Kittiker glad you are ok and got checked out. A fall is such a shock.

Mumof3 glad you had a great time in London but think you should get checked over too. Must be scary to see the plug coming out.

I'm having a day at home batch cooking, packing for center parcs and watching tv. I did the food shopping at Aldi for a change to try and cut costs while we save up for the mortgage deposit and was nicely surprised by the bill. Tesco is just ridiculous for prices.

Baby is fine and kicking away a lot. Demands a lot of food though. He seems to tap away when I am hungry.

Titsalinabumsquash · 03/02/2015 12:33

Welcome Wilson Smile

Glad you're both ok Kitti, that bust have been scary, when I was on with DS2 I dropped a whole catering sized tray of tins of beans directly on top on my bump Blush luckily everyone was fine (just a little bruised and embarrassed)

I have messed up my sleep pattern totally now, every day I am exhausted by 4pm, I keep myself awake until DP gets home to watch the kids before falling asleep, then because I sleep from about 6pm onwards I wake up at 3am unable to get back to sleep. Every bloody night now!

applecore0317 · 03/02/2015 13:54

Welcome Wilson :)

Justyouwaitandsee · 03/02/2015 15:04

Oh no! Hope you are both taking it easy kitti and mum - don't push yourselves too hard.

Things have gone ok today, managed to stay warm and get some work done by locking myself away in the kitchen. The guys are doing well, but is a huge change so might take a bit of getting used to! Just waiting for men to leave and DH to come home so we can have a proper look round and let it all sink in!

Royalsteph · 03/02/2015 16:10

Pleased your ok kitti after your fall. Welcome Wilson.
Royalsteph I feel my baby movements very low too - and people have commented that I have a low bump and have had from the start!
I am just back from the doctors - I have had leg pain for a few months now, top inside of left thigh that can get progressively worse throughout the day causing me to limp, and last night it was really hurting in bed trying to roll over! anyway they have signed me off for 2 weeks. Which is good and bad......why do we feel guilty about time off! Got loads still to do with year 11 as they are finishing their coursework! Doctor has said the paid will only get worse too.

mumxof3x · 03/02/2015 16:50

Unfortunately not ladies, this is a common thing with me and pregnancy since ds2, I have irritable uterus and plug coming away is because is because my cervix is just quite abit open. It forms back, I went to the doctors about it around 3wk ago to be safe. It still panics me at the time though because its normaly smaller peices. But all is fine now and the pains were 2 days ago, just had the normal braxtons since.

Welcome wilson :)

Hope your leg gets better bradders

bradders85 · 03/02/2015 16:54

Pleased your ok mum, must be unsettling when it happens but pleased it seems to have settled. keep and eye on things though!

Chookford · 03/02/2015 17:04

mum glad Things have settled down...

bradders sorry to hear about your leg pain, hopefully the rest will ease it a lot!

leanne963 · 03/02/2015 17:26

oh no three sorry to hear that that doesn't sound much fun! Be careful!

Aww kitti big hug so glad baby is fine although I'm sure your bum is a bit sore - ouch!!

mum glad you had fun in London!! The contractions on the other hand do not sound fun! Hope you have your feet up now!!

wilson welcome to the lovely group :)

Haha tits I feel the same I am exhausted by 6ish but force myself to stay up then I am wide awake at 10 and can't sleep arghh!

royal she seems to kick all over! Sometimes high above the belly button but sometimes really low and feels like lots of fast jabby movements above the bladder!!

Hope everyone else had a safe day away from the snow! Luckily when I filmed in Taunton it was lovely and sunny!! Back home with a hot water bottle and I could sleep til the weekend lol!

piglet81 · 03/02/2015 19:59

Sorry to hear about injuries etc. Hope everyone's doing OK and keeping warm.

