Sorry to everyone suffering with various ailments.

Apple please take it easy. Hopefully it wasn't anything serious though but the doctors I saw in hospital said I've been pushing myself far too hard at work and that didn't help with the bleeding. I've had a bit more brown blood today but my cervix feels sore so I think it's just from all the internals I had last couple of days. I was discharged from hospital last night, thank God.

applecore0317 · 07/02/2015 09:24

So pleased you've been discharged now turquoise. Hope you are taking some time off to get well again. Not surprised your cervix is sore. I promise I will take it easy, no work till Tuesday now and thankfully only a four day week and have cancelled my plans for today and tonight

Tits sorry you're feeling so weepy Flowers

plinky wish I could punish DH with an 18 month old, may have to get my Aunty to bring her kids up lol

leanne963 · 07/02/2015 09:38

Oh tits I am so sorry :( That does not sound god at all!do you have a dehumidifier? I had to get one as my allergies were awful at night! My DP is the clumsiest guy ever so the smashing cups thing I can relate to!! Big hug!!!!!

Oh apple play some really loud music?! Make him feel worse? Lol luckily my partner isn't a big drinker but his farts recently have been driving me insane. Keeps farting in the bedroom just before bed and making it stink and I can't breath then when I spray fabreeze he moans that it smells chemically. Argh! I will also look at the support you mentioned! Thank you :)

applecore0317 · 07/02/2015 09:57

Oh god Leanne, I would hate that! Thankfully he has NEVER farted in front of me. Have only ever heard one creep out when he is asleep ha ha

You will have to pay him back with some horrible nappies when your Little one arrives :D

Justyouwaitandsee · 07/02/2015 10:02

Hey ladies,

Hope all of you having a tough time will be able to take things easy today / this weekend.

Now the windows are done, my DH has begun ripping out the bathroom. Feels good at least to be making some progress. Baby's room is much warmer since the new window went in, so hoping that it won't be long before we are ready to start decorating! And don't get me started on how nice it is going to be to be able to relax in a nice warm bubble bath!

Chookford · 07/02/2015 10:17

turquiose glad to hear you have been discharged, hope it all settles down now and you take it easy the rest of the pregnancy.

tits hope you feel better soon, you may just need a good breakdown, get it all out of your system then you will feel better.

Sorry to hear those of you having trouble with DH coming home drunk and waking you up.. I hate it when my dh does that to me luckily it's not often at all anymore!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

leanne963 · 07/02/2015 10:27

Haha apple i just said to my DP that your partner has never darted in front of you and he was gobsmacked hahah 'how is that possible?!?! I do try to exit a room before I do them' haha I don't think men understand that smell is a women's number one aphrodisiac hahah

leanne963 · 07/02/2015 10:37

I sent this to him last night....

May 2015 - thread 6 - third trimester, here we come!
applecore0317 · 07/02/2015 11:00

glad the windows are all done justyou and everythings is nice and toasty again :)

Lol Leanne, I must be very lucky. Love that picture you sent him

SmileyScooby · 07/02/2015 11:04

Apple, RacheyG and Leanne totally sympathise! Couple weekends DH went to pub and was steaming drunk and reeked of booze and was snoring his head off and taking up most of the bed whenever I went to the loo he took some more. I got annoyed and shoved him hehe he is also one of those who decides to fart when the light has gone off just when I've got comfy and I end up basically eating it!! And apple you are lucky re the farts mine just lets it go whenever (but never in front of others just me...how privileged am I! grrrr)

Turquoise glad you've been discharged :)

Tits hope it eases (pain and tears)

Just glad windows done, hope it won't be too long before you can have that bubble bath!

Having a lazy morning then some work this afternoon, cleaning and school stuff fun fun fun!

applecore0317 · 07/02/2015 12:41

this is mine, pretty thick... Hmm

Justyouwaitandsee · 07/02/2015 12:50

Thanks applecore - the windows look great! It was a big project as the last owner put full length windows in every room, including the two bedrooms at the front of the house! Perfect if you're an exhibitionist. We have blocked them all up so much warmer and far more private. Plus they look much more modern. So really pleased.

