Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Happy New Year! I made it to midnight but it was a struggle and was in bed by 00:12. So rock 'n' roll!

Hello berries and dorothy - lovely to see more BFPs :)

goldie and Chandlers I've got everything crossed for you. Hope you have a relaxing time in the islands and tomorrow's test is strong. I have to admit I put the dates when MC risk drops in my diary and am updating DP with 'no bad news yet' every time I go check obssesively pee. I wonder how long it takes to feel certain that this'll stick?!

NatalieBee · 01/01/2015 17:13

Happy new year girls :) I was up to 1230 before I passed out!

7days and counting to my scan! No more brown spotting since Monday! Although pant checking is ongoing!

What's everyone's sicknesses like? I keep expecting big vomiting episodes when I wake up like you are on tv lol! But apart from horrific heartburn making me feel nauseous at random times and one cv omitting episode I've had nothing much!

Hope everyone's having a fab day :)

LittleSesameSeed · 01/01/2015 17:30

Happy new year everyone!

Hope everyone's had a good New Year's Day!!!

Haven't had any sickness as yet and didn't have any with dd so I'm hoping this one will be the same.
I'm impressed with those of you who made it to midnight- asleep by 10.30 here!
When is everyone planning to share the news? We told everyone really early on with dd but think we may keep quiet for a little longer this time! Xx

ChandlersFarang · 01/01/2015 17:49

Midnight I'm also on a bit of a constant roller coaster of relief and then panic it's going! I really have not got a lot to base this on except my own expectations I think.

Natalie this being my first ever BFP I'm also like you, expecting all the classic symptoms to suddenly just hit me! But I've been awake reasonably late (it's 01:00 in Thailand now but still up - could be post-UK Xmas jetlag tho!), haven't felt sick at all yet, and nothing going on with my sense of smell. I have just had the massive boobs and dull cramping - nothing else so far!

ChandlersFarang · 01/01/2015 17:52

Little - happy new year to you too!! We aren't going to tell anyone until the start of Feb when DH's parents are coming to stay out here (assuming all is well by then). My dad is currently here and am doing a stellar job of pretending to drink/acting normally whilst frantically googling the hell out of everything when they aren't looking and hiding my peesticks and wrappers from the bathroom!! Lol!!

NatalieBee · 01/01/2015 18:14

Same chandlers it's nothing like tv! I have constant heartburn, pee central, slight neausea (usually just after I eat), and my boobs are agony! I seem to be ok in the morning and as the day goes on my symptoms get stronger!

I'm so exited for my scan! Has anyone else got any early scans lined up?

ChandlersFarang · 01/01/2015 18:32

Thats a good set of symptoms Natalie! Even if a bit annoying, must be quite reassuring. I'm in for my scan on 22 Jan! How about you?

NatalieBee · 01/01/2015 18:35

I hope so! I'm constantly worried due to previous mc, takes the innocence away from pregnancy defiantly!

My scans on the 8th! So exactly a week today at 130 Grin I am so exited, if not petrified lol!

LittleSesameSeed · 01/01/2015 18:44

I know what you mean Natalie my first pregnancy was so exciting but I'm finding it hard to feel the same since my mc. Hoping that will change once I get to my first scan- would love to have an early one but I guess I'll have to wait until 12 weeks! Sad

Don't worry about lack of symptoms- I'm sure they'll come soon enough!

nutelladipper · 01/01/2015 18:53

We told all our family last night. I think mil was a little shocked but everyone seemed pleased. My family new I wouldn't of stopped at two. X

GinFace · 01/01/2015 19:07

We've told both sets of parents and some close friends - not really through choice but because they would have guessed anyway, for a number of reasons.

My symptoms aren't that strong, apart from peeing like Shergar and being overly emotional, sore ish boobs (they've got better, not sure whether to worry about that...) and MAHUSIVE bloating.

I have a scan late next week. Desperate to hear all is well.

threeberries · 01/01/2015 19:21

I actually don't feel ready to tell anyone just yet, still feels a but too good to be true! No symptoms apart from being tired so I'm just trying to enjoy my food before the constant nausea kicks in about week 7 Sad though who knows might be lucky with the third crosses all fingers and toes

threeberries · 01/01/2015 19:22

sorry for the random bold Grin

NatalieBee · 01/01/2015 19:28

I haven't told anyone other than my best friend and the hubby obviously knows, too scared something will happen again!

