Thanks Lizzi. Poor boy, he isn't scratching yet but have covered him in lotion and hoping he has a decent sleep.

Number3cometome · 23/11/2014 18:43

lizzi my son had chicken pox when I was pg with dd, doc said it was fine x

Bustherb · 23/11/2014 18:44

Lewaney I booked with ultrasound now, they have a few locations across the UK. I have to say I couldn't fault the lady today and I was straight in and not hanging about. She knew lots too xxx

StoneBaby · 23/11/2014 19:01

No much nausea today so slightly worried. I'm hoping I'll get my obstetrician letter in the next 2 weeks.

Great to hear the good news onthe scans. Smile

I am enjoying a 'special' G&T - on.y T and lime juice!

StoneBaby · 23/11/2014 19:01

Oops *only

Butler4 · 23/11/2014 19:05

Thanks ultimate duck. Paranoia is fab!
I have been feeling pretty good the last two days. Not feeling any symptoms at all. Trying not to be paranoid. May change my name to paranoia queen

Swanny84 · 23/11/2014 19:21

Hi all :) due 20th july with 3rd baby. Xxx

Lewaney3 · 23/11/2014 19:23

Thanks bustherb I'll look into them Smile

Leela5 · 23/11/2014 19:50

Welcome to all the newbies! Congratulations!

I don't have bad nausea, just a slight catch of the back of the throat now and then and feel bit hungover. Today I've just got a few stretchy womb cramps and my boobs feel tingly and full. It's funny how one day symptoms are really bad, another hardly anything.

Also does anyone else keep feeling like they've wet themselves? Sorry if tmi! I keep running to the loo coz I'm worried it's blood!

I'm 6+1

Leela5 · 23/11/2014 19:51

I had my early scan last time at my gp. The sonographer does private scans one day a week. Worth checking if your surgery has that option?

Thepurplegiraffe · 23/11/2014 19:54

Leela I feel that all the time! I can't say how many times I have been for a "paranoia" wee.

StoneBaby · 23/11/2014 19:57

leela yep! I'm on pants check every time I'm going tonthe loo as I'm conceive I'm bleeding

Swanny84 · 23/11/2014 20:04

Awww leela I'm too paranoid, any little cramp. Loads of wetness :/ this website has been a godsend already for me. Either forgot how pregnancy was or this is totally different to my last two xx

Mummytogoldie · 23/11/2014 20:16

I have just had a positive test, period due tomorrow so very early stages. Quite frankly I am shitting myself . I have 2 dc with a previous partner and have had 2 mc, I am cheap at pregnancy pre eclampsia, gestational diabetes, blood clots, infections, 2 previous c sections. Help I am scared :/

Mummytogoldie · 23/11/2014 20:18

Crap at pregnancy not cheap lol

StoneBaby · 23/11/2014 20:54

Welcome mummy

Pipbin · 23/11/2014 21:04

I'm glad I'm not the only one with wet knickers. I am so crampy I am convinced it's AF.

Supershiv1 · 23/11/2014 21:08

want you've not revealed yourself, i had to google it - sounds tough!
badideabear I live in Chester, but at moment tucked up in bed in hotel in Chesterfield before my exams tomorrow....??

Bustherb · 23/11/2014 21:14

Does anyone else feel so sick that they don't have an appetite whatsoever. Anything that I eat is because I'm forcing it down. Confused Xx

GingerbreadHead · 23/11/2014 21:19

Hi everyone, can't believe we're half way through thread number 2 already! What number thread will we be on come July!!?
I got my mw app, 3rd december, when I will be 7 weeks Grin so looking forward to that, hope she is nice!
Going to tell my parents on Wed, then in-laws on Sunday, finding it quite hard to keep it a secret so it will be good to spill the beans!
Yes yes yes to the insomnia. Err. I am soo tired, but then as soon as I am in bed, I struggle to get to sleep, and am awake 2 or 3 times in the night. It's ridiculous!
And also yes to feeling freezing and having cold feet all the time! What is that about? Loving taking a hot water bottle to bed!
LovelyWeatherForDucks I often wonder the same thing, DD will be 3.9 when this one is born and every bath/bedtime routine now I wonder how I will do it with a newborn as well!
Mister I am also worried about telling DD that she isn't going to be on her own any more! She loves spending time with DH and I, just the 3 of us, and has said she would only like a little sister, definately doesn't want a little brother...Any advice from 2+ mummies would be good!
Leela yep I have been doing exactly the same, running to the toilet to check!
Those of you who have had flu jabs, did you only decide to get one when you found out you were pregnant? I wouldn't normally get one, but am wondering whether I should now. Can you just ring your gp and request one?

I am 5+4.

WantToGoingTo · 23/11/2014 21:28

Cold feet and insomnia yes to those. Feel wide awake come bedtime then knackered in morning when I can't sleep!

Shiv it is hard - it's all finance at the moment and I have no finance background at all! Closest is GCSE maths!

Linseyd · 23/11/2014 21:39

hi ladies fab new thread anyone from essex at all xxxx

chellyyx · 23/11/2014 21:43

I've got no nausea apart from soon as I wake up I feel like I'm hungover!! Had morning sickness quite bad with DS but had none at all with DD so not worrying too much! Also the tiredness is getting too much, made up I now know the reason for the tiredness I've had past few days though lol. 4+6 by dates so think I've got a bit more symptoms to come yet haven't i!

misseskimo · 23/11/2014 21:57

three I'll give that a go thanks, though I still need to find something I can do when not alone at home... Think HR might have me committed if I suddenly start laying on the floor with my legs in the air whenever I get the cramps in the office Wink Though that has made me giggle outloud at the thought and cause DH to give me a worrying look! Haha. I have read however that peppermint tea is supposed to help... So looks like DH is going shopping after work tomorrow!

leela much better than yesterday that's for sure! Thankyou. Though still not right. I'm so glad I'm working from home all next week, cause it means A. an extra 1.5hrs in bed in the morning, B. I can wear some comfy baggy clothes rather than my usual office attire, and finally C. a hot water bottle and bed will always be close by if I need to lay down for 10mins!

ginger same day as mine! I think I will be 8+3 for my first apt. Can't come soon enough can it!?

The dates are really confusing for me atm, cause I'm running two apps on my phone, one only calculates by the date of your last AF, and you can't amend it to say your cycles are longer, but the app itself is brilliant, and lets me record symptoms, weight, waist, notes, and even all my various apts with reminders... The second app actually lets me put in my cycle details and override it after MW appointments, so the weeks are right, and it also gives great advice for every day into your pg. However it doesn't do all the other stuff, hence running them both... But seeing one app saying I'm 7wks today and another saying I'm 8+4 is sooo confusing!

linseyd I'm from Essex! (should we really be shouting that? Wink) based on previous posts, I think we're the only ones though unless the others are wishing to keep it a secret I just moved to Colchester a few months ago. Whereabouts are you if you don't mind me asking?

twinky12 · 23/11/2014 22:00

Welcome mummy just wanted to send u a virtual hug. I would go to the docs as soon as u can and discuss all your fears as I'm sure they know your history with pregnancy.