Here is my linea nigra - it's not too dark but stretches both below and above (pictured) my tummy button

May 2015 - thread 6 - third trimester, here we come!
applecore0317 · 07/02/2015 12:53

justyou am jealous that you have a innie!! mine is slowly popping out bit by bit each week

Justyouwaitandsee · 07/02/2015 12:59

Haha, yup it's quite deep I think. At certain times (end of the day) it feels more stretched but bump is pretty soft right now. Baby's measurement was smack bang on the average line at my 28wk appt this week. Much to my mums indignation. As the midwife casually told me the baby was perfectly average, mum (who has been staying to help with building work and got to come along as a treat) said 'excuse me, there is nothing average about my grandchild' GrinWink

SmileyScooby · 07/02/2015 15:00

just love your mum's comment!

I can't see a line yet and my belly button is still an innie (but it was a deep cavern before!! And is a lot shallower now)

Bump is making it difficult to mark this work as can't get as close to table and my little man is moving around as well, can't get comfy!

leanne963 · 07/02/2015 15:16

Haha Just That is something my mum would say too!! haha

My belly button has always been a deep dark abyss. So not it just looks relatively normal haha!

KittyVonCatsington · 07/02/2015 19:30

Just -my linea nigra looks just like yours: a little bit wonky and that shade exactly! Contrary to the old wives tale, my line goes from the top of my bump right through the belly button to the bottom and am having a girl! A couple of other moles/freckles have also gone a bit darker and I've read pregnancy hormones can do that.
I had my MW appointment at 27+3 on Wednesday and bump was measuring at 26 and she said that was fine. Your Mum is a cracker!

My belly button is just like yours apple Grin

gingerfluffball · 07/02/2015 21:46

Ouch - have been having sore rib pain this evening, guessing it's from everything generally pushing up and baby in weird position but combined with the back pain I have myself from too much swimming and then sitting in uncomfortable chairs yesterday it's making me v sore and grumpy. Feel like I can barely move without groaning like an old woman. Confused

Anyone getting painful ribs too?

applecore0317 · 07/02/2015 22:54

lol kitty freaky when they are starting to pop out more

ginger sorry you're ribs are sore, not something I am suffering from yet thankfully, her feet aren't quite there

plinkyplonks · 08/02/2015 00:05

gingerfluffball Same here :( Baby has turned and is in head down position, lots of lovely kicks above the belly and ribs :)

applecore0317 · 08/02/2015 00:08

Ugh, just cringing at my grammar, I meant your not you're

KittyVonCatsington · 08/02/2015 08:38

My MW said Kitlet was lying sideways in a curve shape with head down on the left, bottom poking upwards, knees over belly button and feet down on the right side. I think most of my 'kicks' are actually punches Grin

Chookford · 08/02/2015 10:24

Morning ladies..

Had my midwife appointment friday mentioned about thrush and have a nice prescription now for caneten cream and pressarys and feel much better already... Hurrah

Baby is in breech position at the moment, but plenty of time to turn (it better had the little monkey!) Smile

ginger I don't have rib pain yet but did with my dd and it got steadily worse until I was diagnosed with a lung infection at 32 weeks.. So just keep an eye on it, sure it's just the generally kicking and stretching of everything but if it's gets to the Point of even breathing makes you want to cry please get checked out!!

gingerfluffball · 08/02/2015 11:35

Will do chookford, thanks for the heads up Smile

Kitty must be nice to know where baby is lying, half the time I have no idea if it's punches or kicks I'm getting because he wriggles about so much!

bradders85 · 08/02/2015 14:02

Hi everyone - ginger not experienced rib pain yet not sure baby has got so high as I am carrying quite low. apple my belly button is quite flat like yours too but I haven't got my linea nigra yet - I'm on the lookout!
28+3 today and baby is definately more active now and packing a stronger punch! - this morning was obviously lying across as I could feel both top and bottom for quite a while moving away, great feeling! Hope you all have a lovely day - we are clearing the spare room and finally deciding on ikea furniture - think we are going for the Hemnes range in white.
