Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Oh my goodness DH* not dog lol!!

Mummytogoldie · 28/12/2014 23:59

Joining in mind but not in spirit yet. I had a mc 1st December and have had a bfp positive yesterday so maybe due in September (I have no idea it seems very quick from mc). I am ringing epu unit tomorrow to see if I can have bloods took and book in for an early scan. Tbh I am scared stiff x

Mummytogoldie · 29/12/2014 00:04

And lol about a knicker checking place in the hall :)

ChandlersFarang · 29/12/2014 03:31

Hi and congrats on the BFPs to everyone that's recently joined!! Sorry not to name all names. Am super jet lagged! Great news on the IVF almost.Smile It must be super worrying for you guys that have lost pregnancies in the past, am rooting for you all!! Smile I think my mindset is only relatively chilled because I never expected to conceive naturally, so if this one doesn't work out, I will try to take the positive from it (that we are at least physically capable of conceiving without intervention!).

I just landed back in Thailand after a 10 hour night flight, so uncomfortable and barely slept as I couldn't do my usual red wine and Valium trick!! Shock had period pain cramps all the way. Got the boobs in a sports bra 24/7 which helps a lot. (I'm sure no boob pain is normal too this early! Mine were a 32E to start with so have a horrible feeling they will become cartoon-sized soon!)ConfusedBlushShock lol !!

Will be going to the hospital here today to see a doc. I hate the fact everything is hospital based here - pregnancy is totally medicalised. If this bean sticks I'll be v glad to be back in England in June in good time for the birth!

On the telling people front... My dad and my brother arrive out here today for a week of beer and new year partying which is rather worrying!!! We had a big sesh on Boxing Day before I tested and there was a lot of big talk about the fun here. My plan is to order mocktails in thai so they won't understand, but looks like I'm drinking!!! Might buy some alcohol-free beer and drink that around the apartment with them out of a glass so they can't tell. God it's annoying this booze thing! A bit early to claim we're all on a January detox, right?! Grin

NatalieBee · 29/12/2014 08:21

Chandlers I appeared to have jinxed myself on the boob front Shock they are currently agony and feel like 2 giant rocks! Teach me to complain about somthing good again ;)

Neq years is Deffo going to be a struggle but that mock tail idea is fab! I may have to steal that off you ;) doctored at 930 today to sort everything out! Nervous and excited!

TheMidnightHour · 29/12/2014 09:06

Hello all!
I got my first ever BFP 2 days ago, after TTC for 3 years. I am beyond chuffed and also so nervous that this little bean won't stick! Just got my referral to the fertility clinic sent in 2 weeks ago and had given up on conceiving naturally. So this is brilliant, if it lasts!

Chandler I'm not saying don't come back early, but FWIW a lot of airlines let you fly to 36 weeks. I have to admit that's one of the first things I checked, as we have a destination wedding of someone very close (possible!) and a long-planned trip (probably not possible) coming up this summer.

I'm 31, no kids, EDD 1 Sep and moved to a new area a month ago, so it really is all change. DP is thrilled, floated off to work this morning! (I work from home, and should really go do some...)

Lovely hearing from other people in the same boat :)

NatalieBee · 29/12/2014 10:18

Congratulations midnight!

Just got sorted for my early scan on 8th January! So 10 days away, I am so exited but so worried! I think that will make me around 6/7 weeks hopefully they'll be able to shed some light on it then :)

How's everyone's day going?

Pugsake · 29/12/2014 10:33

Can I very very tentatively join please. BFP Boxing Day so around 5 weeks if my calculations are right. I had a bad expirience back in May which I won't go into. So me and DP are not telling anyone till 20 weeks. So I need so too tell someone.

DastardlyDachshund · 29/12/2014 13:23

Just a quick one from me to say that it looks like a cp for me. My BBT plummeted to just above the coverline this morning and I have just started to spot by the looks of things. I will be taking a few months off now I think due to various reasons but best of luck to the rest of you in your pregnancies.

