Had such a lovely day yesterday, but today is just a rubbish follow up so far... Hadn't felt any movement since last night even after cold drinks and sugary food so I called triage who asked me to come in.

Took a while but he finally sprung into life.
Trouble is it ate a few hours into time with the in laws so DH is really rather annoyed at me and I feel terrible.

On the other hand, I hadn't felt anything in nearly 12 hours so... Ugh. What was I meant to do? Pretend all was OK?

Sorry for the moan, just hate DH being mad at me.

Frenetic don't let your dh being off for losing time with his family make you doubt yourself, you were right to go and get checked....I am sure he knows that too.

Have come down with a cold which started on Christmas Eve evening so while I've had a lovely Christmas it has been marred by a head cold and some really awful nights sleep. Even worse sleep last night ( and probably tonight) as I have finally sucumbed to heartburn which I know many of you lovely ladies have been suffering from for sometime now. Tonight I am trying milk, but tomorrow I will have to get gaviscon or something.

Hello everyone, apologies, have been MIA! Have been so busy with work and Christmas just haven't had the time or energy to post!
I have finally caught up though, what a busy lot you are!
Hope everyone had a lovely sober xmas, I was ok just tired and annoyed at being told I cant eat this or that by everyone!
31 weeks now, felt a bit weird yesterday and this morning, dizzy with a headache and like my head is foggy?! Bean seems ok, wriggling lots!

Mooorning....My bum hurts so much i actually cant move! Scaring myself by googling how long coccyx bruising takes to heal...its quite a while!

Bangles that's so scary hope you, bump and bum are ok!

Had a lovely Christmas, went out last night and drunk people are so annoying when sober although I wanted to join them it actually put me off by the end of the night!!

Another Family get together today! More presents! This baby is so lucky it's so loved already! Smile

Bangles try daily warm baths this is what is helping my elbow.

My bump has totally changed shape tonight and feels odd and low down. 4 weeks left until he hopefully pops (hopfully a bit less)

Still cannot face doing the injection....why am I being a total wimp?

Bangles....very sore, you must have gotten some shock. Although you can be grateful that it was bum and not bump!

Feeling so much better so just waiting for bloods back later and hopefully there's a chance i can get out of hospital today. After a week, Im really getting fed up! All the docs keep telling me how sick i was and it really does go to show how resiliant our little babas are.

Morning all,
spent half of yesterday lying on my side on the sofa, and likely to be repeating that today...I did get these awesome ice pack things from tesocs though, which i think have been helping

Memphis- im genuinely scared to get in the bath because i dont think ill be able to get out again- had two showers instead yesterday! On the injections front, im totaly with you- i dont mind other people giving me injections, but there is something really weird about doing it yourself

Blank- thats fantastic news-keeping my fingers crossed for you. Youre right- totally proves how well protected they are from the outside world!

Bangles....I haven't been able to get out of the bath for weeks without the help of dh....I even had to get ds to help me one day. Grin Would sitting on sofa on a memory foam pillow help relieve pressure maybe? I am so glad when I fell down the stairs all the bang went mainly on my arm so was able to sit on my back side ok still Grin

So cold here today, really think ice and the snow has even turned to thick ice, we planned a drive to some woodlands with ds and the dog but dh has said no...he is worried I will slip I think.

I tried perching on the edge of a dining chair to try and take the pressure off but anything that involves pressure on my bum is not happening at the mo, and i need to roll off of things and kneel on the floor to stand up- what a mess! Also, although i landed backwards and ive felt plenty of baby movement im feeling guilty that ive not called the midwife to tell her

Memphis- how is the elbow? Seems like so long ago that you did that... Wonder if you take longer to heal in pregnancy or something

Bangles its about 6 weeks it is ok now just in certain positions it hurts, a bruised bone can actually take longer to heal than a break! I had a horseriding accident about 6 years ago and they were talking about 3 breaks in my leg, once xrayed there were no breaks they said 'the good news is no breaks the bad news is bruised bones take longer to heal' worse on places like elbows, ankles and tail bones as they have no fat to protect them.Confused

I have no motivation.... I got dressed into....clean pjs Grin need bread and milk so need to put actual clothes on then I have a baby room to de clutter

Whew, finally got some breathing space today after hectic Christmas! After scaring me on Xmas night and Boxing Day morning with a long quiet spell little one has been back to his usual active self.

I'm also turning 30 tomorrow.. This whole being an adult thing is suddenly very real ;)

Either way, two hours in triage was not what I fancied on Boxing Day little monkey..

Quiet day I think.. We might go out for dinner. DH has promised we can do something like go away for a weekend later in the year, so I'll try and hold him to that. My PGP is quite bad at the moment so walking too far is out of the question :(

She got me back for my worrying by having a fandango at 3am and then being a right wriggler from 8am!

Poor you bangles so annoying over Xmas!

Memphis 4 weeks!!! Eeeeek! So exciting!

I went sale shopping today and it's safe to say after a while of walking I'm definitely waddling hips and back hurt after a while too. So annoying not being able to get clothes I got a couple of 'spring' tops in medium should be ok. Otherwise got lots of baby bits and found an amazing sleeping bag/swaddle called a snuggle pod! Im going to get more it's not as restrictive as the zip swaddle I bought!

Took DD out for a scoot along the sea front, it was freezing!!
Spent the afternoon at home playing with DD and her barbie dream house! I've taken down all the decs and had a good tidy up, feels better.

Littlemiss yes only 4 weeks now, another scan in 2 weeks.

Long I think I am going to take down everything but the tree tonight, ds wants it to stay up forever though.

My bump is so uncomfortable these past few days, and I'm starting to feel really big now (it was quite neat til a couple of weeks ago). Also the top is quite tender, it feels like he is really sticking his bum out and I can definitely make out a bum and spine by feeling it.

Wow memphis I can't believe it is only 4 weeks now for you. That is so close! I guess I only have less than 7 weeks to go now too. I think time is starting to speed up now christmas is done and the countdown is getting smaller.

Happy birthday for tomorrow frenetic! Mine is on Tuesday. I'm going out with DH to a lovely Thai restaurant that does really good mocktails. At least then I don't have to feel like I'm missing out so much with the not drinking.

Bangles that sounds so painful. I hope you can find some comfort soon. As if you don't have enough discomfort and niggles just with the pregnancy!

Things we're buddies. I shall be 33 on tues. We're off for a late lunch then the big panto in cambridge.

I have my 34 week midwife app tomorrow. Seems ages since I last saw anyone. Forgot I need a wee sample so will have to run across to doctors to get a pot in the morning.

Hi ladies - god it's been aaaggggeeesss!

Haven't really been able to catch up on much as it's been a good couple of weeks since I've logged on. But just seen your in your last 4 weeks memphis that's amazing! It's just under 6 for me....hopefully no more than that!

I've not really been myself lately hence the hiding away, this last little bit is taking it's toll on me both physically and emotionally. So I've been feeling a bit...blugh! Baby is fine though and is growing nicely Smile

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoyed their christmas?