Never again will I speak too soon just lay face down in my toilet bowl after dinner! After me saying I didn't have sicknesses too!

nutelladipper · 01/01/2015 19:29

I'm hoping my third (and final) pregnancy will be kind too. I've always had them easy thankfully but always had the nauseous feeling so I'd be delighted if that stays away!
Xx

GinFace · 01/01/2015 21:41

I had sickness (note intentional absence of the word 'morning' there) from 7 weeks with DS. Kinda hoping it appears soon because as annoying as it is, it's reassuring.

(I will regret that)

ElleyBear13 · 01/01/2015 21:50

Happy New Year ladies hows everyone feeling/coping?

6w exactly tomorrow, a little nervous as we lost our last at 6w2d. However i have no cramping (a little tugging) and feeling sooo queasy, i can hardly eat anything so taking this as a good sign! Also im very bloated, so much so at the boxing day party family members noticed my bump (im normally a slim size 8 and tried to hide it under swathes of jumpers) and phoned the next day to ask!
(We told them were not too sure waiting to see).

IF everything goes well and im still pregnant by the end of next week we're booking a early scan appointment :D

hope everyone else is well xx

spamanderson · 02/01/2015 00:32

Hi! waves like a lunatic
Can I join please? I just got my BFP tonight! I had the urge to test again before I got into bed and there was my line :D by my conception date I shoukd be due 11th - 14th September. DH had a vasectomy reversal at the beginning of the month so we were just having a practice month this cycle and what do you know!! I fell on cycle 1, it's a massive shock, a fantastic one of course but I was convinced it would take at least 6 months. DH has so far mentioned his 'super balls' and 'super sperm'...
I'm going to test again first thing and have ordered a first response to take in a couple of days :)
Spam, preg with #3. Due mid September (I think!)

Maths88 · 02/01/2015 06:22

Hi Guys

Can I tentatively join? Took a frer weds and it was really pale, just took another and its a bit darker so now I'm going to start believing it. Due early September but don't know how long my cylces are as I'd only had one period off of the pill and that took two months to come so who knows?!

Never thought it would happen first month so I'm super excited but also very nervous!

Maths88, 26, #1, due early September

Maths88 · 02/01/2015 06:24

Spam, dh was the same - I must have super sperm he said!

Think it's because I had been preparing him for the long haul with loads of statistics!

missthebubbles · 02/01/2015 09:16

Hi all and Happy New Year! Just been having fun reading from the beginning. I got a faint positive on Christmas morning from Santa Clause ( must remember to name check him come September). Not drinking was a bit sad over the past week as DS2 is only 10 months old and I only stopped feeding him 2 weeks ago as he had started to bite. Had really been looking forward to having a festive drink and had asked everyone for boozy gifts, which they all obliged me with Hmm. Oh well, not exactly perfect timing but thrilled all the same ( about the baby, not the booze!).
Age 34, DS1 is 12 tomorrow (how the fuck?!) DS2 10 months hoping for another DS for practical reasons!

TinyPawz · 02/01/2015 13:25

Hi all. Mind if I join too? BFP last night (day 41) after 6 BFNs (D30-36). I have pcos and was prescribed clomid, bloods on d21 showed that I had ovulated. I am beyond excited

Stats : 34, DD8, EDD 1/9, Antrim

NatalieBee · 02/01/2015 13:44

Congratulations everyone who's got their BFP Grin

I have decided im embracing positive attitude and got a packet of on sale baby vests! Even if God forbid something happened I would like to have them anyway!

I feel for anyone going back to work the exuhstion is hitting me hard I'm walking around town a sweaty, neausous zombie lol!

Mummyboo30 · 02/01/2015 14:17

Hi everyone, Ive just been reading through the thread, may I join too?

Got my BFP on 27th (after drinking on the 25th and 26th - oops! Hmm
Have been trying for DC2 since January, and charting since September, so glad to finally get there!

Not much by way of symptoms here yet, sensitive boobs, smelling like a bloodhound and a slightly nervous (but not nauseaus yet) tummy.

Stats: Mummyboo30 age 33, 3yo DD, due on 5th Sept! :)

Maths88 · 02/01/2015 15:49

Should I be worried that I don't have any symptoms at 5 weeks? My boobs are sore in the evening but not during the day and that's about it?
