Shetland no MS bug still feeling queasy.
With my DS I had MS till he was born! Wasn't too bad towards the end as I was only sick 2-3 times a day.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 31/10/2014 21:22

Good news on your test results london

shetland im 19+6 and this morning felt really sick, I only just managed to keep a satsuma down. Havent had any ms for at least 4 weeks so it hit me from nowhere.

tiny whoever got offended by that is an idiot.

just got back from sil's it turns out mil has been telling her all kind of stories, none of which are true and she also told her about the baby 3 weeks ago even though she knew we werent telling her until after my dsc knew as we didnt want the nieces and nephews to unwittingly let slip, so that caused some issues Angry

Thankfully the nausea has passed for me, although if I leave it to late to eat in the evenings I don't feel to great.

Would it be wrong to celebrate with cake London??

I am currently crocheting a baby blanket for a friend who's baby boy is due next saturday, I am hoping he's a little late as otherwise I don't think its going to be ready in time!!!

TinyTear · 01/11/2014 11:16

Yes, celebrate with cake... And then continue the good work. Main thing is for me to reduce the amounts of sugar and pasta/ rice

smiling goodness your MIL sounds hard work especially if you need to live with her!

babies an the joy of heartburn. The Gaviscon bottles are good for it.

lila I'm worse in the evenings too, I try to make sure I've eaten by 6pm otherwise I'm either sick or have awful acid reflux.
Nothing stresses me out more than knitting to a deadline, I'm ok a sling as I d t hae a date. Mind you MIL has been waiting for her socks since February Blush

I'm 16 weeks today, only 8 more to go to viability. I'm finding I'm more stressed and nervous than ever now I'm passing DS date. It still do long to go. I don't think anyone in RL really understand why but I really do feel like a ticking time bomb.

LittleBairn · 01/11/2014 12:42

Hmm that should have read 'I'm ok as long as I don't have a date.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 01/11/2014 14:37

Gaviscon helps my heartburn but makes me puke so im drinking milk of magnesia by the bottle.

please tell me im not the only one that cant stop burping? They are so loud, its really embarrassing Blush

LittleBairn · 01/11/2014 14:49

smiling I'm the opposite I can't burp! And if I can't when I need to being that I'm so refluxy I vomit. I tried drinking fizzy drinks but I was worried a out the amount of sugar in them and I think it was also causing me to be sick.
I'm so classy. Blush

I swig the bottle too.

I'm a bit tired too today, since DH woke me up at 4am to tell me that I now always breath heavy through my mouth and its healthier for one to breath through their nose. I may have said something to the effect he won't be breathing at all in the future if he wakes me up again.... Who on earth wakes up a pregnant woman?!

lila35 · 01/11/2014 18:49

Oh if only I was burping instead of bottom burping!!! ALthough to be fair thats an evening thing to and at least I am home Wink

LittleBairn · 01/11/2014 19:16

Grin oh no poor you.

LIG1979 · 01/11/2014 20:15

Evening all,

Having a bit of a panic. Accidentally ate some pastrami not realising it was a cured meat (baby brain) now I am paranoid I have caught toxoplasmosis. Hopefully the dr can reassure me or test me for it next week. Also, now have a sore throat which can be a symptom of it but could also be a common cold. Please tell me I am being silly!!! (I keep googling and it is scaring the hell out me.)

As far as I know gaviscon is fine with aspirin. I took it last time with no ill effects but luckily I didn't have too much heart burn last time. Did have a big problem with farts though and that seems to be happening again - my poor husband at night!

Well done London on the gtt.

Tiny - not sure why that would cause offence I would just think you were talking about your dd.

Smiling - your mil sounds tough! That is lovely to see your charges grow up and not to keep having to move jobs. Also, lovely to be able to bring your dc.Â

Babiecakes - my pregnancy is definitely speeding up now that I am feeling a bit better and past 12 weeks. Those first few weeks went so slowly especially when I felt terrible. I am quite Envy about your child free time and very excited about maternity leave and having no dc2 but still having dd in nursery -although last time only got 4 days mat leave before dd showed up quickly at 38 weeks. It would be tough to work when they are only at nursery for a few hours though....

