Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Ah you've all made me feel better. Yes dulcet like a tugging. A little twinge when I have the audacity to carry out everyday activities. Reaching up to do some sanding of my door facings above my head set it off tonight. It's doesn't like stretching in general. Ha ha chat carrying shopping is exactly the kind of thing that would do it. I can't wait to get ms. That's not being sarcastic, I actually can't! feel free to bring this up later

Leela5 · 13/12/2014 21:50

Thanks for the horsey sympathy! I appreciate it! Thanks to all you non horsey people for putting up with it! :) spaniel grooming v similar politics from sounds of it!

You just. Don't. Cut. Someone else's. Horses. Mane. Big no.

Phew!

Anyone watching X factor?

RPopz · 13/12/2014 21:53

DH is out on his Christmas do so I've got to wait til tomorrow to watch it! Angry
Dehydration makes them worse too indigo as well as overdoing it. Sit down and have a cuppa Grin

You are kidding me Popz?! You're a good wife. It's pretty dull though, you're not missing much. We were going to watch a film but couldn't find one we wanted to see.

Leela5 · 13/12/2014 22:10

Ahhh. Good wife. My dh hates it!

Yes, indigo definitely drink water and get sleep - they make the twinges less

RPopz · 13/12/2014 22:21

Well he didn't specifically say I had to wait for him but he does like to watch it... and I know he'll be good for nothing tomorrow so we may as well veg out and watch it together!

I feel sick and mega anxious Sad Hate this time of night.

OP posts:
willywallace · 13/12/2014 22:51

Oh no popz, why anxious? Go to bed?

RPopz · 13/12/2014 22:55

I've got like reverse morning sickness. I feel sick at bedtime every night now! I've been reading Ina May... it's all positive birth stories but it's just putting the fear into me... its all a bit too real now! Starting to panic I won't be able to cope with it all now... Sad

OP posts:
RPopz · 13/12/2014 22:56

Trying to be prepared and its backfiring massively! Perhaps ignorance is bliss!

OP posts:
willywallace · 13/12/2014 23:01

There is definitely something to be said for ignorance Grin .

You will be able to cope with it because everybody does. I am having similar panics myself though. I think because I know what's in store whereas last time it all seemed quite abstract. The majority of people have straightforward births and also most people go on to do it again so they must get through the first time ok. I'm not going to lie and pretend that I don't think it's a hideous thing to go through but we can do it Popz! And I can confidently say that it is totally and utterly worth it.

RPopz · 13/12/2014 23:13

Think I'm just paranoid about making it harder for myself by panicking... and not being able to talk myself down. Which will make all the hypnobirthing stuff go flying out of the window!

Probably worse cos DH isn't here....

Thanks wil Smile x

I have a baby that won't sleep, she's been awake since 10.30 this morning just having 10 minute power naps ocationally! Confused

rpopz stop stressing yourself out, labours painful but doable & if it all gets too much you can always have an epidural. It's only 3 weeks since I did it & I'd do it again, inserting the cannula & stitches after we're the worse bit for me but I'm just a wuss with needles! Just practise your breathing & swearing & you'll be fine.

Minion · 14/12/2014 03:46

popz, can we have a Wibble together..
Still no change, though I thought I had some trapped wind pains shortly ago, nope, no botty burps. Hope it's starting...

Leela5 · 14/12/2014 04:03

:( furry I hope wee one settles soon, that's frustrating.

Popz I know it's scary but whenever I worry about labour I think of all the people who've managed it - the brainless idiots, the fluffy celebs, Katie price - and I think if they can do it then surely I must be able to.

You will be ok xx

willywallace · 14/12/2014 06:55

That's a great way to think of it Lala. I will not be beaten by bloody Jordan!

Furry, it's a total fallacy that babies sleep all day. MiniWil was always pretty good at night but never a good day napper until she was a toddler. I used to get so stressed out about it thinking I had done something wrong. Annoyingly she slept better when we were out and about than in the house. Which is rubbish as it means you don't get a rest too. But useful if you want to go out for lunch.

RPopz · 14/12/2014 06:58

Yikes, thought I was having a bad nights sleep! Shock

Thanks ladies, just need to man up I think!! Definitely got the swearing down Wink And also will not be beaten by Jordan!! Grin

Hope your trapped wind is a baby girl Min!

No sign of DH so am guessing he's on the sofa... or he got a better offer... Grin Hmm

OP posts:
willywallace · 14/12/2014 07:08

That's quite considerate he'd sleep on sofa instead of waking you up all drunk and smelly. I think I've reached the stage where I'd get the rage with drunk MrWil. Which isn't good considering there will be a birthday night out at some point.

Leela5 · 14/12/2014 08:05

Mine came in at 4:30 but I was awake 3-6 so it didn't matter. Getting up now to go exercise horse, very tired.

cookielove · 14/12/2014 08:08

indigo I was sick twice during the pregnancy once when I chugged loads of water for one of my later scans and it all came back up! And then after I had him the epidural made me throw up everything in my stomach which was nothing so I threw up bilr

cookielove · 14/12/2014 08:09

Sorry pressed post to early, it was bile. During the first 12 weeks I felt nausea but that was all.

Sorry to hear about your horse la

DulcetMoans · 14/12/2014 09:01

Oh popz, I thought you were passed all the fears and you seem so confident. Poor love, not what you want late at night. You'll be fine and you will do it because you have to! MiniPopz has to come out and when they do decide to your body will just take over one way or another.

And agree with la way to look at it - who wants to be beaten by Jordon or that Josie Cunningham! If they can doubt you absolutely can!

In other pregnancy news, '17 kids and counting' lady is pregnant again! Oh, is Keira Knightly pregnant too? Someone mentioned yesterday but didn't look it up.

Going to watch the hobbit today - not sure I have the bladder capacity for long films anymore!

lildottie · 14/12/2014 09:40

I saw that about her being on 18th too dulcet, apparently she's said its her last!
popz if she can do it 18 times you'll be fine! us women are designed for these things - its what makes us so superior to men. well one of the things!

RPopz · 14/12/2014 09:47

I thought that's what that documentary was about, cos she was preg again?? Eep.

Thanks again ladies. I have been pretty relaxed about it so far, maybe that's why it seems worse now - I've set a precedent for myself!! Lol. Then again maybe it's just hormones. Last week I had the "OMG there's going to be a baby and I'll have to look after it forever and what if we don't even like it!!" wobble.... Definitely too late for all this shizzle now!

DH came sloping upstairs shortly after my last post. TBF it is freezing down there!!

ChatEnOeuf · 14/12/2014 09:58

Totally understand the anxiety, Popz. DD was breech until pretty late on (33-4 weeks), so I'd prepared myself for a section. Then she turned. Suddenly I was going to Have To Give Birth, terrifying thought! But I managed it, and I agree, the suturing is the worst bit. The birth has a purpose, the faff afterwards is just a pain.

I'd heard Keira Knightly was due around the same time as me must beat her

I watched the start of XF and will watch the end on catch-up before tonight's. DH was out last night and is away for the next four days - no way am I going to avoid finding out who wins so I've told him to watch it in his hotel and we can judge them over skype during the inevitable boring bits...
