ceejay I too leave for work about 7am and have just under an hours drive so hoping this nausea doesn't stick around! I don't normally eat first thing, normally have a banana when I get to work so will find it hard to force something down I think :S nausea not too bad atm, more a feeling if I don't want to eat an the thought of food makes me feel sick rather than a feeling of goin to be sick (though did think I would be sick after my near-fainting episode last night)

fleur those wrist bands are great, they got rid I sea sickness for me when I wa caught in the worst storm for 30yts on a cruise and the ship would drop 5 metres at a time! Def recommend them :)

Hi all, it's second time in man for me too, re the wired bras I used wired ones all through my first pregnancy due to having huge boobs that were incredibly uncomfortable in non wires. As long as you have your size regularly checked its fine, I promise. I wish nursing bras came wired !

Like I said I'm 32 and I have an 8 yo dd

I felt terrible yesterday, my legs were all wobbly and I ended up in bed at 8:15. I'm finding not having the luxury of sleeping in is making this pregnancy so much harder.

Is anyone from the Midlands ?

sdyer · 20/11/2014 08:10

Morning all, UltimateDuck I'm from Bromley too! :-)

Ceejay14 · 20/11/2014 08:13

Thanks all ... I'll pick up some bananas today and have a look at the app too. Hope everyone has a good day

WantToGoingTo · 20/11/2014 08:36

Thanks for whoever recommended cos, they do have some pretty and roomy things. Unfortunately bit out of my budget though, DH would kill me if I spent that much money on clothes just for the pre-maternity phase! That is the sort of thing I am looking for though, smart and chic roomy dresses :) will keep looking!

Morning ladies, I have decided I am going to rename myself 'Symptomless Number 3' because there is literally not a single symptom. Not a sausage.
I didn't piss on a stick this morning to make sure I am still pregnant and that lines are getting darker. Honest...

Overtiredbackagain · 20/11/2014 08:42

WantTo I've bought a couple of cheap jersey skater dresses on eBay for £7 each and they are fab and stretchy - definitely the way ahead for me at work for now! Just wear a jacket over the top and nice thick black tights, job done!

Number3cometome · 20/11/2014 08:44

Overtiredbackagain i need those dresses in my life!!

WantToGoingTo · 20/11/2014 08:54

Good plan overtired may have a look. I literally trawled a whole shopping centre last weekend to no avail :/ was also thinking I could go down the baggy jumper dress route, but I tried one on last week and even baggy jumper was too clingy! Must keep looking :)

Number3 they look great with a pair of ankle boots!

ignominious · 20/11/2014 09:20

wantto I have the same thing every time I stand up, everything goes black and I often feel sick. Anyone else? Also happened while I was sitting down last night, had to ask DH if the electricity had gone off :/

WantToGoingTo · 20/11/2014 09:32

Girls, I think I am on to a winner:

Ignom. When you stand and everything goes black, do you go dizzy too?

Since yesterday almost every time I stand up I go so dizzy that my vision is blurred and I shake and stumble around until it returns. Whenever it happens I get a buzzing sound in my ear too.

I sometimes got this once in a while pre-pregnancy but literally since yesterday it's been almost everytime I stand.

Overtiredbackagain · 20/11/2014 09:58

Love all of those WantTo - thanks for the links!

ignominious · 20/11/2014 10:08

Sarky yes I get dizzy. Don't get buzzing noise though. The time I felt sick too lasted for ages and I sat with my head between my legs for ages but it didn't make any difference. Glad I'm normal anyway Smile I would expect this later on when there are two humans to support on one heart, but this seems a bit early!

JoY007 · 20/11/2014 10:10

Good old Asos will be on it as well. Thank you!!!!

I agree re COS i was only able to buy 1 item the last time I was there, quite pricey, but the consolation is that I can wear it post maternity.

WantToGoingTo · 20/11/2014 10:18

Yes, true joY! They are beautiful clothes, I love the yellow dress with the tie neck.

OP posts:
GingerbreadHead · 20/11/2014 10:33

Feeling nice and sick again today Smile I'm starving but the thought of actually eating turns my stomach! I appear to only want to eat beige food, makes it quite hard to get in your 5 a day!
I am still wearing my normal clothes, but do change into pjs as soon as I get home! StoneBaby those bras that you linked up are excellent imo, I tried out all sorts of mat and nursing ones with DD, and found those to be excellent, and so comfy. I will definately be investing in another couple of pairs soon.
romeo welcome to the thread, we are due date buddies Grin

Yes I agree with the dizziness too, get it when I stand up or move about too quickly. Amazing how much early pg affects everything so quickly!

I had a bit of an emotional breakdown last night, started because DH made my dinner too spicy and I couldn't eat it! I had to laugh at myself this morning in the cold light of day!
Anyone else been acting completely emotionally unstable!??

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 10:36

No, Ginger I have been in a really, really good mood. I bounce out of bed at the crack of dawn with loads of energy too which is very strange!

I am shattered by 7pm though Smile and have been in bed by 9pm most nights.

Even my boss being a complete cowbag this morning hasn't made me rage like it usually would.

JoY007 · 20/11/2014 10:46

I am actually ok, but get irritable sometimes, that said it could just be me! Ha ha ha. I am unusually calm at work, but think i am forcing it. Trying to get to bed for 9, went to bed at 8.30 yday and missed 7.30am spin today, I actually feel great. I am suspecting might need to change my exercise routine to PMs which will be hard for me as I love my morning spin class :-(

Overtiredbackagain · 20/11/2014 11:08

This last week I have been trying to eat little and often, usually something small, maybe every hour? It seems to be helping, although have indigestion but I think I would rather that than be feeling sick!

My mood swings are unbearable. Had a run in with a very nasty lady on the train this morning, who refused to move to let me get up as train was late and I needed to get to work for a meeting! Result - bursting into tears Sad

smallgreenbanana · 20/11/2014 11:23

Slept quite badly. Snapped and told my parents this morning under vow of silence etc. What a relief! Grin

naty1 · 20/11/2014 11:23

Low blood pressure possible cause of the dizziness.
I never had more than very slight nausea. I think it may be my pcos as that means my blood sugar is generally high.

Kilicat · 20/11/2014 11:31

Morning all - it's good to hear all the familiar symptoms!!

Finally saw my GP today who referred me to mid-wife and for an early scan. I mentioned some spotting (last week) and the EPU rang me half an hour later and I have an appointment tomorrow morning (amazing, thank you NHS). Nervous and excited all at once and I'll have to drag myself out of bed early (easier said than done these days). However, at 7 weeks will it be an abdominal scan or internal? Am I likely to hear a heartbeat if all is well or is it too early?
