My last Gonal-f cycle was successful (obviously as I'm now pregnant) but can't stop this nagging question of 'what if there's more than one'!

Re bra, I'll be trying those this pregnancy as the maternity one were awful and did not give me any support!

WantToGoingTo · 19/11/2014 21:01

touch my work clothes are too I went shopping looking for stretchy clothes last weekend but couldn't find any I liked :(

That makes sense broody. I had a tough time after my MC and briefly had some counselling to get back on track. Turned out that dealing with my parents being so upset was very difficult so I think that waiting to avoid the disappointment might be best

GoBigOrange · 19/11/2014 22:05

I had never heard that you are more likely to have twins if you are taller naty. I also had two embryos put back, one of which was somewhat better than the other, so I have been feeling fairly sure that only the good one stuck. I'm 5' 7 though... so I guess I will find out next week when they hopefully find a heartbeat - or two.

Does anyone else have literally no symptoms? I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and I keep waiting to get queasy or dizzy or to become a super-nose. But I feel normal, apart from the fact I can't smell a damn thing because I'm so stuffed up and coldy feeling. Gah.

Sarkymare · 19/11/2014 22:06

For the past couple of days I have been waking up with a flat stomach but then going to bed looking 4 months pregnant! I had to change my jeans at about 4pm as they were too tight.

Pipbin · 19/11/2014 22:24

Will the time just pass already. I am so anxious about this and it's only been two days since my BFP!

My problem is that everyone knows because we were very open about our IVF cycle. My work are simply lovely and gave me the week off after transfer. The problem is that I couldn't go back in a say 'I can't say anything yet' can I.

misseskimo · 19/11/2014 22:53

sarky I'm exactly the same. I've literally just had to take off one of my usually comfy pairs of pjs as they feel too restricting. I'm finding as soon as i get home out come the baggy 2 sizes too big, that time of the month joggers or pjs for the evening!

smallgreenbanana · 19/11/2014 22:54

Oh no, I'm on the ice chips again. Thinking maybe I should switch to a vitamin pill without iron? Massive wave of nausea about 2 hours after eating and taking my pill. Lovely DH took me for a walk and the cold air did help a bit.

misseskimo · 19/11/2014 22:56

gobig don't wish for them! Haha. I've had various different ones, this week's new ones are indigestion, wind and headaches... Add that to the already long list, i envy those who have none! Want to swap? Wink

Pipbin · 19/11/2014 23:05

Right now I'm happy about the symptoms because it's a good sign!
I think the novelty will wear off.

misseskimo · 19/11/2014 23:34

pipbin the novelty wore off for me as soon as the Dr's said they were signing me off for a week! I'm such a workaholic normally! Sad though tomorrow is my first day back and I'm dreading it with all these symptoms strutting their stuff for all to pick up on! Lol.

Sarkymare · 19/11/2014 23:53

misses I still have my maternity jeans so I stuck them on. They have been my time of the month/going to eat a huge meal jeans all year Grin

Problem is, they don't half give me a saggy looking arse Grin

Romeolovesjuliet · 20/11/2014 05:27

Hi ladies, can I join? Found out we're expecting number 3 last week, completely unplanned and a massive shock - DD is 2.9 and DS 13 months... We did always plan to have 3 though but were going to wait until DD was at school. Anyway, very happy now the initial shock has worn off but still terrified about telling work - only been back a few weeks! My main symptoms so far are wind, nausea and waking up at ridiculous times (hence the 5.30am message!). I'm willing the next few weeks to pass as, like many of you, I have mc in the past.
Due date is 22nd July.

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 06:49

I hate the days when I wake up with no symptoms. It read unnerves me. Hope they return when I get up

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 06:57

Sorry - hi Romeo! Welcome and congratulations!

Overtiredbackagain · 20/11/2014 07:09

Morning all
Sickness has kicked in for me now. My husband had got concert tickets for us last night and as I got into car to drive to London was hit by a wave of sickness, exhaustion and wanting to cry. Not good at 4pm when we wouldn't get home until midnight.
Does anyone have any good tips got battling sickness/nausea? I have over an hours drive to work each day and leave home before 7am so need to give myself the best chance of not feeling sick!

Bustherb · 20/11/2014 07:58

Ceejay I'm also very sick again this morning, any tips would be appreciated Grin xx

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 07:58

Eating little and often - dry biscuits and water. Have biscuits by your bed so you can nibble before you get up. Babycentre app has great little tips like that if you wanted to download it?

Hope you feel better today

JoY007 · 20/11/2014 07:59

Drinking plenty of water helps I find and salted pop corn, you could try bananas (Did not work for me, but that's because I am not a fan of bananas) I hear it helps with the nausea. Also try toast and fried eggs, or grapes. Just throwing all the stuff that worked for me and reduced the nausea. I am up at 6am for the gym as well so understand. I guess you have to try everything and find the one that works, good luckSmile??

For nice cute roomy outfits try COS.

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 08:00

I don't really get nause except a hint if I don't eat. I have permanent stretchy cramps and tingly boobs though so hope that makes up for no nausea

JoY007 · 20/11/2014 08:00

I agree with leela baby centre app is fab for tips.

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 08:01

Yes! I second bananas - good source of potassium and stave away nausea. Maybe that's why I'm not getting much, I eat a banana first thing every morning?

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 08:01

I haven't had sickness yet but whenever I travel sick I use those wrist bands. Not sure if it's psychosomatic but the seem to work for me.
