Glad to know am not alone after my keg cramping question!! It hasn't been painful yet just the odd occasion when on sofa/bed then getting up and moving (especially when going upstairs!!) apple I'm also missing my morning stretch!!
I will give the bananas and tonic water a go (can't remember if I like tonic water or not so will get a small bottle hehe)

plinky def looking less alien now! Love the little face :)

welcome catnip!

snooky I can't do anything right at the mo...I think if I cough or sneeze he's gonna have a go at me, you'd think he was the one with hormones all over the place. The littlest thing is peeing him off, but at other times he's being lovely arghhhh

Can't believe only got just over 8 more weeks of work (inc half term) and get to meet my little man in 14 weeks!!

applecore0317 · 05/02/2015 20:57

Welcome catnip

Had my second steroid injection today, so glad I won't have anymore cause definitely not a pleasant experience. Next consultant appointment on Wednesday, fingers crossed no further changes, currently am forecast to be four weeks early if I am early going by the charts anyway

Hope everyone is feeling better now

KittyVonCatsington · 05/02/2015 21:25

I love my May ladies Grin I totally thought my leg cramps (specifically right calf) were just me and to hear some of you have also had them makes me feel so much better! Mine have also been when I have stretched myself upon waking up Smile

Hi catnip!

Beautiful scan pic plinky - I keep looking at your baby thinking wow-mine is at that same stage now. So fantastic! I love the way the cute little hands are up by the face and waving.

So hope your cervix is behaving apple - you are being very brave!

I'm counting down the days with you Smiley Wink

Scottishgal78 · 05/02/2015 22:24

Great pics Plinky. Welcome catnip. Yes to leg cramps and OH rage. He finds my mood swings very funny which I in turn do not!Grin

applecore0317 · 06/02/2015 03:58

Poor you Tori. I do hope it's nothing to worry about. Try and take it easy if you can.

Welcome catnip!

Ten more weeks at work for me after today!

FeelingBlessed77 · 06/02/2015 09:45

Me too piglet. I also have 3 days annual leave to take and easter bank holidays. so that makes it 45 working days after today. woohoo.

Royalsteph · 06/02/2015 09:58

I hope it's nothing to worry about Tori
I have 12 weeks or 60 working days left. it feels like ages but will no doubt fly past. I was late with both my boys so going to work till 39 weeks this time, I'll probably take a weeks leave at easter. we only have the pram to buy now so all that is sorted. I'm so glad it is Friday. my kids and dp are away this weekend so going to chill out and do nothing Grin

Chookford · 06/02/2015 09:58

tori hope you are ok, sure it is nothing to worry about x

I have 8wks left at work and am counting down each day! I can't wait for mat leave to start now!

bradders85 · 06/02/2015 11:47

Hope everything is ok Tori.
8 weeks left in work too for me but with being signed off next week and then half term it will actually only be 6! I am planning on dragging dp to ikea today to pick some furniture for nursery. Pram and cot bed have been ordered so feel like it is just the furniture we need now for the big things!

aberjen · 06/02/2015 12:14

Afternoon Smile

Welcome catnip!

Hope you're alright Tori

Royal, a weekend with the house to yourself, sounds like bliss!

Only 8 weeks left here too, argh! Stopping at Easter although not due until 13 May. But DD was almost 2 weeks early and I spent the first part of mat leave last time before she was born faffing and finishing off work stuff, and didn't manage to do all the cleaning and batch cooking that I had planned, so determined not to make the same mistake twice (I will probably go two weeks over now...)

Have horrid cold, as do DD and DP. Funnily enough, the one person in the family who has a vast array of drugs available to them is the one who has it worst, and has been off work for the last 3 days Hmm Grin Did have pharmacist giving me a double take and cautiously asking who the sudafed was for when I went in yesterday Grin

cuphat · 06/02/2015 13:23

Hope you're ok Tori.

applecore0317 · 06/02/2015 13:44

Torihope all is ok, maybe give your midwife a call if you are on a break

aberjen am starting to wonder if cold medication actually makes us worse, have had two colds in the last month and dragged myself to work on both occasions, where as my colleagues have been dropping like flies and calling in sick because of a cold lol

Did anyone see on the news this morning about the flu jab? slightly annoying

plinkyplonks · 06/02/2015 15:11

Thanks everyone x

catnip - Welcome to the mad house :D

Tori :( Definitely worth giving the midwife a call to make sure everything is OK.

KittyVonCatsington · 06/02/2015 16:08

Hopefully just leftover residual uterine bleed Tori - really hope your day wasn't too hellish, possible pushed out when straining a BM recently?

Another Teacher here so including next week but not Half Term, I have 8 weeks left too (thank you Easter Hols)

TFI Friday Everyone!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 06/02/2015 16:13

Echoing everyone saying I hope Tori is ok and baby. SmileThanks

I had my bloods taken for anti D today, the midwife did a general check up too, apparently my baby has a very boney bottom! Clearly nothing to do with me (I have an ample arse) Wink

One thing I was wondering if anyone knows,

I'm going to be in a London hospital with DS1 for. Week in a few weeks time, they don't have an obstetric unit at the hospital were going too.
If I need to see someone when I'm there, if I get a lack of movements or anything like that, where do I go? I'm not close enough to home to see my own midwife or hospital team and I don't know what the protocol is!

titsall ask your midwife for details of an MDU in thay hospital or one nearby, so you have it just in case

leanne963 · 06/02/2015 17:07

Aw so sorry you are having a crappy day tori at least the LO is moving lots!

I've been to the GP today to get tested for a Kidney infection cause I was getting really bad aches in my back and thought it was my kidneys (better safe than sorry) and apparently there is no infection or blood in my urine and that it's all just the joys of stretching ribs and general back pain!
I feel like I shouldn't be getting an aching back at 25 weeks. I still have 15 to go ha!!

Hope everyone else has had a lovely day! Hope you are OK apple been keeping an eye on your fb posts! !

Sunshinesaz86 · 06/02/2015 18:29

leanne one just turned 26 weeks and I am in agony with my back on a daily basis between sciatica and start of SPD usually worse at night and first thing in the morning. Mainly just when I'm walking and getting up out of bed! I'm ok sitting!

Hope your ok tori

So exciting about everyone's countdown to mat leave! I also have 8 weeks to go!! Can't wait to finish x

SmileyScooby · 06/02/2015 18:58

Tori hope you are ok x

catnip Yep you got it right I'm a teacher! There's a few of us on this thread!

Tits how did midwife know it's got a boney bum? Hehe

longestlurkerever · 06/02/2015 19:02

tori I would go to maternity triage just to be on the safe side and definitely call in sick if you're in pain.

plinkyplonks · 06/02/2015 19:39

Oh noes :( Sorry to hear that tori - please do get yourself checked out if you are in any doubt about your symptoms x

leanne, sunshine and all those in pain right now - hope you feel better soon :(
