Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

A 'Paddington hard stare' is one of my mums expressions! I used to love Paddington Bear when I was little!
According to Wikipedia: 'When he gets annoyed with someone, he often gives the person one of his special "hard stares" (taught to him by Aunt Lucy), which causes the person to become flushed and embarrassed.' Grin

RPopz · 30/09/2014 22:25

Haha Ness - that's brill Grin

Callipy - I had that but with my belly... in the morning it'd be pretty normal size but by bedtime it'd have inflated times a million!!

Someone at work told me my boobs were massive this afternoon... Hmm Must be the preggo bras haha!

Nessalina · 01/10/2014 00:13

OMG! It's October! My baby is due next month!! Shock
Fuck fuck fuckity fuck! Where did 8 months go?!

wilmabedrock · 01/10/2014 06:22

Haha sudden panic there Ness? I am sure you're very well prepared. Couple more weeks and you'll be wishing for it to be born!

I've been in bed for about ten hours. Amazing. Don't even feel too hideous about having to get up in 5 minutes.

couldbeanyone · 01/10/2014 06:43

I have a great paddington stare, well perfected, shame I didn't use it yesterday! Wil also just got up an been in bed since 8 last night Wink

ZylaB · 01/10/2014 06:59

Wow ness scary in a good way!!

laurenamium · 01/10/2014 07:21

Ohhh it seems like there's lots of babies coming soon!! Can we have another roll call? Grin

I think me and DP finally agreed on names last night! It is early though so ill probably change my mind. My DD was nearly called Winter when I became all hormonal and crazy towards the end, my DM kept me grounded (kind of) and I went with the different but not quite as crazy name I liked first Grin

teejayem · 01/10/2014 08:04

Hi viroids! Just wanted to pop in, got my bfp yesterday..... I am about 5 weeks according to my technical devices.I am totally terrified..

laurenamium · 01/10/2014 08:07

Yay congratulations tee GrinGrin

Minion · 01/10/2014 08:29

Wahey! Congrats tee, lovely to see you here.
Oooosh ness... You'll be a mom next month, eeeek, so exciting!
Ooh juni it's getting close! Again, so exciting!

I too am waiting for the elusive glow. My MIL did say a few weeks ago, after I apologised for looking shit at dinner due no make up, 'actually I was just thinking how brown you were (I'm deathly pale, think caspers little sister, pale) and that you were just glowing', I made that one eyebrow arch look and said to her, aww thanks, it's probably sweat.
So I think I missed my moment there.

I'm 30 weeks today! It feels like some sort of milestone! Is it? Should I celebrate by staying in bed all day? My hips and groin certainly want me to...

teejayem · 01/10/2014 08:30

Just to add my stats..

Name: Tee
No DC's;currently growing a tiny tee expecting appearance in Early June

Lovely to see some of the other grads on here! Xxx

KatoPotato · 01/10/2014 08:41

Yo Tee!! Amazing to see you!! How're you feeling?

Pisghetti · 01/10/2014 09:11

Congratulations Tee! Grin

Did anyone else start getting headaches after their BFP? Any idea when they piss off because I'm getting absolutely sick of them now Angry

JuniDD · 01/10/2014 09:46

Alright ness?! You've got a month, it'll all be good.

Welcome tee and calli and hi tori - delurk & join us!

It's very noisy around here today, which is annoying.

pis I believe headaches are "normal"...are you drinking enough water? Remind me how far along you are? Headaches are the pits.

Stay in bed minion that's my plan for the day, 30 weeks is a milestone...final countdown now!

Any ideas how I'm meant to do the labour breathing when I've got stupid rhinitis of pregnancy and a permanently blocked nose? GRRRRR.

Pisghetti · 01/10/2014 09:56

I'm 16 weeks. I am drinking a lot more water than I did before I got pregnant. Had a pint of squash before I left the house at 7.20 and have been sipping on a bottle of water ever since but my head is still pounding. I never got headaches before - even with a hangover/dehydration. It sucks! DS started getting headaches a couple of weeks ago too. I did start to question the boiler but I'm the same when I'm at work/at DPs/in London so I don't think it's that.

Hi Calli sorry I missed you popping in before Tee! I'm just all me, me, me Wink

JuniDD · 01/10/2014 10:02

Might be worth getting a carbon monoxide monitor if you're both suffering pis? Does sound more mini-pis related than boiler though!

callipygian00 · 01/10/2014 10:51

Hey Pis I've had a mild headache since BFP, sort of like I haven't been drinking enough but I've been drinking TONS. My DSis got really bad headaches when pg, esp near the end but then she found 4Head, she said it was amazing, so might be worth a try? www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/4head-effective-headache-relief-stick-3-6g-11802%3Futm_source%3DGoogle%26utm_medium%3DProduct%26utm_campaign%3DProduct?gclid=CLGUw_6Vi8ECFYrjwgodC10AzA

teejayem · 01/10/2014 11:03

Aw, so nice to see some of the old crew! Honestly never thought I'd get there - Least of all this month!
I feel... odd! I think that's what prompted me to test - I can smell a weird smell like cat wee, I am SO HUNGRY, the bonkers dreams, the hot flushes.... I think I feel a bit better now I know why, but yeah, it's more an 'off' feeling than anything else. That and I've got some AF style twinges and loads of CM?! I do feel a bit overwhelmed, it feels like it's taken forever to get to this stage, and now, I'm a bit like 'Now what?!'

Nessalina · 01/10/2014 11:14

I'll do a correct edit once all the new info is in!! OCD much

ZylaB · 01/10/2014 11:29

Grats tee :)

Def stay in bed min I think I'm going to have to go out, I need to find some maternity jeans, there's some definite bump action happening here and if I pull my non mat jeans under the bump they fall off my hips whenever I walk!

Minion · 01/10/2014 11:58

I've had to drag myself out of the pit for a driving lesson, but come 2pm, I'll be king of the slobs once more.
Get some mat leggings, amazing. I'll never be parted from mine!

splodge77 · 01/10/2014 12:56

Hi all, woo hoo welcome to the madness tee! I feel a bit BETTER today & it's amazing. Well aware it may not be permanent as only 10 weeks but enjoying respite from the nausea as long as it lasts. It still hasn't really hit home to me that I'm having another baby. All that nappies, bottles, bibs business seems a long time ago tho only 3 and a half years. Eek! Anyone else daunted by the prospect of wrangling two? My DS is such a lovely mummy's boy at the moment I fear he's going to find it tough to share me!! Ah well got a long time to go to prepare for all that yet. Scan date has come through for 20th oct but still no booking appointment?!

callipygian00 · 01/10/2014 13:09

Hey, according to online calendars my EDD is 4th June. DM lives with us so already told her - EDD is near her birthday so got her a grandma birthday card saying thought we'd give you this now as we'll maybe be busy around your birthday, love minicalli. Not that we're getting ahead of ourselves or anything?! overexcited

callipygian00 · 01/10/2014 13:11

splodge give em a buzz about your booking appt, can't do any harm and will set your mind at ease