Quite annoyed at having a cold when I am finally feeling well enough to enjoy myself again. Better get an early night to try and sleep it off in the absence of any hard core drugs.

LittleBairn · 01/11/2014 21:00

LIG I'm sure you will be fine a little bit is unlikely to cause any serious problems. But I know the feeling of food panic I'm constantly throwing food out ecause I become suspicious of it.

Babies Gaviscon and Asprin are absolutely fine together I'm prescribed both. I couldn't survive pregnancy without Gaviscon.
As a Gaviscon connoisseur I would say they aren't all equal in their abilities, the spurious one is the Aniseed bottle one, the satchet aren't great and don't seem to have the same capabilities.

Shetland · 02/11/2014 08:04

I used to swig the aniseed one straight from the bottle with DD2 - my heartburn was awful I hope I don't get it that bad this time.

I've was in bed at 20.45 last night and pretty much slept through til 6.30 - bliss!

Now trying to decide what to do with 2 pre-schoolers today when it's tipping down with rain.....

LittleBairn · 02/11/2014 10:51

Oh weird auto-correct I didn't mean to write Spurious but SUPERIOR. Which is why I have a huge bottle of it, like Sheltand I like to glug it.

I'm feeling pretty crap I have so little faith in this hospital, more the caring, compassion and making sure we have privacy once I'm in hospital. That if DC dies I won't get to spend anytime afterward with him/her well be rushed out the room. My anxiety is so bad over it I have been having nightmare all night every night for the last few days.

LIG1979 · 03/11/2014 13:56

After my pastrami panic and too much time on Google I went to the dr. She smiled and said that it was incredibly low risk and I shouldn't worry and there was no need to get tested. She explained it was a very American worry and often in other countries they eat it freely without worry. She is however very relaxed about most things so that does concern me.

Little - I do feel for you having this dark cloud over you and not feeling reassured by the hospital. It must be incredibly tough. I am shocked at your husband for waking you - my husband wouldn't dare - last pregnancy I would often wake up and he was in the spare room or sofa.

Shetland - jealous of the sleep. Dd has been sleeping in recently and dh has been getting up with her so I have had lots of lie ins but it is the lack of continuous sleep I miss.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 03/11/2014 14:54

Im glad the dr said not to worry lig

DP isnt brave enough to wake me when im not pregnant, waking me now would be very very stupid Wink

20+1

LittleBairn · 03/11/2014 17:01

LIG honestly that sort of behaviour is normal with my DH, he's autistic, but its the first time he's dared to wake me when pregnant. He used to wake me at 7am at the weekends to ask if I wanted to go shopping.
The next morning I had a lot of loud sighs and throat clearing he's about as subtle as a brick. Grin

LittleBairn · 03/11/2014 17:01

Shetland · 03/11/2014 17:17

Don't be jealous LIG - normal service resumed last night, awake from 2.30-5.30. Sigh....

little how are you feeling today?

shetland ok-ish. I'm fine in the days its the nighttime I'm having problems sleeping because of the worry. I was thinking ok email sands and ask them if they have any specific info on that particular hospital. But I just don't feel up to it. I feel awful like I'm planing this poor baby's passing.

babies much sympathy I had a shoulder issue that took years to resolve no thanks to my GP. I totally understand why you have to lift your DS, autism especially in the toddler years is so little understood by others.
Do you a pushchair, will he use it?
If not and you can't carry but need a saftey net I highly reccomend the kids bagpacks with rains, they are sturdy and handy for putting a spare nappy or dry pants inside plus a snack.

TinyTear · 03/11/2014 20:09

I am tired... I am wishing time away... Can it be Christmas soon? And then April?
