Hooray for dressing gowns, sofas and TV! WantToGoingTo, Kilicat, TouchPauseEngage and Huffs 123 - thanks for those suggestions. I'm not too discriminating in what type of programmes I like, except yesterday I found that anything with a medical bent is a bit too anxiety-provoking at the moment! Death in Paradise is a great idea - I've watched some but not all of it, and I think it would be light enough to cheer me up! I'm also intrigued by Sons of Anarchy, Silks and The Bridge. So plenty to keep myself busy with today! (I'm thinking of sampling a couple of episodes of each…) I don't remember when I last had a completely quiet day - what a treat!
Bump pictures are a really fun idea! At the moment, though, I think I'd have a rather embarassingly big bump from bloating. :-S
247 - I feel like I know all about Baby Brain. Yesterday evening I brushed my teeth and then, since I wasn't wearing my contact lenses, went through the routine of putting them IN before I realized that I really don't need to wear contact lenses to sleep! (This is the kind of thing I would occasionally do anyway, but such things have been happening a lot more in this last sleep-deprived week!)
Lewaney, I think you need to stand up to the GP receptionist. On Tuesday I had pain that felt like it might have been an ectopic, so I phoned up the GP and said I thought I needed an appointment that day, because I thought it might be urgent. The Receptionist replied that they couldn't see me because they were only seeing emergency and urgent cases that day. I felt a bit baffled and hung up the phone, but later when I called 111 they sent me very quickly to an out-of-hours GP service. In hindsight, I should have just been firmer with the receptionist and insisted it WAS an emergency! (I should add that it was almost certainly nothing worrying in the end - just awaiting a scan tomorrow to check.)
Sorry for the long post! By the way, I'm due on the 26th July, and I'm currently 4 +6.
