Wildfire Is Manchester any better for you? The Arndale M&P is also closing and I got some brilliant bargains a couple of weeks ago.

I work in retail property so might be able to source a list of store closures. It's due to their recent CVA; getting rid of unprofitable stores.

Has anyone been given iron tablets for low iron? After my visit to hospital the gp phoned and said I need to pick up prescription for iron as its low. Have been taking 1 three times a day and have just had (TMI Warning) black poo! Anyone else experienced this??

Update: midwife says completely normal. Take tablets with fresh Orange and they will absorb easier. Lol

Just posting to say Mamas and papas in Watford is also closing down on 8 February. 3 pack sleep suit from £22 to £6.60 and I got 2 lovely cardigans at £5 each. Also lots of other little bits and bobs like socks and hats. Definitely worth visiting :)

Watford is closest - am south east. Still an hour or so away, next free day is the 6th Feb, so not sure if there will be much left by then! Hmmmm.

Butler - your midwife is right - iron will give you lovely sticky black poo! Quite normal.

Are people having aches & pains? I am having period like pains, it's making me fret! I'm 18w 2d I think... Although I think I feel movement sometimes I don't feel it often enough or with enough confidence it is movement for that to be any reassurance!

Our M&P is closing (Bristol), we can't afford to buy anything at the moment but my mum is visiting and said we'll pop in tomorrow to see if we can grab a bargain .

I still get some period like pains too. For my own peace of mind I tell myself it's my uterus stretching!

I was feeling movements last week but nothing much for a few days. When I do feel it now I think I'm imagining it or it's wind! I know that the baby can still hide away at this stage but will be glad to have my sexing scan on Thursday to check all is ok.

I feel something that I think is a movement, stop everything to concentrate & it doesn't happen again! Also looking forward to my anomaly scan, this Saturday.

Got to be...is this the Eastgate M&P? Do you know when it closes?

Visited bristol m&p today. Didnt seem a huge amount left tbh. Lots of clothes (but cant buy that as dont know sex) couple of cots, rocking horses, pushchairs. Some maternity jeans, showroom bit lights were off. Car seats and isofix bases there were there.

Still being sick :(
I'm going to check out the m&p nearby, see if I can get a bargain. I take it u just check online?

Got our anomaly scan on Weds. Was originally the 9th but got changed. I am desperate to get the results.

Yeah the Eastgate one. Not sure exactly when it closes. Sounds a bit disappointing then Naty, I should have tried to get there sooner! TBH with DD only being 14 months we don't really need anything, I just thought id see if anything took my fancy . The only thing I want/need is a new sling as we borrowed one before but friend I borrowed it off is due her second a month before me!

Might find some clothes for DD in the sale though

It looks like I was calling the 20 week scan the sexing scan in my earlier post... I wasn't, I have a private sexing scan on Thursday! Anomaly scan is on the 18th Feb. For some reason I'm much more impatient to find out the sex than I was last time, with DD I didn't even decide whether to find out until the sonographer asked at the end of the anomaly scan! This time I felt like I couldn't even wait til 20 weeks.

woah, i'm knackered! Have been out from 9.45am till 9pm at a rehearsal with my girls' voices choir (10.30-3.45) and then picked up to drive 40 mins for another rehearsal with a different choir and an Evensong service. A cheeky small wine before the journey home... Singing great but definitely tiring! Getting a curry delivered as we arrived back was a good plan...

A simple google search is not showing any closures for m&p! I'm will go in to the store tomorrow and have a check.
I'm scared to move as I keep puking grrr
