Aw sunshine sorry to hear you are suffering too! I get the crunching pain when I get out of bed at night and that's horrible. This just felt different like it was a 'deeper' pain almost inside my back to necessarily the bones iyswim.

Sunshinesaz86 · 06/02/2015 20:55

Thanks plinky

Ouch leanne sounds painful, I've been so lucky up until now as been pretty symptom free and hate moaning but this week has definitley been a struggle, off with my best friends to a wedding fayre tomoro, god help me walking round! I don't want to let her down of be a misery tho Sad

leanne963 · 06/02/2015 21:12

Oh sunshine :( have you got a bump belt, I mean support belt?! Everyone is telling me to get one!! Take it easy tomorrow :)

Chookford · 06/02/2015 21:13

Hi All,
Just found this thread (joined mumsnet a few years ago when pregnant with DC1 -Son and was probably just weeks pregnant when joined the ante-natal thread!) and found it so helpful.

Due the end of May with DC2 -Girl (hope they're right with the little outifts I've been buying in the sales!)

Haven't read all of this thread but Tori worth getting checked-out for piece of mind (although brown blood is old blood so hopefully nothing to worry about especially as stopped).

Have also had leg cramps, nothing to much. More late at night an ache but flexing calf muscle too much (why I've done this I don't know!) a few times has been really painful! Goes in minutes though.

Also relate to the back pain -dreading sciatica, have a herniated disc that so far is not causing any problems and hoping it remains this way.

Not feeling kicks as anterior placenta, see more movement than I feel! but love the little rolls and tickles.

Has anyone's linea nigra developed yet? I have nothing so far and remember it really dark with 1st pregnancy.

25 weeks and using virtually everything from 1st baby so just new mattresses and bits to buy really. So prepared, although have done no preparation yet! (not usually this relaxed about things but have just over 3 months to go yet).

Planning to work to two weeks before due date.

Think that's all for now Smile

Welcome littlemiss Hope you are well :) I have a very faint linea nigra but it is definitely there :)

longestlurkerever · 06/02/2015 21:48

Hello little miss! No, I was thinking that today. I had one with dd too but nothing yet. Trying to remember when it appeared.

plinkyplonks · 06/02/2015 21:52

littlemiss - Welcome! I have a faint line apparently - my husband can see it, but I can't :(

Anyone else bloating out yet - the last two days I've felt so bloated, with dry flaky hands. Was hoping to avoid the uncomfortable stage for a while yet!!

applecore0317 · 06/02/2015 22:04

Hello Littlemiss welcome :)

I have a linea nigra, it's been there since about week 13ish I think and has started to travel past my belly button by about two inches

Leanne worth having a look on ebay for bump supports, I got a Mothercare Bloomin marvellous one for £6 instead of the £12 new, and it's in perfect condition.

Feeling better thanks, hospital were happy to send me home, and thankfully I have Monday off work, so only Tuesday at work before my next consultant appointment on Wednesday, hoping that the high dosage of progestoerone will have either lenghthened my cervix or at least stopped it shortening any further. The water leak was the scariest part though, my manager said I just went white when I realised, but they think it's my hind waters as the test for main waters came back negative. Work have been absolutely great.

sunshine really hope you're back eases up too, make sure you have all got supportive chairs if you have a desk job

Just realised it's actually only 11 weeks till my mat leave starts, so not as long as I thought, although I may have to go a few weeks earlier, but I can cope with that :D

apple - Glad your feeling better Flowers - that must have been so scary :( I hope the consultant appt on Wednesday goes ok x

Chookford · 06/02/2015 23:11

littlemiss welcome and congrats! I don't have a linea negra yet but I didn't get it last time either so I may escape again!

gingerfluffball · 06/02/2015 23:27

Plinky yes - same with bloating and needing hand cream lately!

Sorry to hear about those working through back pain etc. Tori definitely best not to push yourself in to work long shifts all weekend, esp if drs have said not to! Try to take it easy as much as you can Thanks

12 weeks of work left for me as I'm working up to my due date but it's part time and I'm not rushing about on my feet so it should be okay.

Noticed my linea nigra last night with the help of DH (both trying to see if I had one), it's v v faint and actually goes a bit wonky round my belly button. Weird aren't they?

Bazza2 · 07/02/2015 00:54

Tits I went to the Whittington in Archway last year. They looked after me well when I had my ectopic last year.

longestlurkerever · 07/02/2015 07:57

Bazza That is my hospital. Are you local to me then?

tits sorry to hear your ds needs to go to hospital. Will be thinking of you.

Titsalinabumsquash · 07/02/2015 07:57

Urgh I've woken up today with an incredibly tight chest, I don't actually have asthma but once in a while I'll wake up struggling to get a decent breath because the air around me seems thick and I get an audible wheeze too if that makes sense to anyone?
Anyway that's happening big style this morning, I feel incredibly tearful and almost panicky with it SadBlush

Crappy nights sleep, DP managed to break a whole cupboard full of drinking glasses in the night so I woke to a very loud smash, the kids left a walkie talkie on somewhere in the house that decided to start beeping because it was running out of power, then they decided (like every flipping weekend) that they'd wake up at 6am and start a loud game of giggling, crashing around and whooping every few seconds.

tits sorry you've had such a bad nights sleep and that you've woken up with a tight chest. Try to stay calm and open a window to vent the room a little. Also don't lay down, sit up and if it doesn't calm call the our of hours doctors. Sweet cuppa might help keep you calm

I was coming on here this morning to rant about DH, went out last night, stumbled through through the door at 3.45am, stunk the bedroom out with cheap pizza and then proceeded to snore all night. Was a little irritated that he stayed out after the rugby as it was, giving the week I have had... so this didn't improve things

Racheyg · 07/02/2015 08:51

apple I feel for you. My oh Went out last Saturday for football (all day) and came home steaming drunk I've never seen him so bad. He also was snoring so much I had to sleep in the cold spare room Sad it made me feel better when he woke the nxt day with a very bad hangover. Esp as we have a 18 month old too Grin

Has anyone had a emcs/Elcs and trying to decide how to give birth for 2nd dc? I'm torn on what to do? I know I have time to decide but I'm a planner.

Hope you all have a great weekend xx

Titsalinabumsquash · 07/02/2015 08:54

Everyone else is still upstairs being loud and messy. Angry

I dint have to worry about anything nasty health wise with my breathing thing, I'm already in the maximum dose of Fragmin due to a history of blood clots in my lungs.

It's this bloody tearfulness that I can't shake, I'm just sobbing all over the place for no reason! Blush
I have a tiny foot permawedged in my ribs and it's making me very sore and grumpy.

OP posts:
cuphat · 07/02/2015 09:01

I had a dark linea nigra last time but I haven't got one this time (so far). The midwife last time commented that it was unusual because I'm pale.

Hope you're feeling better soon, tits.

Rachey, I had an ELCS 20 months ago due to a breech baby and I had such a great experience that I've opted for another one this time. There are other reasons why it'd be best for me though - the consultant agreed to another elcs straight away after reading my previous notes containing DD's birthweight and head size!

Bazza2 · 07/02/2015 09:03

Longest it was my hospital but we moved from London. There is rather a dishy doctor there....!Wink