I'm feeling movements all over the place these days - sometimes very low down, sometimes up near my ribs and some good strong kicks in the middle that make my whole bump move! Have also felt more 'shape' to the bump - it must depend which way he's lying but sometimes bits stick out to the sides that feel like body parts. Strange but exciting! Smile

SmileyScooby · 03/02/2015 21:28

Welcome Wilson :)

kittiker sorry to hear about your fall, glad you and bump are ok and hope your bum isn't too painful!

mum take it easy and try to rest, feet up and some cake :)

royalsteph my movements are generally low and around belly button - feels like a pulling feeling behind belly button sometimes. When on side tends to be more to the side than central (but top side) tonight seems to be focused around bladder area as feel like need loo a lot tonight!!!

applecore0317 · 03/02/2015 21:38

glad its normal Mum, well not glad but hopefully you know what I mean. Definitely lots of rest :)

I get them low down, then middle right and sometimes central. she seems to be on my right side a fair bit :)

Sunshinesaz86 · 03/02/2015 21:49

Glad your ok mum and u too after your fall kittiker hope your taking it easy!

Welcome wilson I'm also EDD 14th may! [grin

I went to midwife today for 25 week app even tho I'm nearly 26 weeks, she think I could be starting with SPD and said she'll refer me to physio next time if I'm any worse in 3 weeks. So cute baby heard HB and felt Doppler and started kicking against it . Made me smile.

bradders hope your leg pain eases soon. It's easy to feel guilty about time off when your a hard working person but they will manage. Your health is more important than anything else right now. Enjoy relaxing if u can.

Scottishgal78 · 03/02/2015 22:01

Oh that fall sounds scary Kittiker. I have developed a real fear of ice as I'm really clumsy!

mum glad you're reassured!

Welcome Wilson

I feel movement low down but sometimes at my belly button. I swear he responds to music especially MotownGrin

Turquoisetamborine · 04/02/2015 06:56

Welcome Wilson, you are same EDD as me although I'll be delivering at least a week earlier.

Just wear wellies girls so you don't fall on the ice. I wear mine all the time!

Fluffeh · 04/02/2015 07:08

I'm a little jealous of the snow. We had some last week but it melted the same day.
Glad your ok kittiker. That fall sounds scary!
Welcome Wilson.
Mum I hope your contractions stay away and baby stays put for a while longer yet.

I've been awake all night with a tickly cough. Is there anything safe to take? Honestly on every breath I take in I have to cough it out and it's starting to really hurt. Dp thinks I'm being soft but I'm blooming shattered and have a full day of toddler entertaining to do x

KittyVonCatsington · 04/02/2015 08:25

Oh kitti so pleased you are both okey-sorry though as must have been so frightening!

Thinking of you too mumx

Very annoying about the leg pain bradders how uncomfortable for you!

Hi and congrats wilson!

Not sure Fluf but def drink lots and lots of fluids particularly water.

My baby kicks are just like pigets really-all over the place but she can move all he likes Grin

Am joining in with all the pregnancy woes-after surviving the last 18 weeks on constipation being managed by Lactulose, yesterday's BM was particularly awful and result in the appearance of piles Sad Angry Great.
My Pilates session did a good job easing the pain and making them bugger off but made DH get some Anusol anyway. Will mention it to Midwife at my appointment today lucky her! but looks like I'll just have to wait to give birth before I am free of this toilet-related hell Grin

gingerfluffball · 04/02/2015 08:39

Morning everyone and hi Wilson Smile

Fluffeh that sounds awful, nothing worse than being kept awake all night. I had a sore throat and tickly cough recently and got through it with blackcurrant tunes (seemed to coat the throat and make it less sensitive?) and lots and lots of hot drinks.

Sunshine had the same with mine kicking the doppler! Made me smile too.

Scottish I always get loads of movement when I have the radio up loud in the car, he seems to wake up and start dancing away to whatever music's playing. Haven't discerned a genre preference yet!

Just had a really busy and stressful few days at work, argh. Is it too early to start looking forward to mat leave?? Blush

plinkyplonks · 04/02/2015 08:41

Sorry all, been away for a few days - just catching up on the thread!

Kitti Oh no - hope you feel better soon and glad the beanie is OK x

mum - Glad your feeling better and that doctors are not concerned :)

Baby kicks are getting a lot higher now the baby appears to have turned into head down position! I was worried as she went a bit quiet for a few hours but now I'm getting a good thump or two every 1-2 hours which is reassuring :D

KittyVonCatsington · 04/02/2015 08:49

Never too early ginger Wink
