little - we always book up our next mw appt at the one before. so my next one is the end of Jan at 28 weeks. v day - is that when you lost your last one? that will be a milestone.

LittleBairn · 08/11/2014 07:30

LIG V day is Viability day 24 weeks. I lost DD at 19+2.
Now if the pattern from DS to DD was to continue I might get to 22-23 weeks before i dilate or waters break and I usually last at least a week after that.
So even getting to 22-23 weeks is a bit of a goal but a scary one I don't want my baby born so early but I do want it to at least have a chance.

Family can say the most Hmm things in our situations, my dad told me before DS died (but was ill) to hurry up and get pregnant again my niece wanted a baby cousin! Poor kid is still waiting.

I'm absolutely certain that this baby is a boy and I have a perfect score for being right on Gender. Grin

Shetland · 08/11/2014 08:13

I'm pleased london (although perfectly prepared for them to change their minds at the 20 week scan!) I have 2 girls already so will be very happy to have a third - I feel like I know what I'm doing with girls!

Well, I just told the girls there's a baby on the way :) youngest just wandered off (she's too young to get it) but eldest seemed pretty pleased - she keeps stroking my bump.

LittleBairn · 08/11/2014 19:07

shetland awe that's lovely. What age are they?

Shetland · 08/11/2014 19:23

3.10 and 2.11 little

Shetland · 08/11/2014 19:24

1.11 even

LittleBairn · 08/11/2014 22:17

Grin I was all Wow there at such a short age gap. Lovely ages mind you busy ages!
Both my mum and DH have siblings just a year younger than them. My mums DB was born during her first birthday party with a house full of party guests. Shock and some MN complain about their MIL barging in so soon after birth my granny had the whole of her in-laws in the house! Grin

Very busy ages little - pretty much non stop in this house at the moment :)

TinyTear · 09/11/2014 10:53

Yawn yawn yawn... Dd got a cold and a cough and at 4am had a temp and wanted to come to our bed. Calpol and cuddles and then she was hungry as she had gone to sleep too tired with no dinner... A cheese string and a carrot later we finally turn the light out again at 6am...
Then she was awake at 8! Yawn yawn...
Temp down but not much appetite... Poor puppy...

Pregnancy rest? What's that?

Awe I feel awful for all you pregnant mothers with kids. I hope littlest tiny gets well soon. And you get a lot more sleep!
DH likes to take the piss because I alternate between the bed and my armchair and footstool. Everytime I get up he asks if its arse time or back time. Grin
Yesterday I was so bored I went with him because he needed to check out one of his sites, I sat in the an and did some coursework.

I'm being naughty today and having a fruit salad with citrus fruit, baby gets some nutrients I get reflux. Somehow I don't think I'm the winner in this scenario...

LittleBairn · 09/11/2014 12:43

I sat in the Van.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 09/11/2014 15:36

little ive come to the conclusion that when it comes to eating the baby is always the winner, ive mostly craved pickled eggs, pickled onions, pickled beetroot (anyone seeing a theme here Wink) and they all give me heartburn, beany on the other hand merrily kicks away whilst im eating them.

last night poor dp had to go out in the rain to get me dairy milk and rice crispies because I wanted rice crispy cakes, I havent has chocolate since getting pregnant so it made a nice change from pickles Grin

LittleBairn · 09/11/2014 16:03

smiling Nice bet you'll love Christmas with all the christmas special pickle deals. Grin just wait till your on chocolate pickles! Bless your DH he sound sweet.

The only major craving I've had was Wotsits DH brought me a bag home and I just felt meh after a few if them.
I did try peanut butter and digestives that was quite nice if a bit dry.

My dad swears he had craving when my mum was pregnant with me for chicken. My DH did try and say 'we' were pregnant so I made him clear up the bathroom after some violent MS, he's never said it again. Wink

I'm having a crampy achy day to day just trying to ignore it, I've been here before and been fine.

Glad mini tiny has perked up - it's not nice when they're ill :(

I've been at a childrens party all afternoon so now I'm home I've barricaded myself in the bathroom for some peace and quiet - warm bath, iPad and silence - bliss!

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 09/11/2014 18:26

tiny I somehow missed your post, I hope your dd feels better soon x

little dp tried the were pregnant line, my dsd wasnt impressed she said "actually dad I think youll find smiling is pregnant not you" he hasnt said it since Grin

21wks today

TinyTear · 09/11/2014 19:48

38.6 before bed... Calpol and asleep at 7:30 which is early for her... Fingers crossed... But the cold is moving from cough to snot and is responsive to meds... So she should be fine tomorrow. She was running around soft play without a care in the world...
Par for the course...

I've been lurking a bit, and know tiny from the RMC thread, and a couple of other names are familiar.

I wondered if I could join you? I'm actually due in March, but there's no March equivalent to this thread, and the main thread is a bit preoccupied with prams and painting rooms for me...

I'm 23+5 after 5 consecutive MCs and I have 2 DS's age 15 and 2.8. I was treated at Coventry (same as tiny) and have been a nervous wreak, even though it's been pretty textbook up until now.

I hope I can hang with you a bit, if that's OK.

TinyTear · 09/11/2014 20:06

Welcome Tanny some of us due to sections and stuff might end up being Marchies as well...

Shetland · 09/11/2014 20:16

Hi tanny and welcome :)

I have 2 worn out girls from a birthday party - both asleep, which is really early for us. So - start clearing out the spare room? Or cup of tea and then bed? Ummmm.......

Goodnight ;)

LIG1979 · 09/11/2014 20:32

Dh has gone to bed and I am in front of the TV with a very well earned glass of wine. (Feeling quite guilty even though it is a small glass and only had 2 others this pregnancy.) Had friends round earlier and they brought lots of sweet stuff so think I may demolish that and then moan about my pregnancy weight gain.

Tiny - glad dd is on the mend -hope you both have a good sleep tonight. Horrible when they are ill.

Shetland - those are nice age gaps and lovely they are all still little. Although sounds busy in your house.

I haven't told dd (2.3) yet but have started trying to explain that other heavily pregnant people have babies in their tummy. I think even if she did get it, she has issues with timing so telling her April would mean nothing and she would want the baby out of my tummy NOW!

Welcome tanny - glad the treatment worked and well done on getting so far.

Little - cannot believe your dad said that. That said my mum came up with a few ideas of what I had done to cause my 1st mc. She didn't find out about the 2nd and now doesn't get told till 12 weeks. Â

My achievement is I didn't feel sick yesterday. It was very odd, it got to 10 pm and then I realised that the sickness hadn't kicked in. (A bit of a relief as got a day trip to Leeds on tuesday and was worried about the journey home.)Â
