Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Yeah mine will be 10 months too. I think I would be ready to go back after 10 months. Think id go mad after a year

wilmabedrock · 19/11/2014 21:37

I just have SMP too La, it's shiteballs. speaks from bitter experience.

How long have you had off Horace? That's crazy you're going back as I'm going off. Feels like no time at all. What are you doing about childcare?

Feeling much happier tonight as lots of kicks. Definitely feel as if baby is vertical although not entirely convinced it's the right way up.

RPopz · 19/11/2014 21:40

NHS is pretty good tbh. I get 8 weeks full pay, 18 weeks half pay plus SMP and then 13 weeks SMP only. I keep saying I'll have a year off but I guess it depends on how well we manage for those last couple of months. I'm the main breadwinner as well! DH keeps offering to take mat leave for me.... Hmm

RPopz · 19/11/2014 21:41

Horace you're back at work the day before minipopz is due Shock Doesn't seem like two minutes since your DS was born!

ZylaB · 19/11/2014 21:45

I'm taking the full year i think, then deciding if I'm going back or being a SAHM, I'm only half time, so think working would leave no money after nursery or childcare costs, but I'm leaving the option open... I might want to go back after a year, I might not, have no idea which and it's nice to leave the option there..

Lucky in that DH earns a lot more than me (despite me being better qualified), but that said hs amazing at what he does, he his pay and job role, and I'm really lucky that he'll support me whatever I decide is best.

ZylaB · 19/11/2014 21:47

He in the last paragraph was meant to say hence!

wilmabedrock · 19/11/2014 22:02

Childcare is extortionate. I don't know how anyone who isn't a high earner manages it.

HungryHorace · 19/11/2014 22:06

I'll have had 5.5 months off this time. But I only went back for 4.5 months (inc holidays!) in between mat leaves. I had 9 months with DD and can't afford more time off than I'm having this time.

DH is a SAHD. :-)

I have to say, Wil, you're having what feels like a very long pregnancy! Sorry!

wilmabedrock · 19/11/2014 22:16

Haha Horace, it bloody feels like that to me too. It's because I moan constantly about it! Maybe also because I was pg briefly earlier in the year, so I guess I've had an extra 6 weeks or so really.

Ah that makes things much easier if he is a SAHD. God I think if MrWil was one of those, MiniWil would have lollipops for lunch and watch 13 hours of tv a day Grin .

wilmabedrock · 19/11/2014 22:21

Popz you could have the first baby of the year and get in the paper Grin . Also meant to say that I was chatting to a friend the other day and she said she thought the Tonis were like early labour pains. (As you asked that the other day). So maybe I'm just remembering the full on owchy pains further into it or I guess things could feel different when you're induced.

TheBooMonster · 19/11/2014 22:24

DH is getting very overdramatic over a boss fight (on a computer game) tonight >.> I keep wanting to tell him it's just a game, but am a bit concerned that at the level or rage he's running at he might end up putting his fist through his screen if I do... it's all a it embarrassing to watch... he's actually logged off and stompily turned the computer off sniggers a bit I hope he never dares to tell me my pregnancy hormones make me stroppy ever again!

Bump should be 9 months when I go back, but it depends on when (s)he comes obviously, if we're induced at 37 weeks she'll be closer to 10. Wish my wrk did enhanced maternity packages! I'll be getting just under £100 a week, that's what I get for moving to weekends >.>

I've been typing she all day today... wonder if that's my subconscious trying to tell me this bumps another girl?

Gorgeous name, I hope everything went to plan and that you've been able to get some rest! XxThanksxx

wilmabedrock · 20/11/2014 06:32

Congratulations Furry! Hope it all went well. Lovely news Thanks

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 06:36

Wonderful news furry, love the name xxx

Is anyone else's DH looking to do the shared maternity/ paternity thing? DH has been asking me for the last few days about when I intend to return to work. Turns out he wants to "share" the leave with me. The trouble is, he is only doing it because he hates his job but seems completely paralysed to do anything about it.

I don't want to make that decision yet, I don't know how I'll feel. We're only 5.5 weeks pg!!

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 06:48

Mine would leave baby on a bus so not a chance Grin

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 06:57

Ha! I have no worries about that but I do think he's doing it for the wrong reasons and he is already making me feel a little bad because I won't commit to anything. He even suggested I go back after 3 months so that he could have 6 months off! Errrr. No.

Leela5 · 20/11/2014 07:04

fleur that sounds bit odd! How's he planning to feed the baby if you're bf?

Mine is taking 2 weeks at start then might take a couple of weeks at end so I can go back and start earning ASAP as I'm higher earner

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 07:10

Well, he has this all figured out apparently. I work really close to home and my employer is flexible about my hours. Therefore, clearly, I can come home for feeds.

To him, it is the most sensible suggestion ever.

He is the higher earner btw and so we would have to really tighten our belts to do this.

I am trying not to completely dismiss the suggestion as it will only make him more determined Hmm

laurenamium · 20/11/2014 07:11

Congratulations furry! What a lovely name! Can't wait to hear the birth story!

Ill be going back to work after 5 months this time- but I work from home looking after children so won't be leaving baby, and it'll be part time hours on full time pay so I can't really turn it down Grin

Is anyone else not sleeping? I keep waking up a good hour before my alarm, then another 3 or 4 times in the night. I've never struggled with dropping back off either but I really am this time Confused

ZylaB · 20/11/2014 07:11

Congratulations furry lovely name and I hope you're enjoying newborn cuddles :)

Fleurchamp · 20/11/2014 07:11

And I also think when faced with a screaming baby and pooey nappies he will prefer to be at work Grin

laurenamium · 20/11/2014 07:13

As for DP, he works funny hours so is around quite a lot or not at all depending on what he's got on...he would go stir crazy being a SAHD. He's fantastic with DD and they have lots of fun together...but nothing else at all would get done and she would be living on fish finger sandwiches Hmm