GinFace · 29/12/2014 13:56

Dastardly, I'm so sorry love. Massive hugs and fingers crossed.

Hope everyone else is well.

We're on holiday. I'm so bloated I've just been a bought a pair of maternity jeans. The shame. Confused

TheMidnightHour · 29/12/2014 14:44

Dastardly I'm so sorry to hear your news. Really hoping it comes around.

Natalie 10 days seems like ages, now, but it's nothing really, right?!

My day's going pretty well. Total space head and keep staring out the window rather than working. That'll wear off in a day or two I hope, or I shall starve!

MaudeTheMopLady · 29/12/2014 15:15

Hi everyone, i started bleeding a lot today, used up several pads already so think its all over for me.....though perhaps its just as well given the tricky circumstances.

Sorry Dastardly it didn't work out this time...

Best of luck everyone, will be thinking of you.

NatalieBee · 29/12/2014 15:40

Dastardly and Maude I am so sorry. Sending lots of virtual hugs! Flowers

Midnight I know, 10 days is ages away! I may quite possibly be the most impatient person in the world normally anyway! As a nurse im struggling too, I know too much and it gives me more to add onto my worry list lol!

NatalieBee · 29/12/2014 17:01

Just had some more brown discharge/bleeding who knows. It's stopped again but was a good teaspoon full :/ unlike yesterday which was just a dot. Who knows what's going to happen, if I make it to tmorrow I'll try and push my scan forward with Dr pande :/

nutelladipper · 29/12/2014 18:14

Sorry maude. And fingers crossed Natalie.
X

NatalieBee · 29/12/2014 19:09

Thankyou Nutella! It's stopped again so who knows what's going on!

Dastardly, Maude, I'm so sorry!! We are all at such a ridiculously early point. I actually have a 65% risk of miscarriage due to my PCOS, according to various things I've googled, so am really trying to remain in the moment and just enjoy each day without worrying. You will get your sticky beans in time!! Hmm x x x x

ChandlersFarang · 30/12/2014 03:20

Midnight - massive congratulations, I totally understand what a massive bonus a natural BFP is when you're facing fertility treatment! Same here!! Really hope it sticks. And thanks for the flight info. If mine sticks I will have to consider flying home early as my preg is a 'high risk' one due to my PCOS, so not sure what doctors notes I'll be able to get really. We'll see.

Pug - welcome and congratulations!! Sorry to hear you had a bit of a time of it in the past. You can share it all with us!! Grin

Gin - hehe. I hear ya on the bloat! I'm really not happy about the kg I seem to have gained over Xmas... I'd better get back in the gym and sort it before any sickness starts!!! Extra weight = extra risk with PCOS. Am pretty slim but the weight goes on so easily for me I have to be right on top of it! Shock

Going to get my blood test results this morning from the hospital - hoping it's all ok so far... Am only 14DPO today tho! Blimey! Blush

NatalieBee · 30/12/2014 08:53

Goodluck with your blood results today chandler! :)

I woke up running to the loo expecting to find blood..nothing yet tho! Hopefully epau can fit me in today!

NatalieBee · 30/12/2014 09:19

So I rung up early pregnancy assessment and told her the brown blood story and said she would pass it on to the midwives and one would ring me when she was free but to prepare myself because I would more than likely not get scammed because they're so busy..Mabey I'm just being hormonal but I'm outraged ?? they can't squeeze 15mins to check a woman who's bleeding

NatalieBee · 30/12/2014 09:20

Woops posted too early! Ima nurse so I can totally sympathise with how busy they are but as a pregnant woman I most definitely can't!

almostfullyfunctional · 30/12/2014 10:09

I stopped drinking ages ago for the ivf and don't really miss it now, but I just had a well done fried egg. It was not a pleasing experience. The world seems suddenly full of pate and blue cheese too. Is it just me?

Fingers crossed for sticky beans all round. Off to sister's for NYE - looks like loo will be only knicker checking spot for forseeable future
