazon

redbullbloodandbump · 25/10/2006 07:39

had our 1st scan yesterday, everything is good the scan lady said the baby has a very strong heart beat, ds sat their holding my hand telling me its ok and thats his baby!!

Morning ladies...REDBULL have you got any photos of the scan? well done to little bull for being good, is asd similar to adhd or am i totally going off on a tangent????
I should have known better than saying the ms was gone HA!!! its still there ,not as bad only if i dont eat but oddly enough it was quite reassuring seeing as we havent had our scan yet xx

moomimin · 25/10/2006 08:36

Morning all. except mkg and jess, hope you are sleeping well.!

Thats great news redbull, it's much more relieving once that scan is done, and well done to ds.

Pebblemum, I loved the moomins, even the cartoons they did not so long ago always had that misty, earey look to the screen. They were quite cute though. Oh btw my mothers maiden name was Stone too.

Good luck today jucylucy.

mummymelling · 25/10/2006 08:44

Morning Moomimin, looks like were the only ones up, expect the others are on their way to work lol. Are you an hour in front of us??its 8.45am here

twelveyeargap · 25/10/2006 08:58

Morning Ladies. I start work between 7 and 8 so I'm here!

redbullbloodandbump · 25/10/2006 09:05

yes we had 3 scan pictures so ds has his own, was going to laminate it for him but dont know if it will be ok as it says on it, this picture may deteriate under plastic.

ASD is Autistic Spectrum Dissorder, some children can have ASD and ADHD allthough they are not the same, allthough ds has his problems he is really happy about the baby and tells strangers "my mommy got baby in tum"!! he even chose a toy elephant for the baby yesterday from mothercare, he screamed "my baby want that", hes going to be a brilliant big brother

mummymelling · 25/10/2006 09:23

REDBULL, as soon as i posted the message i realised what asd is, DOH, i used to teach adults with ld until a few months ago, this is what pg has done to my brain lol, now i just do relief work in a residential home to keep my hand in and cus i cant keep away ,i love the work so much, challenging but brilliantly satisfying. Your little man sounds sooo sweet ,bless him xx

redbullbloodandbump · 25/10/2006 09:24

thanks mummymelling he is very special

mummymelling · 25/10/2006 09:25

just a thought why dont you scan the pic in to the pc and then print one off for him to laminate or take it to photocopy shop to se if they can do it for you xx

puppydavies · 25/10/2006 09:28

DON'T laminate it! not with heat anyway. iirc they're printed on heat sensitive paper so laminating can turn them completely black
