Congratulations captain! Glad you had a good experience.

Yay for going home fedup

The couple from our nct group who had their baby on friday surprised us all by showing up last night. Her placenta started to come away so she was induced at 37 weeks...scary stuff!

ohthegoats · 23/09/2014 13:59

Good news fedup

Congratulations gun - hope you're ok x

Brilliant news, fedup

(It's all go in here - good job I'm on mat leave, or I'd never keep up!)

hefner · 23/09/2014 14:14

Congratulations captain and gun!

Glad to hear you're home again fedup.

ohthegoats · 23/09/2014 14:17

Shire - yeah, me too. I was actually sitting here in front of Downton from Sunday night waiting for baby news!

Congrats Gun.

Me23 · 23/09/2014 14:22

captain congratulations! Glad all went well.

fedup glad you are off home.

slide hope all is well with you and little one.

goats consultants aren't used to people telling them no, they tend to relish their god like status. Well done for standing your ground. You are well within your rights to refuse kellands! (Or anything) what I mean is it is not an unreasonable or irrational refusal.

Was Ds first day at school nursery today, they havent called so I assume he is ok.

sazzlehopes · 23/09/2014 14:32

Congrats gun and captain!

Hope you get to stay at home now fedup.

weeonion · 23/09/2014 16:30

Congrats captain and gun!!!

porcito · 23/09/2014 16:32

Congrats gun and captain! Great to hear. Hope you're both feeling OK.

And glad you get to go home fedup! Hopefully you can have a smooth time now!

I'm on my first 'real' day of mat leave without appointments etc. and really don't know what to do with myself. So strange. Not complaining! I'm on a Grey's Anatomy / Downton marathon to start. Never mind the piles of baby clothes that need sorting out...

My baby's not engaged either, at almost 39 weeks. She's having a comfy old time in there. She's stopped moving as much in the past couple of days, but maybe it's more noticeable because I'm doing nothing...

Me23 · 23/09/2014 16:34

Since mn changed formats everything take ages to load on my phone and loads of posts don't show up really annoying hence I didn't see guns announcement earlier many congratulations gun anyone with a laptop able to update list I can't on phone and don't have a working laptop.

granny a friend came to visit today was nice to have a catch up.
Dd starts her new school Monday both her and Ds start and finish same time but are 10 mins apart so I don't know what to do? I've sorted morning as dd can go to breakfast club but pick up is a problem only solution I can see is arranging to pick Ds up 15 mins early from nursery but worried they may not like this idea! I don't really have an alternative.

sazzlehopes · 23/09/2014 16:46

Aghhhh my body/this baby is such a tease! I was supposed to have a nice 'final' lunch with my mum today but I really thought it was all happening suddenly (I'd felt odd all morning, twinges etc) and we'd just ordered and I thought oh shit I'm in labour. Left the poor restaurant just after ordering (they were very nice about it) and now it's all stopped!!!! I had a bath and paracetamol and all pain, twinges, period cramps disappeared! I'm still hoping this is part of the long latent phase yellow mentioned and I go onto having a magic birth! Either that or this baby is going to be trouble in real life too and it means nothing! Haha Grin

And all I can think about is the yummy lunch I've missed out on!!!

me Yeah I'm dreading next sept when DS starts school & DD is at nursery...they're 15 mins apart. Assuming we get the school we want, it's only 5 mins round the corner but nursery is 15 mins away. I've changed their hours while I'm on mat leave for them to attend school hours at nursery...but you've just made me realise I'll have same dilemma as you, this time next year!

clairemiss79 · 23/09/2014 16:56

Ha porcito i am also on a downton marathon. 3hrs today!! I'm on season 2. Breaking Bad is another brilliant one for putting in the time. Totally addictive. Has anyone else lost the ability to put on shoes and even wipe after loo - sorry tmi - but i can hardly move. My baby feels enormous!

Congrats on all the babies. I'm bawling with envy. I'd love to have it all behind me and cuddling my baby :)
